Xoticpc Stole money

They sent me a defective laptop. Then I sent it back, and they refunded me. In the refund, they included a restocking fee. So they stole from me 700$ for a faulty laptop + transportation payments. They didn't propose any better solution and charged the highest stocking fee possible. I reported the issue after the week of purchase, and they didn't offer a good solution. You don't have to pay a restocking fee if the item you are returning is defective. Disappointing.

Recommendation: Avoid. Not worth. Also, fake item description.

Xoticpc Disappointing Experience with Xotic: Unprofessional Customer Service and Incorrectly Built Laptop

I'm a proud owner of a boutique architecture firm in Colorado. Recently, we decided to make a shift to MSI workstation laptops and we were thrilled to work with Xotic staff to set up and build our first $5400 machine. The staff recommended that we add extra services to ensure prompt delivery and the highest quality control, which we agreed to. However, when we received the shipment weeks later, we were disappointed to find that the laptop had been incorrectly built with a series of partitions that we did not request, placed on the incorrectly located hard drives.

Xotic accepted fault but offered no support. Initially, Xotic requested that our company open up the computer ourselves and begin by switching hard drives around and reinstalling the OS. However, we were not willing to do this due to warranty issues and the inappropriateness of this request after such an expensive purchase. After a series of painful emails and calls, my company made the decision to send back the laptop due to the lack of faith in Xotic's customer service and professionalism.

When we requested a return label for the PC, Xotic refused to provide it, saying that we needed to pay for return shipping in addition to a series of other charges that totaled nearly $400. All this, just to return a problem product we never ordered, at no fault of our own. I will not name any individuals, but the support staff I personally worked with offered no professionalism, and management refused to speak with us.

My company has amazing clients and staff to take care of. Computers are one of our greatest tools, but this process has taken so much time and effort. I will never work with Xotic again. If you are looking for a professional/business solution, I recommend looking elsewhere. This company is absolutely horrible.

Xoticpc Disappointing Experience with XOTIC PC: Delayed Delivery, Poor Communication, and Unhelpful Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with XOTIC PC. I ordered an MSI 76 GE Raider Laptop back in November 2021, and the preorder date said I'd get it between November 15-30. But that time came and went, and when I reached out to customer service, they told me I wouldn't get it until December 2022! I mean, come on, that's a whole year later!

So I waited patiently until December 2021, but still no laptop. I reached out to customer service again in January 2022, and they said I'd get it in February 2022. I mean, I get that things can take time, but it would have been nice if they had kept me updated along the way. I had to reach out to them every time to find out what was going on.

Then, when I finally got in touch with them in January, they told me that the laptop I ordered was now End of Life and that MSI wasn't fulfilling any more orders. I was pretty upset about that, especially since I had been waiting for almost three months at that point. But I didn't want to give up just yet, so I called MSI myself to see what was going on. And guess what? They still had the laptop I ordered on their website, and it wasn't End of Life at all!

So I tried to get in touch with XOTIC PC again to let them know what I had found out, but they started screening my calls and I could only get in touch with them through the online chat service. When I asked to speak with a manager, they just gave me an email address. And to make matters worse, one of the customer service reps even hung up on me!

All in all, I'm really disappointed with XOTIC PC and their customer service. They never made me feel like a valued customer, and I don't think I'll be buying anything from them again.

Xoticpc Unprofessional and Disappointing Experience with Xoticpc: Delayed Shipping and Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased a custom-built PC from Xoticpc and I have to say, the experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, it took a whopping 23 working days for my build to even be shipped out, which is way longer than the minimum ETA of 20 days that they advertise on their website. Apparently, they had nothing in stock, which is quite disappointing considering they claim to have everything available.

To make matters worse, I had requested a change in shipping address multiple times before the PC was shipped out, but they failed to make the change. When I called UPS to change it myself, they informed me that I needed authorization from Xoticpc before I could do so. I spent a total of 45 minutes on hold, only to be told that they couldn't authorize the change due to some contract they had with UPS. I work for FedEx and I know for a fact that you can change the shipping address, and even UPS agreed with me. I waited for three hours for a response from Xoticpc, but received nothing. When I called back, I was hung up on twice and even after sending multiple emails requesting to speak to a manager, I received no response.

The overall experience with Xoticpc was extremely unprofessional and it's clear that they don't care about their customers or providing good service. I regret not choosing to go with Xdiax and I will never purchase from or recommend Xoticpc to anyone. It's a shame that they prioritize their profits over their customers' satisfaction.

Xoticpc Mixed Experience with Xoticpc: Great Customer Service, Slow Order Processing and Refund

I was really excited when I first started dealing with Xoticpc. They had a lot of options to choose from and the prices were really good. I was also happy that their website was easy to use, unlike some other computer building sites that I've tried to use in the past.

The customer service was also really great. I used their online chat support and everyone I talked to was super nice and helpful. Travis, Emily, and the rest of the team were all really great.

Unfortunately, things started to go downhill when I placed my laptop order. I was still in Phase 1 (Inventory Gathering) after 14 days, even though the website said that it would ship between 7 and 9 business days. I know that building a custom PC takes time, but 2 weeks to gather inventory that is advertised on your website is just ridiculous. And then there's the time it takes to put everything together, install Windows, optimize, calibrate, overclock, and test. I knew it was going to take at least another week before it was even shipped.

So I decided to cancel my order and go with another company that could get the parts I needed more quickly. I spoke to a representative named Landon, who was also really nice, and cancelled my order on 8/5. My order status was changed on 8/7, but now I'm having another issue. I still haven't received my refund, and it's been 6 days. We're on the 5th business day since the order status changed, and I'm starting to get frustrated.

I don't know about anyone else, but I work in eCommerce and I know that speed and accuracy are really important. If I had an employee who was causing delays and slow turnaround times, there would be serious consequences. I'm not sure why it was taking so long for Xoticpc to acquire the parts I needed, or why the refund process is taking so long. I ordered a similar laptop from another company on 8/6 and it's already on its way. I have the tracking information and everything.

I'm really disappointed because the support team was so great. I was planning on getting another laptop from Xoticpc for my wife, but unless something changes, I won't be using their site again for my computer needs.

Xoticpc Xoticpc Review: Dishonest and Poor Quality Control - Don't Waste Your Money

I gotta say, I'm not too happy with Xoticpc. I mean, I'm feeling pretty guilty even giving them one star, but if there was a way to give them less, I would. They don't seem to have any quality control at all, and the people who work there are just plain dishonest. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

So here's the deal. I bought a laptop from them, a Gigabyte Aero 15X, and it had a ton of issues. The keyboard clicks didn't register, some of the keyboard LEDs were burned out, the screen had a lot of backlight bleed, and the chassis wasn't fixed properly, so it made noise when I typed. I returned it and asked for the same model, but they didn't have it in stock. So I chose the MSI GS65 instead.

The manager was pretty helpful, I gotta admit. He let me wait to receive the new laptop before I returned the defective one. But even with his help, things didn't get any better. The new laptop arrived, and right away I noticed a cluster of stuck pixels on the screen that were always blue. I tried some software to fix it, but nothing worked. Then, after a week, some of the keys stopped registering completely.

So I returned it again and waited for another one. And guess what? The third laptop had issues too. The capacitors on the board were messed up, making a weird buzzing noise that wasn't there on the first model. The fans sounded different, like they were vibrating more than usual, and the laptop got way hotter than the previous one. And to top it all off, the battery LED wasn't working from day one.

Now, I'm from a different country, so each time I returned a laptop, I had to pay for shipping both ways and brokerage fees and all that. So this time, I decided to open up the laptop and see if I could fix it myself. And what do I find? The ribbon cable for the LED wasn't even connected! At first, I thought it was just a careless worker who forgot to connect it, but then I realized it was disconnected on purpose to hide a bigger issue. Whenever I brought anything metal or magnetic near the LED, the laptop screen turned off! I have no idea what's going on there, but instead of fixing the problem, they just disconnected the battery LED.

And get this: they claim to test their devices for hours before shipping them out. But when I received the laptop, I found a report on the desktop with stress test results. And guess what? The report was for a totally different device, an Asus model with a completely different configuration, and on a totally different date. They didn't even bother to fake the date or the model of the device in the report.

Honestly, I'm thinking about reporting them. I don't want to deal with them anymore. Bottom line: Xoticpc is a scam. If you want to throw your money away, go ahead and buy from them. But if you want a quality laptop that actually works, look somewhere else.

Xoticpc Exotic PC Review: Disappointing Experience with Tongfang GM7NG0P Laptop

I recently purchased the Exotic PC model GP17, which is actually a rebranded version of the Eluktronics MAX-17, which is in turn a Chinese-made Tongfang GM7NG0P. The laptop boasts an AMD Ryzen 4800H CPU and Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU. Unfortunately, my experience with this purchase was less than satisfactory, and I encountered several issues that I feel are important to share.

Firstly, the laptop was delivered with a six-week delay, despite being assured that all components were in stock prior to placing my order. To make matters worse, the laptop was shipped to Asia, and the shipper imposed a limitation on the length of the characters in the address. This resulted in the laptop being delivered to the wrong address, which caused an additional $200 in custom duties.

Secondly, the laptop was delivered with the Exotic PC Control Center software, which was riddled with bugs. The LED and CPU power mode would switch on their own, causing frustration and inconvenience.

Thirdly, the BIOS was cheap and extremely basic, and unlike other similar devices, it offered no CPU voltage and clock control.

Fourthly, from day one, the laptop's AMD CPU was cycling at idle from minimum frequency to boost constantly. The fan was speeding up and down, trying to keep up with the 4300 MHz induced heat (stock frequency is only 2900 MHz). Without touching the laptop (with just Windows Apps running), the temperature was constantly cycling about 10 C and averaging 60 C, and the fan was noticeably buzzing up and down. Shockingly, Exotic PC had no solutions and said that the cycling was normal.

Fifthly, the QHD screen failed twice in about a year of light office use. The first time, it failed under warranty, but the warranty was not honored, as the shipping cost to the US was more expensive than changing the screen locally. The first time, only the screen was changed, but the second time, the cable had to be replaced as well.

Lastly, the power switch needed to be pressed twice or once for a few seconds to power up the laptop. This was a very annoying way to start up, which halved the switch's life expectancy. Exotic PC had no clue how to change the setting.

Despite all these issues, I managed to fix them all on my own, with no help from Exotic PC or Eluktronics. However, I am still unclear if the screen will fail again.

In conclusion, I would advise against buying anything from Exotic PC. They are just middlemen who add no value to the purchase, just another layer of bureaucracy and headaches. It is better to buy directly from the first re-brander (Eluktronics in this case) or better yet, from the manufacturer.

Furthermore, once the sale is done, Exotic PC offers no effective support, just words, excuses, and no cost-effective solutions. As my case proves, their technical support expertise is way too low for these high-end custom devices.

Lastly, I would caution against buying Tongfang computers unless you are Chinese. Even though they are well-priced great machines, nobody can really fix them unless it is some basic and evident part swap. The various companies that re-brand them worldwide can't really fix them, and even more so, generic laptop shops. The OEM does not offer appropriate technical documentation, schematics, part lists, or the support required for in-depth troubleshooting.

If you can, buy from Tongfang Hong Kong or Uniwill in Taiwan or Mechrevo in mainland China. They are the closest to the factory and speak the language of the OEM.

Xoticpc Disappointing Experience with Xoticpc: Overpriced and Poor Quality Products with Terrible Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty frustrated with my experience with Xoticpc. I spent a good chunk of change on a laptop - started at $1400 but ended up closer to $2k with all the upgrades I added. I was pretty excited to get it, but that excitement was short-lived.

The first day I got it, I installed Avast and Steam, updated everything, and then installed GTA 5. As soon as I started playing, my laptop hit 96 degrees Celsius. I shut it down and went to bed, confused. The next day, it took 26 minutes to turn on and get to where I could play GTA again. Not updating, just getting to the home screen took 10 minutes, then another 10 to open Steam, and then the normal time to open GTA. This is a $2k laptop that runs worse than my 5-year-old PS4. I started digging around and realized that XOTIC installed my Windows on the low-end extra space HDD that I paid an extra $60 for instead of the NVMe SSD that I spent an extra $200 on. That's the second thing wrong. Finally, I noticed that one of the four rubber bumper pads was missing. Three mistakes on a $2k laptop right out of the box? Unbelievable.

I called them to get it sent back for warranty repair and asked them to express ship it. I was told that they were doing me a favor already by paying for shipping both ways and repairing it. That's outrageous. That's not a favor, that's called a warranty! I asked if they could guarantee that I'll have it back in 3 weeks as I need it for school. They said it's a fairly good chance. A fairly good chance? Can't they make me a promise since they already made 3 mistakes? Useless customer service.

Don't spend money here. They don't care about you or your happiness with the product, purchase, or company and its customer service. You might be one of the lucky ones to get a good device, but if they screw it up like they do way too often, then be prepared to get ignored, disrespected, and ridiculed by a team of people who professionally build and sell bad overpriced PCs.

I repair cars and motorcycles for a living. I wish this company held itself to the same standard that even dirty uneducated mechanics like my peers and I do. If I make a mistake working on someone's vehicle, I apologize profusely, repair the mistake for free, and grant them any reasonable request like a free oil change or some wipers blades, maybe a set of spark plugs. All stuff that costs not even $25, that is a small expense for me, but it's to see my customer happy in the end despite a small mistake. It's not only not rocket science, but it's not even a concept incomprehensible to a child.

XOTIC didn't mess anything up beyond repair, but the fact that they don't care about making it right and making me happy is why I'm not shopping here anymore and why I'm no longer recommending this business to my friends.

Xoticpc ASUS and XOTIC PC: A Customer Service Nightmare

I bought the ASUS Republic of Gaming (ROG) Zephyrus GX501 from XOTIC PC in March 2019. The price was $4,118 with tax. I was excited to use it for my work, which involves heavy spreadsheet usage and regular presentations. However, from the very beginning, I noticed that the light leakage from the bezel was excessive and annoying. I paid $98 to XOTIC to verify this, but they did not calibrate or test the leakage.

The 17" screen was perfect for my work, but the screen was flimsy and required careful handling while opening and closing. The pop-up bottom vent on the face was clever, but it constantly got caught and popped out of the hinges. This was not good if I ever planned to use the laptop while on the move.

I faced several performance issues, and the battery life was terrible. Initially, I got about 90 minutes, which steadily declined over time. Eventually, it stopped charging altogether. I called XOTIC and ASUS, and they convinced me that I needed a new $200 charger. However, the new charger did not solve the problem. After almost a month of trying to reach XOTIC, they finally responded. I had to call the sales department because the support department did not answer. They asked me to send the computer directly to ASUS in Texas, which I did on March 8, 2019.

After a month, I pressed XOTIC and ASUS for an update, and they stated that they had not received the package. Four more weeks passed, and Fedex showed up with the box, marked "package refused." I resent the package to ASUS with a signature receipt, and it was delivered and signed for on June 6. On June 26, I called again for an update, and they told me that they did not receive the package. I sent them a signed copy from ASUS (marked June 6 by "Christopher"), but they still denied receiving it.

They then notified me that they suspected that the issues might be due to damage. When they opened the case, they found that some screws were installed poorly, and the chassis had flaking paint. They also took a close-up of mild cosmetic damage to a corner. However, the display was in perfect order other than the light leakage, and the issue was that the battery would not take charge or work off AC.

I suggested that if the ASUS machine was poorly assembled, it was an ASUS problem. I never disassembled and replaced pieces with identical crappy pieces. To this day, five months without my laptop, neither ASUS nor XOTIC can give me a straight answer on how this is getting fixed. I also took out the XOTIC "Damage Warranty," which XOTIC won't even acknowledge having any relevance. Light leakage is not damage; it is a "defect," and now that the 1-year warranty from the factory is up (because it sat in the ASUS shop for months).

In the end, there is no solution on the table. I have no $4000 laptop, no idea what is being done, and both ASUS and XOTIC just craft lovely letters of apology saying "we are sorry for your experience." I have more than two dozen of those letters, but not one says what they plan to do other than for XOTIC to fight with ASUS, ASUS to fight with XOTIC, and both of them to ignore me.

Both ASUS and XOTIC PC have illustrated the worst customer experience I have ever encountered in decades. As much as I dislike Apple, and in spite of that sometimes buying more than 100 laptops per year from them, I did so because they took care of me. This experience could not have been more opposite. Both companies do not deserve anyone's business, and it is totally and completely unacceptable.

I am taking both parties to small claims court, the first time in my life. This cannot stand, even if just on principle alone.

Xoticpc XoticPC's Support and Warranty Failures: A Disabled Customer's Experience

I received my computer from XoticPC in November of 2018, and within 24 hours of taking it out of the box, I experienced an unrecoverable BSOD loop that required RMA. I reported this issue to them within one day of receiving the computer and within two days of their shipping the unit to me.

Over the next two years, XoticPC "serviced" the unit for RMA two times due to their support's intentional stalling. In one instance, they even held the computer for months at a time when they did have it, and band-aid fixes involving the CPU that never fully resolved the issues the unit had since day one.

After their two attempts at the CPU, I began to notice the GPU overheating and intermittently failing, also causing the computer to crash. These failures became more and more frequent over time, with the initial BSOD issue also remaining as a recurring, if slightly less frequent, problem.

Over the 4 years+ since my initial purchase, the unit never functioned correctly without regular BSOD and Graphics Card Crashing.

Sager has serviced the unit two times within the last 12 months, also failing to remedy the issues present. Their approach was to replace the GPU. This approach also had minimal impact in resolving the issues present, with the unit still experiencing both the BSOD and Graphics Card Crashes even with both the GPU and CPU now having been replaced.

On 01/10/2023, I contacted XoticPC to initiate a refund as I no longer had faith in either their or Sager's ability to provide a suitably repaired or replacement product.

As a disabled adult, my (former) Representative Payee (mother) completed the initial purchase on my behalf in exchange for my money.

I informed XoticPC of the situation at hand and began going back and forth with their "support agent" (I use this term as lightly today as I ever have in my life) via email.

During this "back and forth" (which was still ongoing as of the morning of 1/12/2023), I was repeatedly lied to, asked questions I had already provided answers for, and my claims summarily belittled, dismissed, and ignored.

Their "support agent" refused to acknowledge my issues the majority of the day until I provided a detailed, complex breakdown of each and every detail of each crash I could along with screenshots.

My every message was met with replies from their agent containing lies, misinformation, and more dismissal of my claims. At every turn, their agent chose to belittle my claims and insist upon allowing them to continue wasting my time and treating me with disrespect by stalling, refusing my refund, and insisting I let them repair it again.

During the course of this, XoticPC chose to respond to my BBB complaint with inaccurate information that was provided to them by Sager. When confronted with their response's inaccuracies and proof of such, the agent blamed me for their mistake instead of taking responsibility for their own failure.

After proving my case thoroughly and beyond impeachment over email, when the "support agent" ran out of excuses, stall tactics, and reasons to deny my request, the agent then resorted to ableism, informing me they had contacted my former payee and stating "We just spoke to your mother" (former payee) in an attempt to bypass me entirely and obtain a resolution to their satisfaction without my consent.

They also stated the following "I would be willing to see if can assist with Sager to move your hard drives and ram to a new similar-performance machine instead of using the funds to replace the GPU? Is that an option?"

Still trying everything they could to avoid giving me the refund I am due.

Additionally, after doing so, they insisted we continue the discussion over the phone and refused to continue by email. This is a denial of handicap accessible service as I require email to respond in an accurate manner. As such, the agent has violated the Americans With Disabilities Act, Title III, and has been reported to the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division for doing so.

At this time (01/12/2023), I have received the following after sending the full thread to their management email listed here.

"We have followed our warranty agreement and have exceeded our obligations under this warranty. You have received our offers to assist you, it is up to you to accept these offers. Your parts warranty has expired in 2021. Your laptop is 4+ years since purchase and over 1 Year outside of that warranty term.

If you have nothing more to add, there is nothing more to discuss on this.

Please let us know if you would like to proceed on the offers on or before end of day January 13th, 2023, through this email address."

To which I replied:

"You provided a faulty product and failed to meet your obligations under warranty. If you refuse my refund, we can proceed to court, regardless of any unreasonable and legally unenforceable "deadline" you claim to impose."

The "agent" needs a new job, and XoticPC needs a Class Action.

Xoticpc Xotic PC Review: Nightmare Shipping and Faulty Product

I recently had an experience with Xotic PC and let me tell you, it was not a pleasant one. I was in the market for a new PC and a friend recommended Xotic PC to me. I looked them up and decided to give them a try. I opened a chat with customer support to help me make my PC and place my order. That's when the problems started.

First off, the shipping was a nightmare. I was told it would only take 4-6 days to finish and ship my order since I had picked a model that was in stock. However, a few days later, I received an email saying that the model I picked was out of stock, despite me paying for a more expensive model. They kept delaying the shipping date, and it ended up taking over a month for my PC to be shipped. There were other shipping issues, but they weren't as important.

When I finally received my PC, it worked fine for a few days, but then it started glitching out and acting weird. It would crash, flash random colors, and tear the screen. I contacted customer support, and they recommended a bunch of things to try, but nothing worked. I asked for a full refund since it was broken out of the box, but they refused. I had to send it back for repairs, and I was suspicious of them since they lied to me about the model being in stock. They assured me that it would be fixed, but when I received it back, it still didn't work. I was angry and asked for a refund again, but they refused once more. I had to spend the rest of the week troubleshooting with customer support to fix it myself.

There were so many more problems that I can't fit into this review. TLDR: Do not order from Xotic PC if you want an easy custom PC.

Xoticpc Xoticpc Review: Deceitful, Dishonest, and Complete Liars - Stay Away!

I recently bought a computer from Xoticpc for my son who is going to college. Unfortunately, I ended up being charged for two computers instead of one. I was really upset about this and decided to speak with Jeff and then Alex from Xoticpc to resolve the issue. They told me that they would take care of it and asked me to drop my dispute. I trusted them and did what they asked, but it turned out to be a bad move on my part.

I had no idea that Xoticpc was not going to advocate for me, their customer, at all. They ended up keeping my $2,145.35 for themselves, which was really disappointing. I tried to contact them multiple times, both by phone and email, but it was like talking to a brick wall. They kept telling me that they had spoken with my credit card company, Chase, and that everything was going to be worked out. However, it's been months since this all started and I'm still fighting with Xoticpc.

I have to say that Xoticpc is not a reputable company. They are deceitful, dishonest, and complete liars. I would not recommend this business to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Judging from the reviews on this site, I'm not the only one who feels this way. It's really sad that a company like Xoticpc can get away with treating their customers so poorly.

In conclusion, if you're thinking about buying a computer from Xoticpc, I would strongly advise against it. They are not a trustworthy company and will only cause you headaches and frustration. I wish I had read the reviews before making my purchase, but now I know better. Stay away from Xoticpc!

Xoticpc Xoticpc Review: Terrible Website, Hidden Fees, and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Xoticpc. I mean, I heard all the bad stuff before I ordered, but I thought, "Hey, maybe it won't happen to me." But boy was I wrong.

First off, their website is a mess. It's like they don't even want you to find what you're looking for. And when you do finally find it, they hit you with all these extra fees and charges that you didn't even know existed. And don't even get me started on their email system. It's like they don't even read what you're saying and just send you some generic response that doesn't even address your issue.

But the real kicker was when I had a problem with my order. They gave me the runaround for weeks, and when they finally did respond, they blamed me for the issue! Can you believe that? I mean, I'm not saying they're all bad. If you get your product in one piece, you might be okay. But if anything goes wrong, you're screwed.

And don't even bother leaving a negative review. They'll respond to it, but they won't take any responsibility. They just want to do damage control. It's like they don't even care about their customers.

So, if you're thinking about buying from Xoticpc, just be prepared for the worst. They'll take your money and run, and you'll be left with a subpar product and terrible customer service.

Xoticpc Unreliable and Poorly Made Laptops: My Experience with XoticPC

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough time with XoticPC. I bought three laptops from them, and all three had major issues. The first two were around $1000 each, and they both fell apart after just 16 months. I mean, come on, I don't even take these things on the road with me! I just close the lid at night and call it a day. But nope, the cases started dissolving and the hinges just gave out. It was a mess.

So I thought, maybe I'm just buying the cheap stuff. I decided to drop some serious cash on a $2200 Sager laptop from XoticPC. And guess what? It lasted even less time than the other two. After just 15 months, the hinge locked up, the bezel broke, and the case cracked. It was a disaster.

I had to RMA the first two laptops three times each, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it again with the third one. These laptops are just not well made, plain and simple. And don't even get me started on the batteries. They barely last 45 minutes, which is just ridiculous. I can't even enjoy a cigar on my lanai without the battery dying on me.

And to top it all off, my $2200 laptop had some kind of issue with the speaker. I could barely hear anything even at max volume. It was a real disappointment.

All in all, I would not recommend XoticPC to anyone looking for a reliable laptop. These things are just not good investments. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Xoticpc Xotic PC Review: Disappointing Product and Terrible Customer Service

So, I recently got myself an Xotic Laptop from Xotic PC. I was pretty excited about it, as I had ordered the 5900hx with the 3080 16g card, 2 tb m. 2 samsung HD and 32 gigs of ram. I even paid extra for a clean windows install, with debloating and a screen calibration. But boy, was I in for a surprise!

When I finally received the unit, it crashed within 15 minutes of startup. I mean, seriously? No apps were installed, it just crashed. And then, it kept crashing every 20 minutes or so. And if that wasn't enough, the screen went out too! All of this happened within just 2 days of receiving the laptop.

So, I decided to do a little research on Xotic PC. And what I found out was pretty shocking. Apparently, this company has a timeline of the production of your unit. They CLEARLY state that the computer will go through 3 to 6 days of testing before shipment. But guess what? These "People" (term used loosely) spent only 2.5 hours after the unit was put together on testing and installing windows. No wonder my laptop crashed!

When I asked for my money back, they couldn't even give me that! Can you believe it? They charged me for services that were not even rendered. There was NO documentation on the screen calibration, the fan curve was at MAX and stuck there. How the HELL can a company do this to their customers? They charged me 250 dollars for a computer that I never even got to use.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with Xotic PC. Their customer service is terrible, and their products are clearly not up to the mark. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I would advise you to stay away from them if you value your money and time.

Xoticpc Terrible Customer Service and Inventory System at Xoticpc

So, I wanted to buy a laptop from Xoticpc and I spoke to their live chat on October 15. I was customizing my machine and I talked to three different people - Andrea, James, and someone else. Andrea checked if the laptop I wanted was in stock, but it wasn't. She recommended an MSI laptop that was similar and had four in stock.

On Monday, October 18, I contacted them again and spoke to James. He told me that the laptop was going to be sent out later in the week because I paid for the rush build. But when I checked again today, October 21, James told me that the laptop was out of stock. I was never notified about this. The last day it was promised to be shipped is the day I had to follow up, only to find out that they didn't even have it in stock. They don't allocate a machine until they're ready to build it, and by the time they got to mine, there were no more.

This is the worst inventory system I've ever seen. When James finally got back to me and said he would refund me, there was no apology, no taking of responsibility, no attempt to fix it. Nothing. After I mentioned it, James responded, "I'm very sorry that we didn't have enough inventory to get you a laptop out right away. Is there anything else we can help with today?" They don't even understand the problem.

Honestly, I don't think this company cares about their customers. They don't value you or your business. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Xoticpc Deceptive Practices and Frustration: My Experience with Xoticpc

I recently had an experience with Xoticpc that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. As someone who works in nightclub visuals, I rely on my computer hardware to perform at its best. I was interested in getting the most out of my MSI model, so I reached out to Xoticpc to inquire about Prema, which I had heard could help with overclocking.

At first, I was told that Prema didn't exist for my model. But I knew that wasn't true - I had proven it to them. After being strung along for months, I was told that MSI didn't approve of the bios I was after. But then I was told by other agents that approval wasn't needed and that they could sell it to me.

Throughout this process, I felt like I was being treated like a ping-pong ball. Xoticpc claimed they didn't know who to talk to at MSI, while MSI claimed they needed to talk to Xoticpc. It was frustrating to be caught in the middle of this back-and-forth.

In the end, I was left feeling like Xoticpc was being deceptive and using delay tactics. I wouldn't recommend buying a system from them if you want to avoid being treated like a ping-pong ball. I'm giving them one star for their deceptive practices, and if I could give them zero stars, I would.

Xoticpc Disappointing Experience with Xotic PC: Late Arrival, Technical Issues, and Poor Customer Support

So, I gotta say, I was pretty excited to get my hands on a new laptop from Xoticpc.com. I mean, who wouldn't be, right? But then, the darn thing was late arriving, thanks to some manufacturing issues that I guess were related to Covid. No biggie, I guess, I mean, I can wait a month or more for something I really want.

But then, when the laptop finally did show up, I had all kinds of problems with it. Like, the ASUS software kept popping up and telling me that the connector wasn't seated properly, and the battery icon would just randomly stop showing that it was charging. So, I reached out to Xotic PC to try and get an RMA. And let me tell you, it was like pulling teeth to get that set up. I mean, it took over two weeks and multiple emails just to get the RMA set up. And then, when I finally did get it set up, I found out that it wasn't even going back to Xotic PC, it was going directly back to ASUS. I mean, what the heck?

So, I waited another week or so to hear back about my repair, and that's when Xotic PC dropped the bomb on me. Apparently, ASUS had determined that the charging problems were due to "user damage". Which is just ridiculous, because I had problems with the darn thing on day one! But, Xotic PC wouldn't help me escalate the issue with ASUS, so now I'm stuck trying to battle it out with them over the $2,700 they want to charge me to repair my brand new, $4,000 laptop. And sure, Xotic PC told me that I could use my once-and-done Accidental Damage Protection coverage to cover the cost, but then what happens if I actually do drop the thing or something later on? I'm just out of luck?

Honestly, I'm really disappointed with Xotic PC and their lack of support in this whole mess. I mean, I wouldn't recommend buying from them, and I definitely won't be buying from them again unless they can fix this situation pronto.

Xoticpc Disappointing Experience with Xoticpc: False Promises and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, my experience with Xoticpc was a bit of a rollercoaster. I was looking for a new computer and stumbled upon their website. After some back and forth with their staff, I decided to place an order on December 13th. They told me it might take up to 20 days, but that all the parts were available.

Now, here's where things get a little frustrating. They charged my credit card right away, even though the shipping date was still a ways off. I figured, hey, if they're charging me, they must have all the parts ready to go, right?

Wrong.

Turns out, the CPU wasn't actually in stock. Either they knew this and didn't tell me, or their inventory tracking system is seriously lacking. Either way, I didn't find out until the end of December that my parts wouldn't be available until the end of January 2022.

Now, I get that COVID and international shipping delays are out of their control. But what really irked me was that they lied about part availability for a whole month. All I got were empty promises that I needed to be patient and wait for the normal build process. Meanwhile, my credit card had already been charged.

Long story short, I wouldn't recommend buying anything from Xoticpc. Their customer service was pretty terrible, too. All I got were a bunch of empty platitudes, and they couldn't even answer my questions about laser etching our company logo on the side after two months.

It's a shame, really. I was excited to get a new computer, but this whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. If you're thinking about buying from Xoticpc, I'd say look elsewhere.

Xoticpc XoticPC Review: Terrible Business Policies and Customer Support

So, I was browsing the internet on Black Friday morning and stumbled upon XoticPC's deal on the MSI Raider GE-63. I thought it was a great deal and decided to buy it. A few hours later, I was looking for a laptop sleeve on Amazon and needed to check the dimensions of my new laptop. I went back to XoticPC's store page and saw that the laptop was now $250 cheaper than when I bought it. I was pretty upset about this, but I knew that I wasn't entitled to a rebate or anything like that. I contacted customer support and they told me that they don't match prices for promotions. I was pretty disappointed with their policy, to be honest.

I mean, other companies like Newegg offer price match for the entire month of November, but XoticPC doesn't even offer it for a few hours! It's ridiculous. I could have just cancelled my order and reordered with the sale price, but customer support took 3 days to get back to me and I didn't realize they had such terrible business policies. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.

Honestly, I wouldn't purchase anything else from this company. Their policies are just too ridiculous. I don't understand why they can't offer price match for at least a few days. It's not like they're losing money or anything. They're just being greedy.

After dealing with customer "support," I've cancelled my order. First they claimed it was against their policy. Then, they claimed it was a clerical error. After that, they claimed the laptop wasn't even on sale during Black Friday. Yet I have email proof that it was. It's like they're trying to cover up their mistakes or something.

Overall, I would say that XoticPC is an awful company. They probably sell refurbished PCs as "custom made." Don't trust these liars. Stay away from them.

Xoticpc Xoticpc Review: Terrible Customer Service and Defective Products

I recently purchased a laptop from Xoticpc for a whopping $2k. Unfortunately, on the very first day, I encountered a defective product. The laptop was giving me a Blue Screen of Death, the fans were making loud noises, and the screen quality was poor. The screen was locked at 8-bit colors, and the entire screen flickered if there was a wide range of colors and brightness on the screen. I immediately contacted Xoticpc for assistance.

To my dismay, they delayed my RMA for over a month, and when they finally got back to me, they said that my refund was out of the time frame. They diagnosed it as a software issue, which was not true and was only meant to delay me. Once the refund window was closed, they offered to repair it if I shipped it back. However, they failed to repair the computer, and it was still damaged when they shipped it back to me. I had to send it to MSI, who determined that it was the RAM memory that was causing the issue. XoticPC either willfully did this because it was the RAM they installed or are just incompetent. They failed to provide accurate diagnosis on multiple occasions, through email and with the physical device.

So now, I've shipped it on three separate occasions to get it repaired, just so I can sell it. It's already October, and I purchased the laptop in June. This is the timeline you're looking at if you ever purchase from Xoticpc and have a problem.

To make matters worse, they are now attempting to delete and remove all my negative reviews from other websites. Instead of offering me my request of a refund, which I 100% deserve, they attempt to delete all negative reviews. If you see that they have better reviews on one site than another, it's because they delete all bad reviews from websites. They would rather pay some website to delete reviews rather than treat customers on a moral ground. They will talk down to you as they pretend to care just to get you to be quiet.

In conclusion, Xoticpc is not a company that I would recommend to anyone. They are not trustworthy, and they do not care about their customers. If they refunded everyone who was owed one due to defective devices, they would be out of business.
