I really enjoy knowing that the meals I receive fit with my diet and that a doctor invented these meals plans and not some big company just after profits.

I like about 50% of the meals they have on their site. You do need to try a few of them out to see which ones are palatable. I do a mixture of BistroMD and some other frozen meals and then I keep them in my freezer.

I have to follow both a low sodium, low calorie ADA diet and other companies like Jenny Craig have too much sodium in their meals. Bistro MD is the only one I have found that has true low sodium meals that actually taste good.

I ended up losing $180, and there's nothing I can do about it. It's quite disappointing to have such a negative experience with a company that I had high hopes for. I feel like my trust has been betrayed, and I won't be recommending BistroMD to anyone.
Overall, I think it's important for companies to take responsibility for their mistakes and make things right for their customers. Unfortunately, BistroMD failed to do so in my case. I hope they can learn from this experience and improve their customer service in the future.

I was really hoping they would be more understanding and willing to work with me to find a solution, but it seems like they just don't care about their customers.
To make matters worse, the food itself was simply inedible. The meats were tough and stringy, making it nearly impossible to actually chew and swallow. The veggies were soggy and bland, lacking any sort of flavor or texture. There was even a pizza that looked absolutely terrible and a suspiciously looking mystery meatloaf that I couldn't bring myself to try. In the end, I ended up throwing away $100 worth of food because I just couldn't stomach it.
Overall, I would not recommend BistroMD to anyone looking for high-quality, chef-made meals. If this is the future of the food industry, then we are in trouble. It's a shame that a company with such potential has let their customers down in such a big way.
BistroMD Review: Disappointing Food and Messy Shipping Policy
The food is just not good and their shipping policy is a mess. I was so excited to try BistroMD, but my first delivery was a disaster. It didn't arrive until the following week, on Monday. And when I finally got to try the food, I was really disappointed. It just wasn't tasty at all.
So, I decided to cancel my account. I went to my on-line account and cancelled it on Monday. But then, on Tuesday, I got an email saying that my next shipment was in pre-shipment status. What? I thought I had cancelled it! I called the company and the operator told me that because I cancelled on-line, I couldn't cancel my next shipment. Apparently, I had to call in person to cancel it. How was I supposed to know that?
Now, I'm stuck with 20 meals that I can't eat. They're just sitting in my fridge, taking up space. I'm really disappointed with BistroMD. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Unauthorized charges for bistromd products I didn't order.
Unauthorized charged to my credit card. Did not order BistroMd products. Unable to contact them on phone stated close on December 24, 2022 (Sat). The day I received product. Charge for (2) boxes each for $207.30 in the month of December. Also, try online finally was able to do on chat. However, in order to get a explanation I was told to pay $1.00 and give all my credit card info. etc. Not sure why I had to pay when they already charged on my credit card. So to be safe I did not give out this information. Instead made this complaint. Also, contacted my credit card company let them know I will try on Monday to contact BistroMd to resolved this issue. Also, called FedEx to see I can return BistroMd product told me there might be a charge for return.
Desired outcome: Requesting refund on credit card as well as return receipt for product.

I decided to take small steps to a slow weight loss. I found BistroMD and have read all the reviews about it. I was surprised it had no bad reviews at all, so I thought it would be a great choice.
I ordered meals and upon its arrival, I understood it was terrible.
Yes, I am the one who's always "lucky". The food tasted like a toilet paper. Yes, I knew that food like this is specific, but not THAT much. I couldn't eat it and threw it away.
Disappointed...
