Man, I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with TheBirdHouseBarn. I mean, I'm kicking myself for not checking out the reviews before I went ahead and ordered from them. But now I know better, and I'm telling you, don't make the same mistake I did. This place is a total scam.

I don't know how they do it, but somehow they managed to take my money and not give me what I ordered. I mean, come on! That's just not right. I feel like a total fool for falling for their tricks. But hey, you live and you learn, right?

So yeah, if you're thinking about ordering from TheBirdHouseBarn, just don't. Save yourself the hassle and the disappointment. Trust me, it's not worth it. There are plenty of other places out there that actually deliver what they promise. Don't waste your time with these guys.

I bought a bird house from TheBirdHouseBarn website back in November 19. It's been a long time since then, and it's now 2022, but I still haven't received anything. What's worse, all my money was taken, and I can't get a refund. It's really frustrating, and I don't recommend buying from this person. It's a total scam, and he won't even apologize for the inconvenience. I'm really disappointed with the service, and I hope no one else has to go through this.

So, I was waiting for like 5 months and sent a bunch of emails to TheBirdHouseBarn (thebirdhousebarn.com) to get my bird house. Finally, I got it, and let me tell you, it was not worth the wait. It was just a plain wooden box with some painted windows and a roof that wasn't even sealed. I mean, come on, where's the detail? I feel like I got ripped off big time.

And don't even get me started on their website. It's a total fraud. The houses they show on there look nothing like the one I got. I mean, what's the deal? I thought I was getting a quality bird house, but instead I got a shoddy wooden box.

Overall, I would not recommend TheBirdHouseBarn to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I'm so disappointed with TheBirdHouseBarn. I ordered a birdhouse for my sister's birthday and was promised it would arrive by September 18th. But it's been weeks and I still haven't received it. The seller keeps saying it's ready to ship, but hasn't even asked for my address yet. I'm starting to think this is a scam. I can't believe PayPal is doing business with someone like this. I wish I had done my research before giving them $735. It's a costly mistake that I won't make again.

I been waiting for like 8 months for this 13 inch salt box house from TheBirdHouseBarn. I was so excited for it, but when it finally came, it was only 14 inches! And the windows were all crooked and stuff. I was so bummed out, man. I asked for my money back, but the owner said he already shipped it out on Nov 7th. It's now Dec 8th and I still haven't gotten my money back. I wouldn't recommend buying from this place, dude. Just go to a store and get one in person. This was the worst ordering experience I've ever had. I'm never buying from them again.

I recently had an experience with TheBirdHouseBarn and it was not a good one. I had ordered a package and unfortunately, it was sent to the wrong address. Instead of going to 1771 Elizabeth Ave Apt #i, it was sent to 1711 Elizabeth Ave Apt #D. This caused a lot of confusion and frustration for me.

To make matters worse, when I contacted TheBirdHouseBarn about the issue, they were not helpful at all. They told me that the refund would go to them since they had paid for the shipping through FedEx. This made no sense to me and I felt like they were just trying to take advantage of the situation.

To add insult to injury, I had already paid TheBirdHouseBarn $575.00 for the package and now they were getting paid again by FedEx. It's hard to say what was even in the box at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was something useless like a dead skunk or a brick.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with TheBirdHouseBarn and their fraudulent business practices. I would not recommend them to anyone and I plan on sharing my negative experience with others online. It's just not right to premeditate and steal from a disabled widow like myself.

I was so stoked when I stumbled upon The Birdhouse Barn while on the hunt for someone to make me a custom birdhouse. Fred Heartley, the owner, was a total breeze to work with and the whole process of ordering was a piece of cake!

I had my heart set on a birdhouse that looked just like my grandparents' old house, which they sold a few years ago. I was over the moon to find someone who was both reliable and had the skills to create such a beautiful birdhouse. I live all the way down in TX and Mr. Heartley is from WV, so I was a little worried about shipping something so delicate. But let me tell you, the house was packed up so well that I reckon it could have fallen out of an airplane and still been in tip-top shape when it landed. I would highly recommend Fred's services for birdhouses, and I've already put in a second order with him for a primitive TV stand that I've been hankering for. He makes a little bit of everything, and he's darn good at it too.

All in all, The Birdhouse Barn is a great business!

I gotta say, I had a real bad experience with TheBirdHouseBarn. I was lookin' for a birdhouse to put in my backyard, and I stumbled upon their website. I saw this birdhouse that looked like the bell tower at Chautauqua, NY, and I thought it would be perfect. So, I ordered it in the fall of 2022 and Fred, the guy who runs the place, told me that if I paid him $495 by Nov. 1, I would have the birdhouse by Christmas.

Well, let me tell ya, Christmas came and went and I still didn't have my birdhouse. About 3 days before Christmas, Fred wrote me and said "you won't have your birdhouse by Christmas, hope that's ok". I was pretty upset, but I figured it would come soon enough. But it didn't. So, I filed a dispute with PayPal, but Fred is a real smooth talker and he managed to talk his way out of it. I asked him for pictures of the work in progress, but he said he didn't have time. Then he told me the birdhouse was in the dryer with other birdhouses, and it would be several weeks before it was ready.

Finally, the birdhouse came and I was mortified. It was nothing like what I had ordered. The bell tower is red brick, but he painted the birdhouse a light beige. There are faint shadows of a brick pattern here and there, but it's not even close to what it should look like. The proportions of the door and windows are all messed up, and there's a clock on the bell tower that looks absolutely ridiculous. Fred nailed on a watch face type item that was supposed to look like a clock, but it's only about 1.25" high on a 2' birdhouse.

I gotta tell ya, this was a total scam and a waste of $495. My recommendation to you, the consumer, is to stay far away from TheBirdHouseBarn. If you want a poorly made birdhouse, loads of lies, and absolutely NO timeline, then go ahead and order from Fred. But if you want something that's actually worth your money, then look elsewhere.

The Birdhouse Barn, run by a guy named Fred Heartley, is not the best place to do business with. I ordered a birdhouse from their website and they said it would take 8 weeks to arrive, but it could take up to 16 weeks. After 17 weeks, I reached out to them to ask when I could expect my order. Fred replied a week later saying that he would have tracking information as soon as it shipped. But 5 weeks later, I still hadn't received any updates, so I asked again. This time, Fred sent me a pamphlet with pictures of their products and a note saying that their items are handcrafted and cannot be cancelled.

I was getting frustrated at this point, so I filed a claim with Paypal, which I used to pay for my order. Fred sent me the pamphlet in a cardboard sleeve with a tracking number to prove that he had sent something to me. Paypal denied my claim because they thought that something had been delivered to me. But I knew that Fred was trying to trick Paypal into thinking that he had shipped my order. So I contested the decision and Paypal finally agreed that Fred had not sent me what I had ordered. They credited my account, but now Fred is threatening to charge me for my item when it's finished.

Fred's excuse for the long wait time is that their items are made to order and handcrafted. He said that they build a large volume of orders at one time and finish them in steps so that they can make multiples of each product. He also said that they are making 6 of the same birdhouses that I ordered for many customers. But if they're making 6 of the same item at a time, then it's not really custom made to order. And waiting 25 weeks for an item that should have arrived 2 months ago is ridiculous.

I wish I had done more research on this company before I ordered from them. After looking them up, I found out that some people have been waiting for over a year for items that cost over $500 and still haven't received them. It's clear that The Birdhouse Barn is not a reliable business and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed about my experience with TheBirdHouseBarn. I was really excited to get a replica birdhouse for my Grandpa, and after checking out a bunch of different options, I decided to go with Fred Heartley's website because the pictures of his work looked amazing! But when I finally got my birdhouse, it was a huge letdown. There was a big piece of wood broken off the front porch, and the brick detailing was nowhere near as cool as what I saw on the website. Plus, I paid extra for a deck with a bunch of spools, but all I got was four pieces of wood slapped on the side. What a ripoff!

I tried to get in touch with Fred to see if we could work something out, but he was super slow to respond and not very helpful. He said he had a lot of orders this year, which I guess is fine, but that's no excuse for shoddy workmanship. And when I asked him if he would post pictures of my birdhouse on his website, he didn't even bother to reply. That's just rude.

Honestly, I feel like I could have done a better job building this thing myself, and I don't know anything about carpentry! It's really disappointing to spend all that money and not get anything close to what I was expecting. And to top it all off, Fred wouldn't even give me a partial refund. What a jerk.

I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I did, so I'm leaving this review to warn others. Don't waste your time or money on TheBirdHouseBarn. The pictures on the website might look great, but the actual product is a total letdown. Save yourself the hassle and find a different birdhouse maker.

Got myself a custom birdhouse from TheBirdHouseBarn 2 years back. Paid $1050 upfront, but still no sign of it. Fred keeps saying it's on the way, but it's been nothing but lies so far. I even filed a complaint with the BBB, but no luck. Fred, if you're reading this, please keep your promises and give me my money back.

I gotta say, I was really let down by TheBirdHouseBarn. I forked over a whopping $350 for what turned out to be just a few measly pieces of plywood slapped together. I mean, come on! I could've done that myself for a fraction of the cost. And to make matters worse, when I tried to reach out to the owner to express my dissatisfaction, they completely ignored me. But when I left a negative review on Google, suddenly they had plenty to say - and none of it was very nice, if you catch my drift. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.
