The Pep Boys - Motor mounts that were installed on my 2011 chevy silverado

February 16TH 2023 I brought my 2011 chevy silverado 1500 to the Pep Boy store at 6110 Sepulveda Blvd Van Nuys Ca. 91411 to have my motor mount and transmission mounts replaced. On August 14TH 2023 I was hearing a thumping noise from under the hood. With the hood open, I stepped on the breaks put the truck in drive, With my right foot I placed it on the gas pedal and accelerated. The engine moved up as the motor mount was broken. I called the Pep Boys store and talk to the parts and service lady, I asked if it was under warranty, she checked on that for me and came back on the phone and told me, because I did not buy the extended warranty that only the part would be covered. after that conversation I looked at the mounts that your company installed only to find that the heat shield was removedfrom the new motor mount. the exhaust manifold is less then 2 inches away from the motor mount and is heating the mount up making it weak enough for it to break. I call Sal Rodrigues the service manager three times. 8/15/2023 at 4:55 8/16/2023 at 12:12 and 8/17/2023 9:15 in the morning. He has not return my call, So I am turning to you for help with this problem.

The Pep Boys - Tire purchase and installation

I went to Pep Boys store #888 at 6110 Sepulveda Blvd. Van Nuys CA on July 8 2021, at approximately 9:30am to have 4 tires installed that I purchased online. My car is a 2018 Ford Edge SEL/EcoBoost FWD which I purchased new with 4 miles on it in April 2018. The tires that came with it were Michelin Latitude HP radials size 245 60R 18, and had never had any problems with TPMS sensors in 52000+ miles. Driving to my appointment, I checked the tire pressure, which I always do when starting out for the day, tire pressure read 37lb for ALL FOUR TIRES. No tire pressure warning lights or sensor failure messages. I checked in and about an hour and a half later the Pep Boys service guy, Vasken, told me that one of my TPMS sensors was "missing" LOL…how could it be missing after 52000 miles? The tires were removed in April 2018 to powder coat the wheels and since then were rotated with no other work done. Looking at the service order it said the sensor was missing upon arrival…. LOL, if it was missing it would give tire pressure warning light and sensor failure messages; which it did after I left the Pep Boys store to get another TPMS sensor programmed and installed at America's Tire in Northridge CA. Going out to the service bay, tire guy Jose said he took the tire off and the sensor was "gone"…he's not a very good liar. Jose either stole the sensor or he destroyed it taking the tire off, and since Pep Boys don't have TPMS sensors and can't program them, service guy Vasken told me that, it makes sense that they would lie about it and not take the responsibility to fix their problem. I spent over 2 hours and spent $86.70 at America's Tire 10235 Balboa Blvd. Northridge CA [protected] to fix Pep Boys damage to my car. It seems to me if there was a sensor issue they would have been up front about it…right from the start…"hey your tire pressure warning light is on and it's giving sensor failure messages…. or I would have told them about the tire pressure warning light at the initial paperwork setup at 9:30am (appt. was 10:00am). Noooo…. an hour and a half later after they started work on the tire replacement I'm told the"sensor is missing". I want to be compensated for my time and I want $86.70 reimbursement for the sensor I had to buy.

Desired outcome: I want compensation for my time to replace the sensor and I want reimbursement for cost of the sensor ..$86.70.
