1) In the last 18 months approx. Fry's automatic phone service calls my phone at all hours. I answer, and the phone just hangs up. I am then forced to call the pharmacy to see if there is a problem. Does Fry's not have the courtesy to leave a message to advise me of the reason for the call. I believe they feel that I will just divine the reason for the call. Very unprofessional. 2) More importantly, this concern. On Friday, Aug. 30 approx 1 p.m. I had to go to the pharmacy to check on a call from Fry's. See above. Fry's was giving inoculations. I was standing in the only line with 9 other customers. It appears they were understaffed this day. I overheard more than a few customers grumbling about the ridiculously long wait (2 people were in line for a second time.) I even let a disgruntled man step in front of me, as this was his second time to be in line. When it was my turn, I had to deal with a young man behind the counter, who was new and obviously flustered. It ended up that there was a prescription for me for metformin, something I didn't order. I tried to explain this to the young man, who responded with an arrogant answer that this med was on my auto refill list. Sirs, I don't use the auto refill choice. It appears by his actions and speech that he didn't want to be bothered by my answer. When I tried to explain, he very inappropriately cut me off. This is not customer service. At this time a young blond haired woman stepped in,
and started to berate me. She didn't identify herself, but by her actions, and speech, I could only assume she was a supervisor of some sort. After a bit more barking by her, I just decided to go away. I've observed this behavior by her 2 other times in the last year. This is unprofessional as can be. I suggest you censure her, or send her to manager training, as at least four other customers witnessed. At the least, she will be steering customers away.
Desired outcome: Censure this woman, send her to remedial training, or replace her.
