The Pep Boys

I went to Pep Boys in Bel Air Maryland on Sunday September 24 to have four Cooper tires. They only had three in stock and had to order the other one. An appointment was set for Wednesday 10am, Sept. 27. My wife drops off the car promptly at 10am and returns two hours later and haven't started on the car. At the four mark they say the car is done and she goes to the counter to pay. She hands over the credit card and then reads invoice. She notices the invoice states Kuhmo tires and calls me to ask if I had changed the brand tire. I say no and to put the customer service on the phone. I tell him I didn't want those tires and to put my old ones back on and he said he can' do that. I asked what happened to the tires I ordered on Sunday and he said they were put on another car. I asked why he didn't call us and he says "The tires are equivalent to the Cooper tires I had ordered". That he not his decision to make and this is a perfect example of Bait and Switch. Store # 0198
