Fairfield Inn and Suites - Front desk/ room service

Hello

I am sending this message with great concern and diss appointment. After checking out of the Fairfield in Lancaster CA on June 21st I noticed a $1.09 increase on my bill. Out of curiosity I called the front desk. They seemed irritated because they couldn’t figure it out. They told me they would call me back. They called me back and said they were going to charge me an extra $73 for damages, they say we left a mess and we can’t stay at their property anymore. The night before I asked the front desk for trash bags and I placed our trash in a trash bag but the front desk said it was a mess left and the she had photo proof ( which she never produced) I told her to explain to me what did I suppose to do because we left our towels in a pile for room service and the trash left in a trash bags. She just said we destroyed the room also the last night of our stay. My girlfriend was having some medical complications and her menestral cycle came on with heavy bleeding. She did bleed on the sheets but we tried to clean it but we also assumed room service would take care of it. I totally understand we are responsible if we damage some sheets that I thought a wash with bleach could take care of but to band us from the property is a bit extreme. This was my 1st time at your marvelous property with great hospitality to start but I really don’t know how such a great company have staff that has no regard for any health complications and want to band us from the property. This is very disturbing for me. I don’t want to believe this is what Marriott Bonvoy stands for. This experience has really given me a lasting impression but I don’t want to believe the whole company across the board would operate in such a way. The manager showed no remorse or compassion for us. She didn’t care about figuring out the overcharge but out of her frustration only strived to fine us and kick us off the property.

Is there any other way to resolve this matter. I look forward to hear from you
