It has almost been 3 and a half years since I requested a refund for three return flights from Dubai to Saudi Arabia and to this day, they have still not given me my refund of AED 4700. The flights were booked for Umrah. I booked flight in January 2020 and my refund was approved in March 2020 and I have still not received the funds back for the flight tickets. I have exhausted all contacts with them and probably have roughly 50-60 emails and they have still not returned my money. Everytime I contact them they send a generic message still using the pandemic as an excuse and that they are inundated with queries. There are new and different lies from them every time, from asking me to provide evidence of my credit card statements, to telling me they have processed my refund, to lying to me and telling me that the airline haven't refunded the money yet, to telling me that they are waiting for a third party supplier to send the money to them etc! Every made up lie they can use to avoid returning my money and making me send documents for no reason. I even managed to get the evidence from Saudi Airline to prove that they had refunded the funds from their side to Travelstart, but Travelstart still ignored all of this! This has been going on for over 3 years. I have exhausted all means of contact with this unlawful company. I reached out to them by all their phone numbers I could find (In South Africa, Egypt, UAE etc) on Facebook and all their contact email addresses in the Middle East. I have so many emails from them which I can provide you with which shows all the dishonesty I have experienced with them.

I am within my rights to have my money back especially when Saudi Airline returned the money to them but they failed to return it to me. They are still using Covid-19 as an excuse to avoid communication and avoid paying what’s owed to customers. I know I am not the only customer experiencing this but I expect they think people will eventually give up. Their level of appalling professionalism and how they can operate still as a business is shocking and concerning to me. It is no fair or just that they are getting away with taking people's honest money and causing so much distress and anxiety. My booking reference was: AE07730526

Desired outcome: Full refund to my card.
