As I stood in line, by myself, no other customer around, being ignored for two minutes, the pharmacy decided to put the gate down in my face and tell me they were taking lunch for an hour. This is shortly after I had received a text telling me to come in to pick up my script. This action was totally disrespectful and inappropriate. I understand people need to take breaks, lunch, etc., having worked in retail setting for many years. Maybe this policy of shutting down the entire pharmacy for an hour lunch need to be revisited and instead stagger lunch/breaks like every other retail setting does. I am totally disappointed and disgusted with the customer service provide today.
Desired outcome: Change in lunch/ break policy of shutting entire pharmacy down for an hour in the middle of the day when for many people this is the only opportunity to run an errand to a CVS location.
