I got 8 HOA violation letters from Melrose Management in just one day!

I got 8 HOA violation letters from Melrose Management in just one day! They sent me the first notification, warning, and fine all at once. When I called to ask questions, the property manager was super mean and even hung up on me! I'm a disabled vet and I've never been treated so bad. I thought they were supposed to help us, not be mean. I asked for the HOA records by email, but they won't give them to me even though it's the law in Florida.

Melrose Management take care of my neighborhood's HOA and they sent me a letter on September 14 saying I owed them $12

Melrose Management take care of my neighborhood's HOA and they sent me a letter on September 14 saying I owed them $12. I asked for more info and they gave me my account ledger but didn't say where the mistake was. Later they said it was in 2016 and they said I paid $32 for my December HOA dues that they said were $44. I showed them proof that the dues in December were only $40 and that I paid with a check. Last week I gave them a copy of the check from my bank. They've had it for over a week and keep saying accounting or the boss of the property manager has to deal with it. They said they might put a lien on my house because of their bad accounting. I'm asking for help. I'm sending the 2016 HOA budget that shows the dues, but I don't want to put the check on a website that's open.
