I can't even begin to describe how terrible my experience was with Tripp Lite. I purchased an APS700HF, which is supposed to be an inverter charger for computers. But let me tell you, it's not that simple. I ended up frying three units while attempting to use them with my computers. I just got off the phone with Tripp Lite, and they had the audacity to tell me that they don't recommend using these units with computers. Can you believe it? They offered me nothing but a replacement, which is useless at this point. To make matters worse, they even removed my review from their website. It took me a whopping three months to get this resolved, and now I'm out $400 on batteries and their useless product. It's a complete scam and a waste of time. I mean, seriously, the product description clearly states "for use with computers" in the first sentence, and now they're telling me not to use it with computers. How frustrating is that?

I started off with a bad impression of Tripp Lite, buying a UPS that didn't meet my expectations. They contacted me after I left a negative review somewhere and wanted to fix the problem. They ended up swapping that UPS with a better model because there was a mistake in the ad for the one I bought. Since then, I've stuck with Tripp Lite for most things like USB and ethernet cables, USB and display hubs, and switchers, as well as UPS units. They mostly sell to businesses, and some of their products are priced over $100k. However, they've also shown that they value non-business customers. Dealing with them is always a professional experience if you approach it professionally as a customer. Sometimes products do fail, and Tripp Lite knows this and has processes in place to handle product failures and warranty replacements easily. Doing business with them has been worthwhile for me. Their equipment is generally well-designed and reliable at its core. They have a lot of experience in their field, and it's evident.

I am disappointed with my recent purchase from Tripp Lite. The item I received was defective right out of the box. It took a lot of back and forth communication before they agreed to accept the return. However, they insisted that I cover the cost of the return shipping. According to the shipper, Tripp Lite received the defective unit and even acknowledged its receipt. Despite this, I have yet to receive a replacement or a refund. As a result, I am now out of pocket for both the original purchase price and the return shipping fee.

I reached out to this company about my PDU (model PDUMH15) a few weeks ago because it stopped working. We tried some basic troubleshooting, but it turned out that my unit was faulty and needed to be replaced. They promised to send a new unit and mentioned that the old one is useless. Usually, they ask for the old unit back, but in this case, it's not fixable. However, it's been several weeks now, and I still haven't received a replacement. I've been trying to contact them, but every time I call, they claim they don't have any updates. It's frustrating because whenever I ask to speak with a manager, they get really mad and hang up on me.

I bought a product from Tripp Lite, a company that specializes in ***. I also purchased an extended battery to go along with it. The first item I received was damaged, either during shipping or while it was being packaged at the factory. I had to return the second one because the cooling fan was not working or installed properly, causing the unit to power off after just 20 minutes of casual use. They sent me a third unit, which has been working but makes irregular noises. However, recently it randomly powered off. I initiated a return for a fourth unit, but when it arrived, it was damaged during packaging and deemed unsafe for use. I contacted Tripp Lite and they assured me that a fifth unit would be shipped out. However, I haven't heard anything from them for almost a week, despite sending several emails. They have not responded to any of my emails. I demanded a refund from the manufacturer if they were unable or unwilling to fulfill the warranty on the product. Now, the manufacturer claims that the replacement has already been shipped and delivered. However, the tracking information refers to the unit that was most recently shipped, which was damaged and unsafe for use. I will attach PDFs of all the email conversations and I plan to inform the company that I have filed a formal complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com.

I bought a bluetooth adapter from Tripp Lite. It needs licensed software, but they don't mention that in the product listings. The software on the disc says it might be fake. I asked Tripp Lite for a working driver, but they only gave me the same licensed software. I asked for a product key many times, but they refused. The reviews and product history show that it used to work until revision 2 when they started requiring licensed software. They didn't change the product number or name, just the revision. This is bait and switch. They also purposely took a long time to respond to my support requests, so now I can't return the product. They should clearly state that licensed software is needed. Right now, they don't mention it anywhere, which is misleading.
