This morning, 10/21/2020 I visited the Tim Hortons @ Maple and John R located in Troy, MI. I ordered a Large Dark Roast Double Double through the drive thru. When I got to the window and paid, I was handed a Medium coffee.
I informed the girl working the window that I ordered a large and I believe I was charged for a large but I received a Medium coffee. She looked at me and said, "I DON'T KNOW". I had to ask her to double check what I was charged. If I paid for a medium then I would have been okay for the mix up.
She said I was charged for a large and proceeded to get me a large coffee. The employee turned around and dumped the medium coffee into a large cup and handed it back to me.
At that point I did not want to argue so I just drove away.
What has happened to customer service? Why can't people just apologize and say, "I'm so sorry. Let me take care of that for you."
I was very disappointed with this location. Since many of the locations in the Troy, MI area have been closed, I went to a location that I don't typically visit.
The best location is the Tim Hortons on Van [censored] and 18 Mile Rd. Very friendly people and fast service.
