CVS - RX insurance/service

As prescription meds are getting heinously over-priced, I'm having to find alternate meds to compensate for what my doctor wants me to take. Unfortunately, I cannot find any help with this. I am not versed in prescription medications, nor do I know what Big Pharma has on their lists that would be something cheaper I could take.

These insurance companies are supposed to have people who KNOW this stuff and keep track of it! Yet Caremark DOES NOT!

In 8/2021 I called Caremark so-called "customer assistance" about Levemir or other possible such meds I could get that wouldn't cost me over $10 - $25 copay.

The response I got was "we don't do that". And I said "what do you mean you DON'T DO THAT"? They guy told me "we don't do that, we don't know what meds would substitute". SERIOUSLY?!

So I emailed them, hoping to get a better solution. And all I got in response (Kathy F.) to my email was "look at our drug list", "contact your doctor", and gave me a list of idiotic generic coupons that don't work.

First off, my doctor is the one that told me to call them, because he doesn't know what meds they have on their lists, or how much they charge for them, much less what I can get for the copay I can afford!

Secondly, thier "drug list" is not even listed on their site! All I get is a blank page with a disclaimer on it "inactive account"! I told them WHAT "inactive account"? I'm registered, they have my info, AND the prescription insurance that is being paid FOR THEIR SERVICES are still active!

In 5/23 I contacted them once again about Toujeo substitutes, because it went UP $100 for the copay, from $10! I can't afford that!

I get the same "robo response" as I did from the previous email, this time from Denise B. Telling me the same exact thing!

HOW is it that a pharma company that also deals in pharma insurance DOES NOT HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS THEY ARE EASILY SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO ANSWER?

SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE!

Do NOT use CVS CAREMARK FOR ANYTHING! They have NO IDEA what they are doing! And they don't care! All they want is our money and thats it!

Unfortunately, the company I work for has CVS as their prescription plan, so I'm screwed until I can find some substitutes somehow.

CAREMARK DOES NOT CARE!

CVS - My hipaa information - compromised I did not sign a release at any time!

On or around 4/7/23 CVS handed over 15 pages of protected healthcare information of mine to a 3rd party with a fraudulent release. LET ME REPEAT THAT I NEVER SIGNED ANY RELEASE FOR MY RECORDS CVS.

The third party in an email later provided to CVS admitted and listed CVS as one of many who did provide them with information with the "release".

I have requested multiple times from Corp executives to the records department to the privacy officer that apparently doesn't exist at CVS to find out what they gave this Healthcare clearinghouse who sells information to companies. CVS WILL NOT PROVIDE THAT TO ME. EVEN AFTER THEY ADMITTED THEY DID GIVE IT OUT, THEY WANT ME TO GO TO THE 3RD PARTY WHO ILLEGALLY GOT THE INFORMATION TO GET IT FROM THEM.

Well I know they are not going to provide me with my own personal information that they gave out because they would then have to show me the fraudulent release that was used. Due to their willful negligence and being deceitful. Still don't have a copy of my records or release you gave out or relied on to release my records. Where is it?

Desired outcome: 1Million USD -And copy of my release that was fraudulent and what you gave out of my medical records.

CVS - Very rude & nasty pharmacist & staff as usual!

Called store to ask about refilling an empty, very necessary script as I have a sometimes fatal illness. I asked for the pharmacist but the technician took it upon herself to tell me what was what. I called back twice & asked for pharmacist & was hung up on twice! Pharmacist told me I'd picked up a 6mo and a 3mo supply of my med from April to June? It's a 3mo supply and I NEVER picked up a 6mo supply, never mind 9mo supply from April-June! My insurance co would NEVER pay for 9mo of any Med! She was shockingly horribly rude, short tempered, nasty and did not CARE to let me explain how that didn't make sense. She kept cutting me off, saying she couldn't offer me any more information and said she was way too busy giving vaccines & flu shots! I begged her to please help me. Nothing! I told her I was filing a complaint against her and I asked for her name and was hung up on instantly! So people in line for vaccines from other towns, which the techs give, are more important than figuring out what CVS or she did WRONG? Typical for this store! It's the worst pharmacy I've ever used! I have a Latin name & truly believe her behavior was based on race and my childlike sounding voice! If it were a famous, rich or an elderly person, I don't think they would have been treated like this! There are very wealthy people & celebrities who live in my town. I want her fired from this store! Calling the Board of Pharmacists and writing to CVS corporate in Woonsocket RI! I'm leaving complaints everywhere! She's a "health care" provider? So was I! If she's stressed, leave! Front cashier employees have also been talked about badly amongst customers I've talked to, but they remain there too! Don't go here! Now I'm completely out of my Med and I had 5 refills which she said are now gone! They also never check GoodRx to lower prices unless you ask, so please ask! I was going to be charged over $300 for a script until I asked THEM to run it through GOODRx! This should be done automatically! Not the 1st time and I've also found pills in my bottles that weren't mine and weren't supposed to be in my bottle, which could have ended in tragedy if I didn't notice they were not mine! This happened under this new pharmacist's employment too! I was also on hold for over 37 minutes before someone answered the CVS customer relations complaint line! On a Saturday? See Photo! Techs can never help you or find items you need behind their counters, so they say they ran out when I can clearly see them myself! Biggest bunch of incompetents I've ever seen are here!

Desired outcome: Terminate this Pharmacist at once!
