Refund for cancellation not received
I have been a regular customer of UberEats and I have never experienced any issues until recent. I made an order of $50.37 on the 27th April. The order was cancelled by the merchant and I was told that I would receive a refund for the same but I have yet to see the refund processed. I have attempted to reach out to UberEats several times via chat and phone, but the chats and calls keep getting disconnected, leaving the issue unresolved.
After multiple attempts, one of your customer service agents informed me that the transaction doesn't reflect on the system and that I would be transferred to another department to address the issue. She said I will be receiving a follow up email regarding the issue. However, I never received an email or call regarding the matter. While drafting this email, I attempted to locate the chat on my UberEats app, but was unable to find it.
This morning, I attempted to contact customer service again and spoke with a representative named Chahit (screenshot of the chat attached below). Unfortunately, Chahit informed me that a refund cannot be issued as it has been more than 48 hours since the cancellation. To make matters worse, Chahit abruptly ended the chat, stating that he had provided the best possible resolution and there were no further options available to address my issue. I felt as though someone had slammed the door shut in my face. I have contacted customer service several times before, and I have never experienced anything like this. Normally, the representatives have been great and have never ended a chat without asking if the issue was resolved or if there was anything else they could do to assist. In addition to the frustration of being charged for something I never received, I found the representative's behavior to be extremely rude and unprofessional.
I attempted to resolve this issue by calling UberEats customer service twice this morning and explained the situation to both representatives. The first representative heard me out and put me on hold to check my account. Unfortunately, the call got disconnected while on hold. I called again and spoke with another representative who essentially said the same thing and put me on hold as well. I explained to her that my calls and chats were getting disconnected multiple times and requested that she contact me if the system dropped my call again. She agreed, but I never received a call.
As an employee myself, I understand that time is valuable, and I cannot spend my entire day trying to resolve a $50 problem by calling and seeking help. Like all representatives working at UberEats, I have other obligations and responsibilities to attend to. I am not sure what is the efficient way to resolve the issue.
Negative resolution
Uber eats commits petty larceny at the customer support level.
Received an email from uber eats that stated I was being charged for a cancelled order because the merchant had already started the order, untrue I immediately called the merchant to let them know I placed the order at the wrong location and do not proceed with the order. I was instructed to contact uber eats or use the app to cancel. Which I immediately did. Today I found a notice in my email of a cancellation charge for $18.67. I contacted the merchant appleby's greer, sc location and spoke to the manager kenny. He told me that they do not charge cancellation fees on product, even if the food is prepared. It's just not policy. I then contacted uber eats. Attached are the snaps of the (so-called) support chat. Chats are sequentially labeled from 72-84 disregard missing snaps as they are unrelated to these.
Unauthorized Tipping
I placed an order and I was not pleased with the service the delivery person provided. I went on the UberEats app and rated the service with a thumbs down! Next thing I know I got a email saying thank you for your tip. I never tipped. I immediately reached out to an UberEats representative and told them I have a UNAUTHORIZED TIP added on my account. This representative took their time responding and they said they will put in a ticket for me and that someone will be emailing me shortly. It has been 2 days now where they still have had nobody email me to provided me with a resolution.
Desired outcome: To be refunded or provided credit!
If they do not refund me my money or provide me with a store credit then I will be forced to do an entire chargeback for the full amount.
They did not deliver Mcdonalds food order
I ordered Mcdonalds breakfast from the Mcdonalds app, they allocated uber to make the delivery on the 28.4.2023. The order was placed at 9.10 and expected delivery was for 9.35. I tracked the order and when it said it was delivered at 9.33 i was confused as no one had come to my door. I contacted uber who advised that the driver tried to phone me but I do not have a contact phone on the app so that was the first lie the second lie was when they said they had knocked at the door. I have cameras and a ring doorbell and no one knocked at the door. To make it worse i spoke to a manager who advised as they could not make delivery I would be charged yet they had sent notification the delivery had taken place

Good day. My Visa account card ending in...3045 was charged twice last Saturday, 22 April 22 2023 in the amount of $42.01 and $5.23 at approximately between 9:39am (AEST/AEDT) and 9:11pm (AEST/AEDT). Customer service
The restaurant charged more than the the listed price and then added an additional 6.90 service charge. The advertisement was buy one get one free. The price is listed as 14.95 and should have been 29.90. The restaurant charged 36.80 and deducted 14.95 (for the free meal). They advertised a.49 delivery fee and charged that an additional 6.90 service fee. No where on the site and when I checked out was an additional service fee mentioned. I feel completely ripped off. Uber Eats customer support acknowledged that I had been mischarged, but the agent said that there was nothing they could do. That the (mis) charges were valid even though she had just said that I was overcharged.

McDonalds, Salisbury SA. I did not receive part of my order, a caesar wrap.
My name is Caryl Williams, and have ordered through Uber Eats for a meal, which was delivered at 4pm today, 13th April, 2023. I received my order from McDonalds, which had a caesar wrap missing. I phoned McDonalds in Salisbury, however they told me to use the Uber Eats app, as I paid using my Visa online. As I was on my PC to make the order, I have been back to check the price, however the order will not show as I had received it already (Well, not all of it). I am asking for a refund on the caesar wrap. Thank you.

Adding new credit card number
To whom it may concern:
I set up Uber Eats and used my ATM card to pay for meals for one of my sisters, who lives in Laredo and is disabled. I have another younger sister, who like me, lives in San Antonio, who also wanted to help pay for our disabled sister’s meals.
Unfortunately, my sister’s card number was compromised, and she had to cancel it. I removed this card number from the Uber Wallet page. She asked that I add another card number to help, again, pay for meals.
I have been on the Wallet page for over an hour and was not successful in adding this new card number. The error message says that there is a problem with the card. My sister has been using this new card with no problems.
I have tried to add this new card number, to no avail. I tried to call your customer service line. I spoke to a young man who, when I explained the problem, told me to wait until the food was delivered and call back to change the method of payment.
I told the CS rep that I didn’t want to remove my card number from the Wallet page but just to have him help me add another card number (my sister’s) to the Wallet page. He said he could not do that. I must ask Why?
Your Wallet page is not allowing me to just another credit card number. I am not sure why. Would you please tell me why this is so difficult?
You may call my cell number [protected]) or my landline number [protected]). If this cannot be resolved, I will simply use Door Dash or another delivery service. I would prefer not to do this as Uber Eats had, up to this point, had worked beautifully well.

Unauthorised credit card charges
My debit card was used on 10th April 2023 at approximately 1030pm to get Uber Eats delivered to an address where I don't live.
the Uber Eats guy rang me at approximately 1130pm to confirm the address as it is different to my address where they have delivered previously. The address where these were delivered is 38 King Street Mile End SA.
My address is Unit 1/151 Tolley Road St Agnes SA.
There are 4 transactions for amounts of: $48.11, $43.74, $58.90 and $60.29 each being charged at different vendors.
I have not ordered these items and would like the payments to be unauthorised by you. I have already cancelled my debit card.
I would like these amounts to be refunded ASAP.

My order was picked up first and the was driven around for at least 35min.
I pay good money for this and ended up with cold food, this is not the first time and i think uber should compensate me for this meal.
Desired outcome: Driver very rude, after we talked at the delivery point.
Food delivery
On 3 different occasions I ordered food thru uber eats and they delivered my food to the wrong address, once I realized my food never arrived I quickly took a photo of my front door and tried to get it to the driver so he would be able to see for himself he had delivered it to the wrong place, I contacted customer service and the restaurant also did on my behalf and the response I received on all 3 different occasions was sorry your order is not eligible for a refund. I sent them pictures of what the delivery guy took along with a picture of my front door with 7" bold black numbers of my address right over front door and all 3 times I was still charged and never received my food, uber eats should have a wide scale lawsuit filed against them by all the customers they have screwed out of there hard earned money and not to mention the poor restaurants probably getting negative reviews because of there lack of responsibility, they should be shut down, I would never recommend them or use them ever again and I will warn as many people as I can to stay far away from this corrupt mafia food delivery network.

On the 25th of March i placed an order via the Uber Eats App. However, when the driver called me to check in, he informed me that none of the pies i wanted was in stock and that they wanted to do replacements with products that i dont eat, i told him that it was unacceptable and i would not take something i did not want.
He subsequently went offline and the next thing is they are looking for a new driver. After some time waiting, and the order not leaving the store, i tried calling but to no avail. After nearly 1.5 hours i proceeded to cancel the order as there was no further movement. i then noticed that the order was not going to refunded in full.
Desired outcome: When will my money be refunded in full as it was not me who caused the issue. Rather it was the store who wanted to force me to take items i did not want. I will definitely not use UberEats again.
Uber eats refund not received
I have filed for TWO refunds that I STILL have not received and NO ONE is contacting me. I have requested my bank to release if it's been on hold, and my bank has no funds in hold. I have spoken to them COUNTLESS TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION. Every time I get a "human" responding to me on the "help" conversations, there is NEVER and has NEVER been a resolution... I find it so infuriating that our money comes out so fast but we are not entitled to our own money returning to us in the same manner of urgency?
It is CLEAR that Uber Eats does NOT care about their consumers and this has driven me to my last inch of sanity... I'm sick of the poor quality of food that comes from their restaurants. I'm sick of waiting for what is rigtfully mine. I'm sick of being dicked around by big corporations that just aren't contactable... this needs to stop.

On March 20th, 2023 at 5:30 pm I order Wingstop from the uber eats app. The order totaled 49 dollars with delivery fees and tips. I realized that I made the order for pickup instead of delivery, so I canceled the order and called customer service to see if I could get a refund. I was told that although I canceled the order, uber eats would not issue me a refund or a credit to my uber eats account. I was angry! I asked the customer service rep why is it that I have no food but you get to keep my money. So I asked for a manager and was informed that the outcome would be the same. I don't think it's fair that I am out 40 dollars and did not get the items I purchased.

Non delivery of order
Ordered burgers from Whalburgers in Circular Quay Sydney today. Waited over 1.5 hours but food not delivered. Updates were showing on computer and then appeared as order cancelled by someone who is not me. I then rang restaurant who advised order still waiting and had been for over 45 mins but no Uber driver collection. It seems very wrong that updates such as "almost there" and "on the way" were appearing but no food. Sending false updates to me is very bad service and leaves me wondering just how trustworthy Uber is? I would appreciate a reply clarifying this problem.
Incorrect order
On February 15, 2023 delivery time 5:25pm, we ordered 2 club sandwich meals and a chicken nugget meal from St. Hubert with drinks and coleslaw. That was over 60$ worth of food! When our food was delivered at 5:25pm, it wasn't our full order. In fact, the only part that was our order were the drinks and the coleslaw! Instead, we got a Piri Piri half chicken with sweet potato fries. We essentially paid $60 for a half chicken meal! I went through all of the hoops needed to report the issue last night, specifically showing the box we did get with the receipt and the different order # and Uber felt that I only needed to be reimbursed with $5 in Uber cash. So last night, we ended up ordering from somewhere else and spent another $60 to get some food for us and our child! We literally spend $120 for six meals, three of which we didn't get, when all we needed was three. That doesn't seem right now does it?
Desired outcome: My whole order should have been reimbursed considering I never got the food to begin with! Uber needs to make this right and reimburse the $ for the food that we paid for and never received.
my food did not arrive
hi my friend ordered for me, and i went to the gate to fetch my food but the driver was not there...i texted him alot of times and he just read my messages and never responded, he called my friend and said he is at the robot ,we went there but he was not there...and i used my last money on that food, now hes number does not exist...mcdonalds sunnyside, ordered two regular big mac...at 20:15

I made an order for a caramel machiato a sandwhich and a coffee cake and they're all wet with coffee. I grabbed the bag and my coffee fell through the bag, thats how soaking wet it is. Ubereats delivered food to wrong address. Have copy of the bag delivered but, this is not my address . Why will they not refund me? Been working on this for two days. Restaurent is IHOP. Cold food etc
I wanted to order from McDonald's. First time in years. I crave McDonald’s every once in a while... I was born in the 60s... So I know I great burger... And lived in London, Ontario all my life, we had the first McDonald's on high bury in the entire world... This is the truth... So Uber app is frustrating, my food was really late... The Uber person dropped at my door never knocked. So I had no idea it was there... This situation was an extremer downer to say the least... It sucked. I will tell others of this experience... I now will never order from Uber and others... Take this info as you think appropriate but I have lived in London all my life and I know so so many people... Uber always pops up as a topic... Doesn't hurt my feelings if you don't reply word of mouth still works and internet... Ordering food from Uber is disgusting
