I have been a loyal customer for approximately 13 years, but no longer as of yesterday. Approximately 2 weeks ago I had pre paid for tires and installation. At the time of my payment for these tires I was not informed my membership was about to expire and the associate proceeded with the payment. However, my appointment was yesterday and I was refused installation of my tires because my membership had expired. If I would have been informed the 2 weeks prior I would have been Able to pay to renew the membership, however the associate didn't think it was important enough to let me know (something Sams club has always done when my membership was expiring). Not only would they not install my tires they did not want to refund my money until I made them get management involved. As previously stated I could not renew my membership at that time because I was unaware the membership expired and did not have the money (if they would have informed me when I pre paid, I would have saved the money). It's really sad management had to get involved and I had to act a fool and cause a scene to get my money back (tires and installation is expensive and not chump change, I wasn't just going to let Sams keep that much money). From now on Costco will get my business.
