Goldbelly Fireman Derek's Chocolate Cookies were wonderful

Fireman Derek's Chocolate Cookies were wonderful. They were BIG and Thick and DELICIOUS with very generous pieces ((chips) of chocolate throughout the cookie. The cookies were a perfect texture, slightly soft and a little firm... enough to hold together well and delightful to bite into.
We also ordered a Chocolate Mud Pie from Little Pie. Wow! What a perfect treat. Heavenly chocolate flavor. Great brownie and pudding like texture with a slightly crunchy delicious thin chocolate pie crust.
I will say it again... PERFECT!

I was hesitant to order yet was intrigued with comments I read from others who have ordered. The Chocolate Mousse Cake was a gift to a friend going to undergo surgery and rather than send flowers, she, a chocolate lover, would much prefer something tasty to enjoy before and after her surgery. The cake was delivered within a few days just as the company stated and she said it is DELICIOUS! I am very pleased and would order this or other items again.
It is refreshing to receive a quality product that is advertised as such.

Goldbelly Easy ordering online

Easy ordering online. Delivered quickly. Great packaging - insulated box, very durable. Apple pie is in its box and in the freezer for future consumption. Pleased that we are able to freeze, hopefully, without affecting its deliciousness in the future. Have been very happy to have found Goldbelly - great venue to be introduced to many small food connoisseurs around the country. I have ordered from the Elegant Farmer as well as two other food specialists whose cake and handmade chicken/beef/spinach-feta pies were excellent.

Everything was great! The order was delivered to my Nephew right on time; it was a surprise gift. He was elated. His exact words were "I can't even tell you how happy this made me. Jim's Steaks are my absolute favorite sandwich. They are so delicious and these tasted just as if I was there eating them. He lives in western PA but went to college in Philadelphia. Once a year he travels there just to have these Steaks. Thank you! It's a great feeling knowing that during these rough times I was able to put a smile on his face.

Most care. I could see how special it had been packed. Every frosting rose petal was in perfect
Condition. It looked like a picture on a magazine
Cover. I was thrilled! The cake itself was amazing.
The lemon and raspberry filling was delicious. The
Cake itself was full of flavor and extremely moist.
Everyone loved it. I was a very Happy hostess.
It was my first experience with your Company.

Goldbelly I'm so happy I found Goldbelly

I'm so happy I found Goldbelly. I have already told friends & family how great you are and Kenny & Ziggy's Delicatessen in Houston Texas was so excellent, tasted amazing. The packing was perfect, everything was very cold definitely at temperature it should be and we are reusing it for when we go food shopping. The package came earlier in the day then we were expecting, that was great too. My husband and I will definitely order from Kenny & Ziggy's and Goldbelly again. This made us so happy in such scary times. That's what good food does!

Goldbelly Super fast delivery! Yay Carlo's Bakery and Goldbelly!

I just wanted to say KUDOS to Carlos Bakery! My Mother's birthday is April 25th and I ordered a cake on the Wednesday before. I didn't think anyone was making let alone shipping cakes during this pandemic but not only was Carlos on it, but the cake is expected TODAY (it's Friday 4/24!)! I cannot say enough about this bakery! Thank you all so much for helping make my mom's birthday special during these terrible times. She is 83 tomorrow! I ordered the Chocolate Mousse cake for her! Thanks again to Buddy and the team! You made this Long Island Family VERY happy!

Goldbelly Both of my orders were not delivered for Mother's Day

Both of my orders were not delivered for Mother's Day.
The Menlo Park order when delivered was great. However the order to Colebrook went very poorly. We didn't get notice of shipping. Unfortunately my daughter in law father passed away. They had to go to Rochester for the funeral. When they returned there Lobster mac was there for a few days. They tried to contact you via email and they are still waiting for a response. Please advise me what you plan to do. It's on my Amex account. I am a charter member since 1958. If it is not resolved I will ask for a refund

Pretty smooth process and everything arrived when expected. I've never ordered frozen cakes online and wasn't entirely sure how they would taste, but can i just say Rave Reviews! The Doberge cake in particular was exceptionally good. I had planned to order direct from the bakery till their website froze while i was trying to choose shipping options, so i was glad to see their products on your website. Also appreciated the 2-for-1 flash sale on an item i'd already planned to buy; i gave the 2nd king cake to my neighbors, knowing their young daughter would have a blast decorating it herself

Goldbelly Awesome

I find Goldbelly as I surfed the internet for a chocolate cream cake and I found Carousel Chocolate Mousse Supreme Cake and the Key Lime Pie. I ordered both ftom the Goldbelly site and I am impressed beyond measure. Both items arrived according to the time I was told they would be and they were oth packed carefully and securely and still frozen due to the dry ice. The Chocolate Mousse Supreme Cake was not only beautiful to look at, but it is delicious, the chocolate layer on the outside and the cake and chocolate mousse on the inside create a melting pot of flavors that play in your mouth and have you craving for more. The Key Lime Pie has this crunchy crust and this fluffy key lime filling that one may find theirselves eating slowly soas to prolong the tasting experience. I am so glad to have found the Goldbelly site. Also, the Chocolate Mousse Supreme Cake and the Key Lime Pie taste- Homemade and I felt and tasted the time that was put into both items. Thank you Carousel for an oustanding Cake and Pie and thank you Goldbelly for the care in shipping my order so that it seemed it came straight from the bakers hands to my table seamlessly.

Goldbelly I ordered a gallon of sour pickles from Guss Pickles

I ordered a gallon of sour pickles from Guss Pickles. It was delivered very quickly, packaged in a a bucket. The pickles were absolutely deliciously crisp. It reminded me of those barrel pickles many many years ago in the lower east side. You could get one for a dime. Bring your own container and save. Those that I received were exactly the same as my memory provides. My mouth waters at the thought. Obviously Guss and Goldbelly have brought their expertise to a science. They also last a long time in the refrigerator….. well, not if you gobble them quickly.

I filed a complaint and requested charge back from my credit card company because Goldbelly wouldnt respond to my request. I ordered alcohol ice cream for a friend, it was delayed by *** by 3 days, the order was destroyed and they only offered my 1/2 credit. I disputed the charge but ultimately agreed to the 1/2 credit back. I was then listed on Badcustomer.com which led me to being Blacklisted from many online shopping venues. Unbelievable!

Delivered expired goods went back and forth with them with zero resolution. Will NEVER use or recommend Goldbelly to anyone ever. Poor customer service, don't even try to argue if anything goes wrong they take zero accountability. Which is a shame for the businesses under their belt because they wouldn't address issues this way, its just Goldbelly. Their fine print cover their *** so no matter what you say in that tiny long a*** letter, they are covered. They will repeat themselves at nauseum.

BUYER BEWARE - I purchased a lobster and crab package on Black Friday using their "e-gift delivery service" - the recipient is notified of your gift on a date you choose and can arrange delivery for a later date. The gift was a surprise for a Christmas party with group of friends, primarily to honor a friend in ailing health (partial lower paralysis). When the recipient was notified of the gift 2 weeks later, the product I purchased was no longer available on Goldbelly's site. In short, you can purchase a specific product, but there's NO guarantee they'll actually HAVE or deliver that actual product! What's the point of purchasing a gift they can't deliver?! NEVER use this service - it's completely terrible and I'm not sure I understand how it's legal for them to take your money for a specific product but be unable to deliver the actual product when the time comes to do so; especially around Xmas. The remaining products on their site are not even close to what I purchased, since everything is now picked over. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID TO RELY ON THIS COMPANY TO DELIVER WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL; they do not care and will do very little to make the situation right.

Placed an order on 12/10 for delivery date of 12/22 ( for Christmas). This order did not even ship out until late on 12/23. Just checked today (12/24) and its still in the nyc metro area. Estimated delivery is 12/27 so 5 days late and completely pointless as it was for Christmas desert. Worse is I couldnt even get a response from their customer service department.

I have been a customer of Goldbelly for nearly 4 years now and have always received exceptional service. They are quick to help and the food shops they represent are fantastic in quality and service. Whenever I need a special dessert or am craving a specific item from past travels I go to Goldbelly and place an order. The option to schedule delivery for a particular day is awesome. Especially in these times of a global pandemic I will continue to utilize Goldbelly for their outstanding service and a great way to support food businesses that we really enjoy.

I used to use them for everything!NOT ANYMORE!Worst company customer service ever (notable exception is a women named Diamond that should be promoted.)For Thanksgiving I ordered over $600.00 with of items from them for be delivered yesterday and today (Thanksgiving being tomorrow.) All of the side dishes were to be delivered already, but did not arrive nor will they be delivered. Their initial solution was to claim no responsibility, blame only the vender and refund the money.Of course, even a terrible company like them wouldnt hold on to money for food never arriving. Some pathetic whining voice (not awesome Diamond who should work for a better place) said all she could do was a $100.00 credit. Too afraid of her own shadow to go up the food chain (no pun intended.) she was so incompetent she couldnt intellectualize the ruining of Thanksgiving, but let it slip they new of the issue for several days, but no one was notified.Upon being asked to return to management bc that was insufficient after spending thousands of dollars just this year, she refused to do so (even though that is her job), did not process the refund and hung up on me. Worst customer service agent ever, Thanksgiving dinner ruined and this is not the first time they have messed up. They have delivered to the wrong place, missed delivery dates and delivered packages with missing items before. They are an incompetent second hand mailer that is a national DoorDash. People would be better served going directly to the providers in each state for delivery. Better control, updates and access without *** poor customer service and ruined holidays.Had the had the basic decency to notify their customers in time to make other arrangements it would have been on thing (problems arise), but they didnt appreciate their customers enough to do the bare minimum.You would think they would have used other vendors, at their cost especially for families like mine in a place like *** to keep customers.NEVER EVER USE!

If I could give 0 stars I would. A local bakery that has been my go to for coconut cake recently closed. A month ago I decided to splurge and order a coconut cake through Goldbelly for our Thanksgiving meal. I carefully selected a delivery date that was within their recommended range and two days prior to Thanksgiving. I received shipping details that the cake was en route for on time delivery. No cake. Woke up this morning, Thanksgiving day, with an updated delivery date of tomorrow. Too little too late. Scrambling for a back up when stores are closed. Have sent emails to customer service however however at this point I am out of luck. I am confident they will blame *** however at the prices they charge I expect them to stand by the entire process from order to delivery. Will be pursuing a full refund and will never use this company again.

I would give Goldbelly negative stars if I could. Very DISAPPOINTED in both the company and product. I ordered a fried turkey for our Thanksgiving dinner. First of all, the description said that it was *** lbs able to feed at a minimum 10 people. It also said the size could vary which I was prepared for. It came and it was a lot smaller at 8 lbs, no were nearly able to feed 10 adults. I contacted the company and their solution was a an offer of $15 off of my next $50 purchase.The turkey was to be fully cooked and after being fully thawed needed to only be warmed for about 1 1/2 hrs. We did that and the turkey was close to raw as the skin was pale and the meat, pink to red. There was no way this turkey had been fried prior. We ended up going to the store and buying steaks for dinner. This was my first time ordering from Goldbelly and it will be my last!

The day I received the email from Goldbelly that Duff was now shipping cakes, I ordered immediately. I ordered the Vanilla Birthday Cake, and it arrived in perfect condition; and it is so delicious, moist, and everything I remember from the last time I had Duff's cake in LA. If you want a cake that looks lovely and is so delicious, it's addictive, order a Duff Goldman Cake. You won't be able to stop eating it—one of my favorite things to eat.

Hello. I just received the JFK's wedding cake about an hour ago. I LOVE THIS CAKE! It is so moist and delicious. The cake is also beautiful. Perfect for serving to company. The buttercream is not too sweet. The pink rosettes melted a little bit, but I live in *** so that is to be expected. That did not take away the great flavor. It is also just the right size and was delivered when Goldbelly said it would be delivered. I will definitely order from Goldbelly again. Thank for such a delicious and lovely cake.

I ordered 50 Anchor Bar wings from Goldbelly. They came defrosted and were warm. I called Anchor Bar to ask them if they would be okay and the man on the phone said to just put them in the freezer, which I found confusing since they were already warm. He assured me they would be okay. I made the wings the next day and they were bad, no flavor, no spice. I also received 6 *** Apizza's from Goldbelly again they were bad. The cheese tasted like cardboard. I reached customer service and they said they would give me a $15.00 credit towards something else on Goldbelly. $15.00? Are you kidding me? I paid over $200 for this order and this is all they could do for me? Never again will I buy from Goldbelly. Their customer service is horrible and the food did not satisfy my expectations whatsoever. I will never buy from this company again. My two orders were over $300.00. The cake was great and so were the soups but the wings and pizza's were bad.

This Goldbelly business is an absolute scam. I wish I could give 0 stars instead of 1 because that is how worthless it is. The only reason we ever thought of using it was because we got a $120 dollar coupon for it from my company. I would have rather they had given us a coupon for a local restaurant because we could have gotten much more of quantity and quality in food. 120 dollars barely makes a dent in the ridiculously expensive costs and SHIPPING FEES. The packaging it came in was cheap and terrible, and the dumplings we ordered were on the verge of disintegrating and were completely tasteless. A complete and utter disappointment. The dumplings we got from *** were ten times better and so much cheaper. The fact that you cannot get a refund for this disgusting food is incomprehensible and horrible. Do not trust this website as it is a scam and not worth it AT ALL.

My family loves key lime pie so I decided to surprise my daughter and son-in-law with one from Goldbelly. Based on the reviews, I chose ***. When I asked the kids if they enjoyed the pie, they reluctantly said it was so tart that they could not eat it. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.

Goldbelly Goldbelly is just wonderful

Goldbelly is just wonderful. There's rarely, if ever, a complaint about them. If something does go wrong, which is rare, their Customer Service is totally outstanding. They listen to whatever the problem is, and get right on top of it with a solution. They go by old business ethics, where the customer is important and they handle dealing with you in a professional, efficient manner. Things can go wrong in any business, but it's how the problem is handled that builds your customer base, and Goldbelly has all those bases covered. Would I recommend them? Most definitely. ***.

I want to give no stars. I placed an order for a pie from this company a week in advance. They had plenty of time figuring logistics, etc for proper shipping and handling the care of a perishable. They ordered was supposed to be delivered the Friday before Father's *** They started it had been shipped arrived in *** warehouse in Ausrin. It sat all weekend in warehouse. It was delivered the day after Father's day on Monday. My father in law stated it was not frozen, no ice packs, no dry ice. When I placed ordered it stated once delivered need to be consumed with a few day window. The days of shipped to delivered was four days. I had my father in law throw it away. I did not feel it was safe to eat. I contacted business regarding to the delay on Saturday no one call they sent an email stating you would be contacted within *** hours. I was contacted via e-mail Tuesday afternoon. We called Monday and sat holding 30 minutes then they disconnected call. They offered as resolution to send another pie or credit. No thank you why would I want another pie if your initial intention had to concern for the safety of food handling or consumption. I am disappointed and disgusted!

I placed an order for a very special dinner for my husband and I. I received an email saying that it would be delivered this past Wednesday which it was not. Thursday it was delivered completely thawed and hot I had to throw it out. How disappointing I was as I am completely disabled and cannot *** and I thought this would be something very special for my husband and a delayed Fathers Day. I am seeking a full refund for the money that was taken from my account. What a disappointment it was this I listen to the food programs on TV every day. Having travel to *** in the month of May and experiencing the wonderful foods I figured this would be a top order from the comfort food restaurant a barbecued beef and macaroni. Needless to say I am fairy Disappointed and hope that I can receive my money back.

I purchased the Muffaletta sandwich from ***. That sandwich arrived, it look like something came from a gas station. Hardly any meat, just Pitiful. I did contact Goldbelly, and the customer service representative told me the picture is dressed up for sales.I WAS SHOCKED THAT CAME OUT OF HER MOUTH. SHE DID ADMIT IT. SAD BUT VERY TRUE. That sandwich was $99 dollars and they offered me $25 off my next order. I also noticed on Goldbelly website they only have good reviews but if you research they have so many negative reviews. They do not post their negative reviews ON their site. This company is a complete rip off. They do not deserve that one star. A big red flag, take a look at their return policy. Goldbelly WILL ONLY SAY SORRY. IN OTHER WORDS, WE HAVE YOUR MONEY BYE. ?First time ordering MOST Definitely WILL BE THE LAST TIME

Very poor customer service and a business I will avoid. I received a food package from ***/*** with cracked and open containers spilling putrid food throughout the box. Goldbelly repeatedly requested pictures which I sent three times and the haphazard Goldbelly staff acknowledged they had somehow missed my replies, I received a lecture from Goldbelly staff on how to reply to Goldbelly. Next they suggested I give the seller *** a second chance and I declined. I asked for a refund and then Goldbellys response was as putrid as the leaking food sent to me. Goldbelly NEVER provides a refund under their terms of service, only a time expiring credit toward another purchase. So although I have spent $1000s at Goldbelly throughout the pandemic, I will not again be a customer of this arrogant business.

We had such a splendid time with *** and *** from Goldbelly. Chris is humble and gracious and oh, so talented. *** is an enthusiastic host and convener of the class. I will definitely look for more opportunities like this with Goldbelly. Two weeks after Chris’ Zoom class on Goldbelly, I ordered a birthday dinner for my son in the Bay area from Wayfarer Tavern through Goldbelly, and he and his family thought it was spectacular. It is very one thing I have to be grateful for during these Covid days, because it just totally helped me escape politics and disease for 90 minutes. Many many thanks.

In these trying times where I can't get out to go to the Restaurants when I want, the convenience of having the Chef of the finest Restaurants come to me at home is so very valuable! When we think of a special occasion, we usually think of Goldbelly. Ribs from St. Louis have become a tradition for one family member's birthday, Boston Cream Pie for another's birthday cake. Lobster from Maine for Memorial Day. We can no longer make the trips to these memorable places, but we can experience the memories through the wonderful foods. NYC pizza and bagels are smiles with every mouthful. If there is an issue with an order, Goldbelly takes care of it. The latest Goldbelly smile was in the box of lobster from McLoons in Maine; they packed pieces of salt water taffy from a local Maine company in the box that brought back even more memories!

The cheesecakes were sent to a Texan who has always wanted a real New York cheesecake. I went online to find a company that would ship these perishable cheesecakes safely. I was thrilled to find out that Goldbelly shipped Junior's Cheesecakes. As a New Yorker, I knew that Junior's is the real deal so I placed the order immediately even though I wanted to wait for the holidays. I knew they would dig into one right away and put one in their freezer. I know the recipient and his family will enjoy these and will no doubt reorder. Goldbelly's customer service was very responsive and on top of everything. I will certainly be placing more orders. Thank you, Goldbelly!

There was an initial glitch with my order delivery date and when I inquired about it, the staff at Goldbelly responded with an immediate plan of action to find out why my package hadn't shipped yet and not only that but they had taken steps to ensure I still got my delivery on time for my husband's birthday. I was very impressed with their timely responses--ALWAYS a response within 2 hours of my sending an email and their ability to rectify this situation. Because of that, I will be sure to recommend Goldbelly to whomever I know and will not hesitate in using them again. I felt like a real person/customer---not just a faceless order or a name on an email. Thank you Goldbelly!

GOLDBELLY - CAROLINE'S CAKES 7-LAYER CARAMEL CAKE
I received a $100 gift card as a gift to use a Goldbelly. This was my first, and last experience with Goldbelly.

First, I was shocked to discover that this company has a high markup on most items. So, for the vendors I wanted to try, I purchased directly from them instead. Example, a single package of boudin sausage is $10.99, before shipping, but that same package is $45 at Goldbelly.

Second, the $25 shipping fee is PER merchant! So, if one wants to order a cake from one merchant and pizza from another merchant, the shipping fee is still $25 EACH! Now that the holiday season has arrived, the shipping fee has increased to $30-$40 regardless if one wants a further shipping date.
As for my actual order, even after using a $15 promo code, which enticed me to finally use the gift card, I placed an order for Caroline's 7-Layer Caramel Cake as it was the same price that the vendor charges.

The cake arrived on time, cold, packed well but with a single, small, already melted ice pack. The cake itself was smaller than the promo pics. The cake was just 3-inches tall. The width, in my opinion, reminded me of two partially-filled 8-inch wide cake pans. Then sliced with a multi-layer cake slicer. The layers were uneven and much thinner than the promo pics. The cake itself was not dense enough to hold the caramel. The caramel was gritty. Within 40 minutes of the suggested thawing time, the caramel slid off half of one side of the cake.
The cake was not good at all. I had two bites of a $75.00 cake ($65+$25 shipping - $15 promo). The rest of my family had one bite.
The next morning, the cake was a mushy, wet mess with broken down, goopy caramel that slid off all sides of the cake. This was a crisp Midwestern October 2021 morning. The cake went into the trash after I took photos. These photos are meme-worthy 'what I asked for vs what I got'.

I contacted Goldbelly support the same morning. They didn't care. The rep emailed an entire lecture about the high quality of their brand, how much others like their cake orders, it couldn't be them/the vendor, etc.

The rep gave me a $15 promo good within the 30 days of my complaint. This doesn't even cover shipping. So, I have $15 remaining on the gift card that I can't reasonably use due the marked-up prices and obvious uncertainty of quality.

Please do not give this as a gift card.
It's a waste of your money. It's frustrating for the person redeeming it because even as generous as your $100 gift is, it won't go far with this company. Goldbelly ends up with free $15 in their pocket in unused balances.

Goldbelly Terrible Customer Service

So Friday was my Mom's birthday. I try to find unique things to send her because she is getting older and when she wants something she'll generally buy it for herself.
Well I thought I'd found it! This website... goldbely.com has so many amazing looking treats! It's pricey, sure, but I don't mind paying for it if the stuff looks and tastes good, right? So I ordered these amazing looking ice cream bars that were coming from a company called #Coolhaus. I made sure that they would be there by Friday and the site said Friday delivery was included in the price. Then some cookies caught my eye. These were from a bakery called #Monica'sGourmetCookies. Again I needed them Friday... those I had to pay an extra $15 to make sure they would be delivered on Friday but I did that. Oh I almost forgot. The cost of the 6 ice cream bars was $79. The cookies were $45 plus the extra $15 to guarantee Friday delivery $60. So all told my total was $139 which was promptly removed from my checking account because I used PayPal to pay for it - because I was sitting on the couch and didn't want to go get my purse to grab a credit card and they took PayPal so why not.
So Friday came and I called my Mom super early in the morning, on my way in to work, to wish her a happy birthday. I also told her that I was really excited about the gift that I sent her. I let her know it would be showing up that day and that I'd call her again after work.
I called after work to find out that she received the cookies. She said they were beautiful. Almost too pretty to eat. BUT she tried a peanut butter one and it was delicious! Thanks to Monica's Gourmet Cookies!
I said well what about the other thing. She said that's all there was. I checked my order and found that the ice cream bars were not shipped. The order was "processing". The order for my Mom's birthday that was supposed to be delivered that day at no extra charge (haha) wasn't even packed or shipped. The $79 ice cream bars!
And it was a Friday, after I got off work. So of course I could not get any customer service until Monday.
The customer service at #Goldbely is marginal at best. I tried calling, you wait on hold for a few minutes and then you are prompted to leave a voicemail or send an email because they're very busy. Next, I tried the chat feature on their website. The chat window states that they typically reply in under 5 minutes. After 15 minutes I sent an email because I thought maybe it was broken. After about 50 minutes, someone from the chat sent me an email that started "Hi Michael, So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've reached out to the shop..." I had already received an email from someone saying they would check to see what was going on but I did reply to say 1. My name is Mary not Michael 2. You should consider changing the expectations your setting for your customer when you tell them that you typically respond in under 5 minutes when it's actually taking you 50 minutes to respond.
On to the email... I sent the email at 11:15am-ish. I emailed again at 2:45pm because I hadn't heard back. I said I expected to hear back that day and anticipated them telling me they'd be sending the bars out that day. Still no reply.
Finally, I received a reply at 8:00pm and it said:
Hi Mary,
Sorry for the delay. We were working with Coolhaus to have your order shipped today and they were able to. You can follow it via this FedEx tracking code:
1234566
Sorry again for the delay and please let me know if you have any other questions.

THATS IT! So no explanations. No nothing. I find this unacceptable. Maybe because I work for an exceptional company that provides exceptional customer service every time, no matter what, I expect the same. But I just think this was handled poorly. As a first time customer my impression of this company sucks! And I have a BIG mouth. Both good and bad. If I find something I like and it is good, I talk it up like crazy. But if I have a bad experience, like I feel this was, I will do the same. So I'm sorry #Goldbely but you lost me here. I think this was a crappy deal for some $79 ice cream bars!

I ordered on 12/7/21 from Goldbelly a Spiral Sliced Glazed Country Ham from *** and a Signature Whole Smoked Turkey from *** Smokehouse first of all It took them 6 days to ship out my order. Shipment on the 13th. The Ham was to arrive on the 14th then the Turkey on the 15th, neither deliver came as promise still on this day 12/19/21 no delivery for my Christmas order that I needed for the Christmas dinner. I as a New Customer having to experience this then was told that I have an account which I know nothing of just because I made 1 purchase for the first time they refused to refund me my total $253 said they'll only give me a refund for my Ham as a courtesy regardless if I don't get neither order. I still don't have the Turkey as promised in the time that was said. They said they will keep my money in my account and give me 90 days only to reorder then I will loose it if I don't use it. Said they cannot reimburse me because it already shipped but when I check the map with *** it shows still on the way but never out for delivery so is a standstill for me. And by the time I get it is not safe to eat these greedy people just want to keep my money and is very disappointed and troubling what I have to go through. I'm already going through some difficult times because I just lost my mother and now been manipulated as a Customer for my hard earn money and no delivery as promised. I asked them from day 1 to not store my credit card on their website to please delete it and they lied and said they will but to my knowledge they hadn't., because now I'm bind to some type of account they will keep my money regardless I told them I never planned on buying a second time with them after my first horrible experience I've had with my purchase. If I have to take this complaint at a higher level I will this is not good business practice I don't care what policy their now mention you only learn of the policy after making a purchase never seen it before. I want refund

I spent $120 on a ham according to its picture. What I received was entirely different. GOLDBELLY refused to allow me to send it back, despite repeated requests. They claim I got what I ordered. I sent picturesthey told me the ham was super flat due to the packaging. What a joke. Like a seal wrap can compress a ham into something resembling a skirt steak. (Pics are below)Now they are just ignoring me entirely. $120 is a small fortune for methis was suppose to be the focal point of our Christmas dinner, *** it sits in my fridge waiting to be shipped back. Now that they are ignoring me, I have NO CHOICES!

Recieved Christmas gift from my son X-mas 2022, of (2) Jewish Apple Cakes. Other than the title of the listing, "Jewish Apple" nothing evenly closely resembled a true 'Jewish Apple' cake. Product was awful! All dried out, NO Flavor, barely any apples, and the price I saw on website was criminal! On top of that they required my son to buy 2 cakes! Because of the shipping offered! WTF! These cottage industries prey on the unsuspecting, and a re a pure mennace, just a ripoff! The cake was no where the definition of a Jewish Apple Cake @ $45 each! WTF!

On 21 Dec 2022, I placed an order with Goldbelly at *** MST for a USDA Prime Black Angus Tenderloin Roast from *** Meats valued at $316.32 including taxes and Shipping and Handling for delivery on 24 December 22. I received a confirmation of shipping on 23 Dec 2022 at *** MST from *** Meats. On Monday, 26 Dec, I filled out an inquiry on their website because the recipient had not received the item and there was no shipment movement. I tried responding to their emails (as instructed) on the 27th of Dec and *** Since the item was raw meat, after consulting with *** meats and observation of the meat when it was received on 28 Dec, it had to be discarded. *** Meats said since the order was placed through Goldbelly, I would have to work any issues through them. I have not heard from Goldbelly at all.

Goldbelly Disappointing Experience with Goldbelly: Late Delivery and Poor Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Goldbelly that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I was excited to order lobster rolls and whoopie pies for my birthday dinner, and I paid $50 for expedited shipping to ensure that my order would arrive on time. Unfortunately, when I checked the tracking information, I saw that my order was not going to be delivered on my birthday. I immediately tried to contact Goldbelly, but when I called, I was greeted with a message stating that due to winter storms, they were not answering phone calls. Goldbelly stated that they cannot control the weather and only provide estimated shipping dates. They also refused to refund my expedited shipping fee, which I found to be unacceptable. I had paid a significant amount of money to ensure that my order would arrive on time, and it was not my fault that the weather had caused delays.

To make matters worse, I had also ordered pizzas from Talia di Napoli at the same time as my Goldbelly order. The pizzas arrived from Italy with no issues, but the lobster from Goldbelly did not arrive on time. When I checked the box for delivery on February 24th and agreed to pay the expedited shipping fee, I did so with the understanding that my item would arrive on that specific date. However, my lobster sat in a Fedex warehouse for over 24 hours, which is not acceptable for such a perishable item.

Goldbelly Goldbelly Review: Disappointing Experience with Delayed Delivery and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase on Goldbelly, an online marketplace for gourmet food and gifts. I was excited to surprise my niece with a special Cake Boss rainbow cake for her birthday. I made sure to order it two weeks in advance and scheduled delivery for the day before her actual birthday to avoid any issues. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I found out that the cake was delayed.

To make matters worse, Goldbelly's customer service was only available through email and they used COVID as an excuse for not having phone reps. I found this to be unacceptable, as every other company I have dealt with during this trying time has had phone reps available. Despite my countless attempts to contact them, I was unable to get a response until it was too late.

As a result, I had to scramble to find a replacement for the cancelled party. I ended up buying the only cupcakes available in the grocery store on Saturday morning so my niece could at least have something to pass out to her friends doing drive by's. It was a disappointing experience, to say the least.

To add insult to injury, I finally received a response from Goldbelly telling me that they have no responsibility for deliveries being on time and that they do not offer refunds regardless of the condition of your purchase. They did offer me a credit, but I am hesitant to deal with their horrible service again.

I was surprised to find that there is no way to post a review on their site, which is a red flag in my opinion. After doing some research, I found countless reviews that were similar to mine. It's a shame because Goldbelly has a great selection of gourmet food and gifts, but their poor customer service and lack of responsibility for their deliveries make it hard to recommend them.

Goldbelly Goldbelly Review: Disappointing Experience with Shipping and Customer Service

Goldbelly is a website that offers food delivery services. I recently had an experience with them that left me feeling very disappointed. I had placed an order for a perishable item with the expectation of receiving it the next day with free shipping. However, when I went to place my order, I found out that the free shipping option was only available for delivery in two days. I decided to go ahead and select the two-day delivery option, assuming that I would still receive my order on time.

The next day, I became concerned when I had not received a tracking number for my order. I then started receiving emails from Goldbelly warning of shipping delays. To make matters worse, I received an email from FedEx saying that they had attempted delivery, which was not possible since I work from home and was there all day. When I contacted FedEx, they told me that there was "no safe place to leave the package," which I found odd since I was home all day and no delivery attempt was made.

I was then informed that my package would not be delivered until the following week, which meant that it would no longer be edible since it was a perishable item. Goldbelly Disgusting Experience with Goldbelly: Ess-a-bagel Order Review

I recently placed an order on Goldbelly.com for some delicious bagels, cream cheese, and lox from Ess-a-bagel of NY. The total cost of my order was $114.00. When the package arrived, I was excited to dig in, but unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. The cream cheese container was opened, and it looked like someone had already helped themselves to some of it. I was disgusted, and the recipient of my order was grossed out as well.

I immediately contacted Goldbelly to report the issue, and they told me that they had researched it with Ess-a-bagel. They claimed that the machine that puts the cream cheese in the container makes the cream cheese just look that way. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Even if this was the case, why would they think it's acceptable to send out a product that looks like someone has already eaten from it?

I asked for a refund and/or another order from a different bagel place. The eaten cream cheese had put a damper on our appetite, and we didn't want to risk eating anything else from the same order. Goldbelly offered to credit me for the cream cheese, but I didn't accept. I didn't want to waste hours trying to convince them to make the right decision.

In the end, I essentially just threw $114.00 out the window and was embarrassed in front of my friend who received the order. I'm not surprised at Goldbelly/Ess-a-bagel's decision. It seems like many companies these days are more concerned with keeping money in the short term rather than creating long-term relationships with their customers. Unfortunately, this decision reflects the same attitude that brings down service-oriented businesses every day.

I won't be ordering from Goldbelly again, and I won't be recommending them to anyone in the future. If they continue to make decisions like this, it's only a matter of time before they go under. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to enjoying some delicious bagels, cream cheese, and lox from Ess-a-bagel of NY.

Goldbelly Goldbelly Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Delayed Delivery of PieCacken

I was super pumped to get my hands on the PIeCacken from Goldbelly for Thanksgiving. I had a dozen foodies coming from all over the country to chow down at my Thanksgiving table for the first time in two years! The price tag of $100 seemed fair for a cake that combines a bunch of desserts and looks so darn pretty. This dessert is so stunning that I even gave it its own table with a cake pedestal so that people could gawk at it once it was sliced. Since my guests were all foodies, I knew it would be a great conversation starter.

I scheduled for the cake to arrive on November 23rd, but that day came and went without any sign of the cake, no email, no notification, no tracking number online, and no one picking up the customer service line. I sent an email and crossed my fingers, hoping for a response. November 24th rolled around, and still no word from Goldbelly. I was able to snag some pies at the local market, so all was not lost, but it wasn't the Thanksgiving dinner I had envisioned.

Finally, in the late afternoon on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I received a response from Goldbelly that the manufacturer was experiencing a delay. My PieCacken wouldn't be arriving until a week later. To make up for the inconvenience, they offered me a $15 credit if I spent $99. I told them I didn't need the pumpkin pecan pie cake after Thanksgiving (seriously?), and I didn't want a discount on a new purchase. The customer service was just plain bad all around.

If you're going to order from Goldbelly, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to receive your item and have a backup plan in case it doesn't arrive. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience, and I wouldn't recommend Goldbelly to my friends.

Goldbelly Goldbelly Review: Disastrous Father's Day Gift and Poor Customer Service

My daughter sent a gift to my husband for Father's Day through Goldbelly, and I must say, it was a complete disaster. The gift was supposed to be a kit to make a dozen cannoli, which we were excited to share with our family on Father's Day. However, when we received the package, we were disappointed to find that the ingredients were so hot that the chocolate chips meant to roll them in had melted into a chocolate soup. The large tube of ricotta cheese was also much warmer than room temperature, and the cold pack was completely melted and warm. In short, the gift was completely useless.

My daughter and I tried to contact their customer service to see if they could re-ship the package by Father's Day, as it was only 5 pm on Friday. However, all we received was a confirmation that they received our comments and would reply in 1-3 business days. We finally heard back on Tuesday, and all they offered was to re-ship the package or give us a Goldbelly credit. We declined as the purpose of the gift had passed, and requested that they refund the purchase to my daughter's credit card. However, they informed us that they have a no refund policy and could only give us a credit to use at a future date.

So, if you plan to buy something from Goldbelly, be careful. You can spend a small fortune and receive something completely worthless, with no recourse to get your money back. It was a lesson learned for us.

However, I must say that since I submitted this review, Goldbelly did end up completely refunding my daughter's payment. But, it was only after I told them that I was contacting the Better Business Bureau. Until that point, they were only going to give us a credit with them.

Overall, I would caution anyone against using Goldbelly. While they may have some good products, their customer service and refund policies leave a lot to be desired.

Goldbelly Goldbelly Review: Disappointing Service and Lack of Responsibility

I ordered something from Goldbelly that was supposed to be delivered by Christmas, but unfortunately, they dropped the ball and didn't take responsibility for anything after that. One item was shipped to my recipient, but the other never arrived. I had to find out on my own much later by asking the person, otherwise, I would never have known that the item was never shipped. When I told Goldbelly about this obvious problem in January, they said they could cancel the order or ship it. What kind of service is that? That's what they do every single day, take your order or don't take your order. What the hell kind of way is that to treat someone whose money you've been holding for nearly two weeks?

Yes, I am aware that I can place an order at any time, but thank you for continuing to offer me the opportunity to hand you my cash while you either ship or don't ship what you promised. Way to go Goldbelly, above and beyond. And remember, when someone orders from you, they either DO or DO NOT want you to ship something somewhere to someone. It's anybody's guess. Thanks for giving me back MY MONEY. I will never use this childish excuse for a business again.

If they ask you to explain what you're mad about, don't fall for it. It's a trap to waste your time while they pat themselves on the back for refunding you for a non-existent product. I mean, thanks for not further breaking the law. You shouldn't even charge people for unshipped products. That's common practice, and I am now reporting you to the FTC since you have continually bothered me to describe my story to you while you pretend you handled it.

In conclusion, Goldbelly's lack of responsibility and poor customer service has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service.

Goldbelly Goldbelly's Late Delivery and Unsafe Packaging Ruined My Pizza Experience

I am beyond frustrated with my recent experience with Goldbelly. I had placed an order for some delicious pepperoni pizzas that were supposed to arrive on Thursday May 13th, 2021. However, the package only arrived on Sunday May 16th, 2021, a whopping three days late! To make matters worse, the boxes were soaking wet, there was no dry ice in the packages, and the bags were empty. It was clear that the packaging was not able to keep the food cold and safe during the extended delivery time.

Upon opening the pizza packets, we found condensation inside, and the pizzas were inedible. It was clear that the food was not safe to consume, and we had to throw them away. This is completely unacceptable. Why would Goldbelly even bother delivering perishable items to us if they knew the food would be dangerous to consume? This seems like a major health and safety violation.

To make matters worse, this is the second time that I have received wet and soggy food from Goldbelly. It is not okay to treat customers this way. When Goldbelly sent a message saying that the pizzas would be delivered days later than expected, they should have sent out a new delivery to us that day. They must have known that the products would be inedible and dangerous when they eventually arrived.

My family and I were really looking forward to these pizzas, and to receive them in this state is terrible. I am grateful that I had the common sense not to bake and serve them to my family. When Goldbelly sent the delayed email, they should have included a warning that the items should not be consumed as they now violate health and safety regulations.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Goldbelly. This is the second time that I have received soggy and inedible food, and it is completely out of order. Goldbelly needs to take responsibility for their mistakes and ensure that their customers receive safe and delicious food.

Goldbelly Goldbelly Review: Tasty Cupcakes, Overpriced and Unreliable Delivery, Disappointing Customer Service

I was really excited to try out Goldbelly for my daughter's birthday. I wanted to make sure that we had some delicious cupcakes and a cake to celebrate her special day. I carefully selected two bakeries and placed my order, hoping that everything would arrive in time.

The good news is that the cupcakes did arrive and they were pretty good. They weren't amazing, but they were definitely tasty. However, I do have to say that they were a bit overpriced. But hey, I guess that's the price you pay for having special food shipped across the country.

Unfortunately, the second cake never arrived. It's been three days since my daughter's birthday and there's still no sign of it. I checked the tracking information and there's no estimated delivery date. It's like the cake never even existed. When I contacted Goldbelly customer service, they told me that the cake hadn't been sent until the morning of the birthday party. I didn't see the email until a few hours later and by then it was too late. I asked if the order could be canceled, but it took eight hours for them to reply. By that time, it was too late.

While the customer service person did use some sympathetic phrases, the overall message was pretty clear: tough luck. Goldbelly takes zero responsibility for when items ship or what happens to them after that. This is a pretty craptastic customer service model, especially considering that their entire business is based on shipping special food across the country for events and dinners.

I was planning on ordering 200 buffalo wings from Anchor Bar for the Super Bowl, but now I'm not so sure. Who knows when they'll arrive? I've learned that there are zero guarantees when it comes to Goldbelly. It's a shame, because I really wanted to like this service.

Goldbelly Unleashing the Power of Creativity: A Review of 'The War of Art' by Steven Pressfield

I ordered on 12/7/21 from Goldbelly a
Spiral Sliced Glazed Country Ham from Loveless Cafe and a Signature Whole Smoked Turkey from Lockhart Smokehouse first of all It took them 6 days to ship out my order. The Ham was to arrive on the 14th then the Turkey on the 15th, neither deliver came as promise still on this day 12/19/21 no delivery for my Christmas order that I needed now for the Christmas dinner. I as a New Customer having to experience this then told that I have an account which I know nothing of just because I made 1 purchase for the first time they refused to refund me my total $253 said they'll only give me a refund for my Ham as a courtesy regardless if I don't get my Turkey in time said I need to reorder from them because it already shipped but when I check the map with FedEx it shows still on the way but never out for delivery so is a standstill for me. And by the time I get it is not safe to eat these greedy [censored] people just want my money is very disappointed and disrespectful to manipulate a Customer for their money and no delivery as promised. I asked them from day 1 to not store my credit card on their website to please delete it they lied and said they will but to my knowledge they hadn't., because now I'm bind to some type of account and they will keep my money regardless. I told them I never planned on buying a second time with them after my first horrible experience I've had with my purchase. If I have to take this complaint at a higher level I will this is no good business practice I don't care what their policy shows you only learn of the policy after making a purchase never seen it before.
