The Groves Townhomes and Apartments I moved into a townhome that wasn't ready for me to move in

I moved into a townhome that wasn't ready for me to move in. I haven't even moved all my stuff in because everything is wrong with the townhome. The floor has bubbles in it, the dishwasher doesn't work, the hot water doesn't work, the light in the kitchen is out, and the apartment was dirty when I moved in. There was *** on the toilets from somebody using it before move-in, weed on the counter, blunt marks on the window seal, the oven was dirty, and the cabinets were dirty. I even found a baby sock in the dishwasher and a dirty bottle ***. I did a walk-through before moving in, and she assured me that when I move in, it was going to be clean. But when I got my keys, I had the same problems. I have called and called for problems to be fixed, and they say they are going to get right to it, but they haven't. What was the point of paying all this money if no one can fix anything? I can't move completely into my apartment because I have to shower somewhere else, and I had to deep clean the whole townhome before I could move in, and I still haven't been able to. I'm just so upset about the unfair treatment towards me, and I'm a new tenant.

The Groves Townhomes and Apartments I lived here for 7 years and my air conditioner broke on July 3rd

I lived here for 7 years and my air conditioner broke on July 3rd. I called "emergency maintenance" a bunch of times but no one answered. It was so hot that I had to sleep in my car that night. I pay over $800 every month and they can't even fix my air conditioner when it's over 90 degrees outside. The new company that took over doesn't take care of anything, not even the outside area. I'm really unhappy and might have to sleep in my car again tonight.

In the master bedroom there is water stains on the ceiling, that was first told to the leasing office in October . Mold has now set in. New leak and water stains on a wall by a window has started. I reported that as well. Air conditioner is running non stop, this will make my electric bill go up. When i advised the leasing office of this i was told Tony the maintenance guy was at lunch and would get to it. He never came to fix it.

They ain't sending out the rent statements every month. The statements got the water, sewer and trash bills in 'em. I call 'em up and they say to just pay the same as last month. I don't know how much the water, sewer and trash bills are. They ain't telling me the amounts. They also ain't doing the maintenance requests. I put in a request months ago and they ain't done nothin'. It's been raining in my bedroom for two years. My ceiling is brown with rain spots. They said they got bids out with contractors, but it don't take a year to get 'em.

The Groves Townhomes and Apartments I had some problems with my place at The Groves Townhomes and Apartments

I had some problems with my place at The Groves Townhomes and Apartments. I put in a work order on October 4, like they asked, for four things that needed fixing: the stove wasn't working, the dishwasher was busted, the bathroom ceiling light was out (I can't change the bulb), and the bathtub needed resurfacing. But they never got back to me about it. So I called them up on November 17 and put in the work order again, this time over the phone. They told me the first one had been closed. When I called the office (not using the work order system), they said the management company had changed. But they still didn't fix anything. The property manager said she'd call me back, but she never did. The assistant manager acted like she didn't know anything and was really mean about it.

The Groves Townhomes and Apartments I signed my lease in 2022 and there was no info in the lease saying that the water/sewer/trash bill would double

I signed my lease in 2022 and there was no info in the lease saying that the water/sewer/trash bill would double. I paid my rent in Jan and Feb. I paid my rent in March and I asked why the bill for water $135.00 which includes water, sewer, and trash. I spoke with someone named ***. She said she didn't know, and that everyone is complaining and she doesn't know what's going on. I live alone and I'm a senior. I have my receipts from Jan and Feb. The amount for my water sewer and trash has been different each month. Once they would charge each building divided the tenants, and that would be the amount the tenant would have to pay. Now, some people could be living with 5 or more people. They went from that to this. I don't want my bill to be doubled.

The Groves Townhomes and Apartments I been living here for almost a year now

I been living here for almost a year now. I been waiting to get my stove replaced since I moved in here. It's so old and I can barely open it. I talked to multiple people over the year (when they decide to answer the phone) and have sent emails and videos and still no new stove. I been waiting to get a leak fixed for months. My mail is constantly being stolen because for the past year my mailbox does not properly lock. No one ever answers the phone. I been trying to get in contact with someone from the office for a while and she is either never in or they don't answer my call. I had problem after problem living here and no one wants to act like an adult and fix the problem. Even today October 5th, I called the office 4 times during my work day to speak to someone about my account and each time no answer the person is not available. This is really unprofessional. Also, when are yall going to clean these halls? There filthy, I have multiple maintenance request that never get resolved. This apartment complex is sad.

The Groves Townhomes and Apartments I called the leasing office on November 12 because my ceiling was leaking

I called the leasing office on November 12 because my ceiling was leaking. They said they would put in a maintenance request. I emailed the property manager on November 16 about the ceiling. On November 17, I spoke with the property manager and they said a contractor would come out to fix the ceiling if needed. The property manager sent in a maintenance request on the same day. Maintenance came to look at the ceiling on November 22. On December 10, I spoke with the property assistant because the property manager was out. The assistant was supposed to call me on December 14 after meeting with the property owners, but I never received a call. I haven't heard anything since maintenance came out on November 22. I've called the leasing office many times to speak to the property manager, but they're never in. This is frustrating because this is the second apartment unit I've moved into because something was wrong with the unit. The staff members in the leasing office are very rude and they don't seem to care about residents.

The Groves Townhomes and Apartments My apartment is a disaster

My apartment is a disaster. I got two bathrooms, but neither of the toilets flush. They overflow every time. The maintenance guy came twice and snaked the toilet, but it didn't help. He said he needed a special tool to fix the water pressure, and also needed to check if they had an extra water pump for the fridge. He came back the next day, but the fridge was still not working. He didn't even touch the toilet that day. They finally replaced the fridge, but my house still smells like a sewer. I've been calling the property manager every day, but she's always "not there" or "in a meeting". They said they don't have enough maintenance guys, and the ones they have get 75 tickets each. I've been dealing with this toilet problem for a whole month now. I want a refund for the food I lost because of the fridge, which is $427.94.
