Designed and purchased a Tingdene manufactured Lodge. Initial customer support on build was OK. But mis sold the properties of their Termo wood by park operator (Billing Aquadrome Pure leisure) and Tingdene. Now wood has patchy colours and extensive mould after 6 months . Had a 5 month battle to re-fit a terrible mismatch of a white kitchen. Multiple heating leaks/failures. Insulation was so badly fitted.. Had 17 days off work . BroKen promises and failure to attend remedial dates. Now gone legal to park operator. Tingdene are the worst company I have every parted with my money to. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE ! Customer services full of people with out the power to switch alight . Comes from the management and Directors. They should be named and shamed.

Just an update on my item above. In short we have received not a gram of help or support from Tingdene. Three months later we are still awaiting the missing items to be fitted. The broken toilet has not been repaired. It seems they just don't give a damn. after over a dozen phone calls to Tingdene we did receive a letter stating their engineer will be calling to repair/replace all items needing attention on 19th June. On the day we waited, and waited. Two phone calls to Tingdene that morning, requesting when the engineer was coming resulted in us being told they did not know his work schedule for that day. When still no engineer after lunch we called again. Tingdene claimed no knowledge of any engineer calling on us at all! Said they had no outstanding work listed for our home! Claimed no knowledge of their letter confirming his appointment! In short they claimed to know nothing at all about us, the faults to be fixed within our new home or any agreement to send an engineer to fix the faults! Unbelievable! After several further calls and being given the run around we were promised a return call from one Victoria (no surname?) No return call you'll be surprised to learn. Every time we called either Victoria was in a meeting and would call us back or was out and would call us back. No call back attempted. Took the advice of their Nick Burgess in an above posting and e-mailed the directors. Attached the Tingdene confirmation of engineer calling letter and a summary of our problems within the last few days. Received a VERY curt auto-mail in response stating that the directors would not even bother to respond to our e-mail unless we had already gone through the "established" complaints procedure. Think we must have tried all their complaints procedures, their complaints department staff and every thing we could think of in the last three months and got absolutely no where with this dreadful company. They have not even responded to the e-mail to their directors as yet. They do not seem to care once they have your money. Would like to go and chain up the dozen or more top of the range Range Rovers in the directors car park and hold the key until our house (our home) has been fixed properly

We also have just purchased a new Tingdene home. Once they had our money they were able to treat us any way they wished. For six months we have asked for and been granted a delivery date of 20th March. Then we heard from one Laurence Boyle and everything went to pot. First he pursuaded us to have it delivered earlier. We re-arranged all our contractors such as builder, sparks, plumber, LPG gasman, etc. Then the boyle (as we call him) is back on the phone changing our delivery date back to where it originally was. No reason or explanation given. He does not answer his e-mails. Next we know they move us back again and one Stephanie Clements is on the e-mail clammering for money. No reply from her to our e-mails either. Next they move us back yet again. By now our contractors are having a fit with us and its not our fault, or their's. Some three weeks after its delivery we are still awaiting confirmation of its impending delivery!
Bits are missing which we have pointed out but no response - Surprise surprise. No welcome letter either. Seems everyone at Tingdene is leaving. We were told someone left under a cloud but we can not say why. That Nick Burgess was copied into every one of our dozen or so e-mails but we never heard a word from him. "Sales Executive" he styles himself as well!
Build quality is not what it should be, or anywhere near it. I wil need to spend goodness only knows how much time under the chalet putting in proper insulation before the winter, and put it in properly. They must think just because we can't see it it don't matter. Same applies to the loft. Large bare patches between the raffers and joists.
This is not what we expected from Tingdene. Rest assured homes two and three will not be Tingdene built.
One beacon of light in all this "Gloomdene" was the siters. LDG Parkhome Services. Great workers Lee, Ross and David. We found out more from them than we ever did from Tingdene. They worked hard. Turned our 45x20 home on a sixpence and finished it of a treat. We recommend LDG but get rid of Tingdene.

Tingdene do have many satisfied customers and any one who has an interest in reading good reports/letters on the high standards of workmanship and service levels that Tingdene have recieved over the past 6 months should email sales @tingdene.co.uk . Tingdene does appologise to clients who have waited longer than they should for works to be completed in certain situations and do their up most to make sure this does not happen.

Tingdene do take their customer complaints very seriously and if there are any issues with the way customers feel they are being handled Tingdene have a complaints proceedure to follow. Go to directorsoffice@tingdene.co.uk

i totally agree Tingdene homes are just awful .My home has had nothing but problems since it was delivered in Feb 2010 and Ive now discovered through the net and going to speak to other Tingdene owners that there aftersales and i have to say quality of there homes are terrible.I have pictures emails and letters to back up what i am saying. Im now 2 years down the line with a home that for 10 months has had water leaking into the wood and getting under the stucco which they have not yet repaired. They have tried three times and have not yet been able to solve the problem so I have a bare piece of board showing which is about 10cm by 90cm long .For 1) it is very embarrising and 2) its drove me into depression and I have bald patches in my hair due to stress 3) i have lost over 2 weeks holiday days from work which i have had to keep using for them to attend to the problems and they also let you down without notice . I am 32 years old and i dread to think what type of toll this would take on an elderly person who just wants comfort and easy living when the retire to a park home,
