I wouldn't recommend going to Camping World to buy a camper. The salesman didn't seem to know what he was talking about or maybe he just lied to get me to come to their store. He said my ATV would fit in their Toy Hauler, but it didn't. On top of that, after we agreed on a price, they wanted to charge me an extra $1,000 for propane tanks and a battery that couldn't be removed. I decided to think it over and gave them a refundable $1,000 check as a deposit. The next day, I realized I didn't like how they treated me and told them I didn't want the camper anymore. But they couldn't give me any information about what would happen to my check. I sent multiple emails to the sales manager and corporate office, but I never got a response, even after waiting for weeks. I've talked to other people who had similar experiences, and I wish I had known about them before I went there.

We bought a 2020 *** in July . We saw a floor model and they said they'd get a new one for us. But when we went to sign the paperwork, it was the same camper. We were excited, so we bought it, thinking they'd add warranties and fix any issues. But their service *** is a nightmare. We took the camper home and the bench broke right away. We contacted the service *** and they said it would take 3 months to get the part. On our second trip in July , the ceiling started falling, the other bench broke, and the sink leaked. They can't fix it until October or November. I can drive an hour to another Camping World, but I'm fed up. I'm paying monthly for something I can't even use. I'm afraid it'll fall apart if we use it more. Don't buy anything from these people. I filed a complaint, but nothing has been done.

I bought a *** Coachmen Mirada on April 11, 2022. They said it had been inspected and everything was good, but the coolant tank needed to be replaced. This was my first time taking it on the road for interior work. But we didn't make it to our destination in *** from ***. We only made it to ***, which is 80 miles away. The drive shaft fell off while we were on highway I35. It was really dangerous, I could have flipped over and caused a lot of deaths. Luckily, we were near an exit. At first, I thought it was just the drive shaft and some damage to the left side compartment. We called AAA for a tow and they found more damage. Here's the list: the carrier bearing burned up, which made the drive line move too much. This caused the ears on the transmission yoke to break, which made the transmission move and the belt housing break. All of this could have been avoided if Camping World had just lubricated the bearings. But they didn't do anything and it could have cost me my life. I feel like they're not trying to fix the problems because I paid in cash and bought it as is. I've talked to corporate and the Camping World people. The Fort Worth Camping World says they don't do chassis work and they'll contact ***. But when I asked if they'll cover the expenses, they said they have to talk to someone at *** headquarters. I used up my whole 401k on this motorhome. I'm a disabled veteran and all of this is making my health worse. I gave them a chance to fix it or give me a refund, but they haven't done anything. I don't know where else to go for help.

Terrible experience. We picked a camper to buy and were shown it multiple times by different employees. The website listed several options, like . But when it was time to purchase, they said the online listing was wrong and *** wasn't included. So we declined. Days passed and they still didn't remove the *** option from the listing. I have screenshots for proof. Even though their website said *** was included (it wasn't), they offered to install one at our cost, not theirs. They wanted to charge us for their mistake. More days passed and we decided to buy without . We asked to test the heating, but it was broken. They said we could fix it at our cost, not theirs. We also asked to test the stove, but they refused. Despite their lies and bad attitude, we liked the layout and decided to buy. With employee ***, we agreed on a cash amount. No financing. This was approved. If they record phone calls, they should listen to the call where *** said a full cash amount was fine. But we had to hurry because someone else was coming at 12PM to buy. So we arrived at 11AM for our appointment. *** took our IDs and copied them as we were buying the camper. We sat down and *** wrote a financing contract. But we had agreed on cash. We pointed this out and *** left to talk to financial management. They said they couldn't write a cash receipt that day. But we had an appointment to buy with cash. It didn't make sense. So we were denied our purchase. And that same day, the camper was sold to someone else on our appointment. Very upsetting and deceptive. We called and complained. A male employee called us back and blamed us for not signing the financing deal. He called us liars when we said we agreed on cash. He said it was impossible. I recorded the call. The whole experience was horrible. I will share all of this on social media- *** Instagram, etc. The unit was sold to someone else on our appointment even though we had cash. We gave our IDs, etc. It doesn't make sense. The only reason is discrimination. I will share this on social media too. Their response will probably be a generic apology and asking if we want to come back and look at another unit. My response is no. The unit we wanted most was sold to someone else even though we had cash.

I got a new camper trailer from this place. The sales folks were real good, and they delivered the trailer with no issues. But dang, the hot water system in the trailer had two water leaks. I told the company about it, but they ain't fixin' it. The service manager ain't callin' me back neither. I even went to the store to complain, but the manager wasn't there. I left my number again, but nobody's called me yet. I managed to fix one of the leaks, but the other one's in a tricky spot. If I don't stop that leak soon, it's gonna cause more damage.
