I am very frustrated I had guests over for dinner.
I Bought a box of shake and bake for pork chops and when I opened the box not only was there only 1 shake bag but the one that was in the box was defective. It was sealed so far from the bottom it left me about 1/2 a bag to work with.
I was feeding a family of 5.
Very frustrating.
and embarrassing.
First the “Value” size package lost a third of its “value” by changing from six bags to four. Now, the value is even more diminished with the removal of the shaker bags. I’m done! I’ll make my own bread crumb coating mix!
Shouldn't charge for the box packets come in! What about cardboard waste? Paying way too much for 2 lil brown packets in a box...$2.50?
No bags!? Your adding to plastic waste. I now have to buy bags to shake. Those bags are using more plastic than if you put them in the box. It says shake and bake yet there’s nothing to help me shake. Change the name it will cost less for you to not use the extra ink and make it cheaper. Absolutely ridiculous. Pay more get less.
Use a reusable plastic container with a lid. it works just fine.
Totally Agree about the no pouches! How cheap can you be? Not only has the price increased now they are packaging without the two pouches! I will no longer buy this product.
Coming on here with my question.. it seems I am not the only one.. I just purchased Shake n Bake Chicken coating from Costco in Nanaimo, B.C and there were no shaker bags at all in the box.. are they doing away with the shaker bags? Thankyou Kerry Miller
Yes. I had called months ago because I purchased a box and it had no bags. I thought my box was defective. The company has decided to remove the bags to reduce plastic waste and help the planet. I don’t see how that’s working because now I have to buy more gallon Ziploc bags so I can shake before I bake. Let’s say what it really is, they want to reduce the amount of money they’re putting out without altering the price of their product. I’m still paying the same amount and now have to purchase additional bags. Very disappointing.
Me too. Parmesan crusted. No bags. If I’d been at a cabin I’d be screwed. I uses a zip lock bag but defective box
Use a plastic container instead. Works just as well!
My question is in a 10 pack variety box of chicken shake n bake, there is no way to know which package is the crispy or regular. How do you tell which is which. Most times the numbers can not be read and what do the numbers mean?
I purchased several packages of shake n bake and they were all missing the shaker bags. Several purchases and several varieties and at different times at my favorite supermarket. I think you have a problem with your factory work.
