I had a similar response to Meghan C. After a 5 hour wait, we were told it would be several more hours. We said we would just come and get the dog and when we got there, we were severely accosted by the owner's wife, who followed us out to the car claiming she would call the police over not paying her $54.72 for "services rendered". NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE at all, the pup stayed the entire 5 hours in a small cage. She said we were guilty of shoplifting. A terrible experience with a terrible owner's wife. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I've been a customer at Tidy Dog's for more than 5 years, and I've noticed that their customer service has been getting worse. However, I've stuck with them because they always made sure my dog had a good experience. They would take breaks with him to calm him down and continue later. It may seem like a small thing, but it takes time out of their day to accommodate his anxiety. Before Covid, they had a few employees leave, especially the experienced groomers who used to take care of my dog and talk to me about how the visit went. They've had trouble keeping staff for a while now. They also send out emails about closures due to bad weather, lack of employees to handle the schedule, and personal issues like a house fire last month.

Recently, the couple who owns the business were really rude to me on the phone when I called to pick up my dog. They complained about his behavior and said they couldn't do more than give him a bath and trim his feet and sanitary area. They charged me $59 for just that, even though my dog is only 15 pounds and a 10-year-old rescue that I've had for 8 years. When I checked out, I simply mentioned that I would probably find another place that would take the time to properly groom my dog since they only have one groomer left. I also expressed my unhappiness with how they treated me during this visit. But then, the woman started attacking me and my abilities as a pet owner. She said my dog isn't properly socialized or trained and that he needs to be sedated by a vet. She even suggested that I give him away to someone who can take better care of him. Finally, she told my husband and me to leave their business.

I'm worried about how they will treat other pet owners in the future, especially since they can't handle customer issues or criticism.
