We purchased our home in the beginning of 2016. It was a brand new home. After a few months living here I completed a form of issues we had with the home and turned them into the contractor manager. Every single issue was dismissed or a lame excuse was given. Now we are trying to sell our home and an inspection was completed. All the issues I pointed out, plus many more, are on this report. I sent an email to LGI last week and have not had a response. I just want them to stand behind their workmanship. I've attached the summary pages of the report. I've already spoken to both of our insurance companies about these issues, and they have both said that it is the builders responsibility to take care of them. These are issues that are builder issues. Since I tried to take care of this before the 11 months after purchase expired, I believe that LGI should still stand behind the issues. An inspector should be sent out that will not dismiss them with some excuse such as woodpeckers, or a light doesn't work all the time for cooling reasons, when all the other lights work fine, and a deadbolt should fit into the striker hole, but it is 1/2" lower than the hole. Please help us.
