Tucson Federal Credit Union I been charged probably 40 overdraft fees since using TCFU

I been charged probably 40 overdraft fees since using TCFU. There system purposely works to make sure they can charge 33.00 per transaction rigged in there favor. What I find disgusting is this is during Coronavius and this is how an Essential Worker is treated. I tried calling them and got absolutely nowhere. I seen how they treat "white" customers on other ComplaintsBoard.com complaints and refunded them almost all there fees, however me they only want to refund 1?. Well i decided to file a complaint because I can see them giving refunds to other customer and this is before Coronavius. I been having to play catch up because not been able to choose another bank because of the pandemic. They are very very poor customer service and getting rich of my hard earned money.

Dear ComplaintsBoard.com, I am finally filing a complaint against this company as I have exhausted all resources and done all the calling I should not have to do. I've done so much research and finally I got in touch with someone who notified me this is a case for the ComplaintsBoard.com. The following describes my case, back in 2011 I had a student account bonded with my fathers account. In this account I had a savings and a checking account, all was fine and dandy until I decided I was going to move to another Bank. I walked in with my S/O at the time as we were to open a joint account with another bank. So in order to do this I was closing out my current account with TFCU and pulling my $25.00 deposit that was used to open the original account. When we sat with the teller everything was fine, customer service seemed fair and I had trust in the teller to close a simple account. Once everything was done the teller then states " Oh! I am sorry I over drafted the account by $1.00 and some change." When I heard that I was worried and asked " Oh no! okay so what do I do? " The teller then proceeded with " Just pay the over draft amount and I will make it as paid in the system and you're all set to go." I then agreed and proceeded to pay the amount of the mistake done by the teller, little did I know this mistake was to stay with me for 10 years. Once I left to go open the bank account I was denied and notified that I am on the negative list for ChexSystems. I requested a copy and went back to TFCU, Once I went to the bank they notified me all I have to do is call the one of the two credit bureau companies and request it to be dropped off. Me being 18 years of age thought this was the process worked, little did I know it is not. I've contacted the bureaus and not one of those can remove the mark from my credit history. I have dealt with this coming up 9 years, and I have done research and apparently this was to be dropped off in 5 years how ever mine will not fall until 10 years. This has put a stump in me building credit, building a savings account, qualifying for real life situations. I have had countless denials for accounts and loans. I am now 26 years of age and I am a single mother. This has put a stop in my life from moving forward. At this point it has been brought to my attention that this was not my issue/fault/problem to solve. The teller that messed up on her part and played it as though nothing was wrong and denied to give me thorough information and as well did not do the process of fixing her/the companies error & mistake. Every time I have gone into one of their branches and asked for assistance, I've waited in line and got no help, This has been a ginormous waste of time. effort, energy, and also not getting ahead in life. I am now looking for a resolution because I need to start a savings account for my son and I. I need to get my credit in shape in order to buy a home for myself and family. Please review this information for me and help me find a resolve as this company has denied me many years and caused many issues in my life. Thank you
