I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of accountability from Uber Eats South Africa. While placing an order, the Uber Eats app auto-filled a completely incorrect delivery address I’ve never used. I tried to correct the address immediately, but the order went through before I could change it.
I had no choice but to cancel the order as the delivery location was far from me. Despite this being a technical issue on their app’s side, I was still charged for the order.
I placed the exact same order again with the correct address, yet support refuses to refund me for the first order, blaming "preparation timing." This is unacceptable — the issue was entirely caused by their system.
I request a full refund for the order that was cancelled due to their app's error, and a proper resolution from Uber Eats South Africa.
