Roomgo Easy Room Mate Review: Not Worth the Money, Try Spareroom Instead

I've used easy room mate a few times before, but I've never actually found a tenant through them. Recently, I decided to give them another try, along with another site I use called spareroom. I reactivated an old ad on easy room mate, but I didn't upgrade it. However, as soon as I reactivated it, I started getting alerts for messages and such. The catch was that I had to pay to reply to these messages. Just out of curiosity, I decided to pay up and see what would happen. Unfortunately, none of the messengers replied back to me. Throughout the months of my paid subscription, I hardly received any messages. And the ones I did receive weren't even interesting to me.

My subscription ended yesterday, and since it expired, I've been getting loads of interest from potential tenants. This isn't the first time this has happened either. I've had a gut feeling about easy room mate since I first used them years ago. I also think that most of the ads on there are fake, just to get people to pay up the ?29.99 fee. It's a waste of money, in my opinion. There's not enough detail on the ads to let you know about the people looking for accommodation.

The site itself isn't very user-friendly either. It doesn't tell you whether you've already contacted someone, which can be very annoying when you're looking through messages. On the other hand, I use spareroom.com, and it does exactly what I've stated above. I think that spareroom has more to offer, with a simple messaging system and a search facility where you can pick out your preferences. It also gives you a full description of the person and tells you if you've already contacted them.

I'm very particular with my tenants and will only accept those who fit my preferences. You do get the occasional person who lies in their profile, but you can usually weed them out pretty quickly. In my honest opinion, I wouldn't bother with easy room mate.

Roomgo Beware of EASYROOMATES.COM: A Scam Review

I gotta give a shoutout to all the people who put EASYROOMATES.COM on blast for being a straight-up scam. I was on the hunt for a room to rent in St. Louis and stumbled upon an ad on Craigslist that seemed legit. The rent was reasonable, the amenities were standard, and they even threw in a "private entrance" which made it seem like a steal. But then, the catch - I had to sign up for EASYROOMATES.COM to get in touch with the supposed landlord/homeowner.

Now, I ain't no fool. I know how these Craigslist scammers operate, always trying to drive traffic to some bogus website. So, I did my due diligence and looked up EASYROOMATES.COM. And let me tell you, the reviews were not pretty. People were losing money, their identities were getting stolen, and all sorts of shady stuff was going down.

So, I dodged a bullet by not falling for this con-artist's trap. And let me just say, the fact that every response from EASYROOMATES.COM was from someone named VICTORIA is just plain suspicious. Like, can't they invest in some more names or something? And don't even bother apologizing, VICTORIA. You're just wasting your breath.

Long story short, if you're looking for a room to rent, stay far away from EASYROOMATES.COM. Trust me, it's not worth the risk.

Roomgo Beware of Rental Scams on Easyroommate.com: My Experience

So, I was hit up by someone from easyroommate.com yesterday (11/2/17) who said they could hook me up with a sweet studio apartment in a fancy part of Chicago for way less than I thought I'd have to pay. I was a little suspicious, but the guy seemed cool enough. He said all I had to do to lock down the place was transfer $500 to a Bank of America account. But I told him I couldn't do it until next week, and he didn't seem to mind. We set up a meeting for today.

This morning, I hit him up again to make sure the delay wasn't a problem. But then I got an email from someone at easyroommate.com with a weird email address (***@easyroommate.com) saying I had to transfer the money to some dude with an African name within six hours or the deal was off. She also said the guy who contacted me was a "verified landlord" with their service, even though their site says they don't keep a list of landlords, verified or not.

The fact that they wanted me to pay before even seeing the place or signing a rental agreement made me even more suspicious. So I did some digging online and found out that easyroommate.com is known for being a hotbed of rental scams. It was pretty clear to me at that point that the whole thing was a fraud. I mean, who in their right mind would ask for money before you even see the place or sign anything? I told them I wasn't interested and moved on.

Overall, I'd say stay away from easyroommate.com. It's not worth the risk of getting scammed.

Roomgo EasyRoommate.com Review: A Never-Ending Cycle of Spam and Scam

This website is a total scam! They have nothing but fake ads that spam you with the same scripted private messages asking you to email them directly. Once you do, they will further spam you before the profile gets shut down, and another one pops up, sending you the same message with the same scripted private message. It's a never-ending cycle of spam!

When I contacted them for a refund, they were not professional at all. They began long, inaccurate arguments and refused to refund my money. Luckily, my credit card has outstanding service, so I stopped payment with my credit card and reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

I would highly recommend using other websites like HotPads, Trulia, and Craigslist. These websites are free and I got several dozen real responses from real people. Or if you're willing to pay for a site that actually works, try Roomster. Don't waste your money on EasyRoommate.com, unless you enjoy being scammed.

In response to the damage control that EasyRoommate.com is now trying to do below, well, it's simply untrue and I have digital proof. I began an account in fall 2016, got nothing but spam, and closed the account. When I needed a renter again in 2017, I had forgotten that EasyRoommate.com was the site that I had been spammed on, and accidentally reopened a membership. Once the same scripted fake emails started coming in, I remembered it was them, and closed the account. I have since marked my notes going forward so when I need a renter again, EasyRoommates.com is not a site I get suckered by again.

Just because I have a lapse in memory because I am an exhausted, multi-tasking single mom of a young child does not mean this site is not a scam. It was a scam the first time I used it, and the second time I used it not realizing it was the same site that scammed me before. I have even saved the scam emails. And I have a history of all the responses I got to my ads, and no matter how much EasyRoommates.com is trying to do damage control now does not change the fact that I got not double, but 8x the response to my ads on Roomster, Craigslist, and Hotpads, and all by real people, not the same fake spam email. Sorry, but there are a ton of reviews on here that agree this is a scam site.

Roomgo Roomgo Review: A Middleman for Finding Roommates - Worth Checking Out with Some Effort

I gotta say, I was pretty frustrated with Roomgo at first. I had trouble finding an address to complain to, and when I finally did, I got a response that seemed totally false. I mean, have you seen those faces on their website? They look like they were made up! But after a little back and forth with their customer service, I gotta admit, I'm feeling a little better about the whole thing.

So here's the deal: Roomgo is a classified site that's been around for a while. They're based in London, but they operate all over the world. Basically, you post an ad for a room, and they match you up with people who are looking in your area and price range. And apparently, my ad has generated over 200 profiles that are live and active on the site. That's pretty cool, right?

But here's the thing: it's up to me to contact those people. Roomgo is just the middleman. And if someone doesn't log in for 15 days, their ad gets deactivated automatically. So if I'm not hearing back from people, it could be because they haven't seen my message, or they're just not interested. It's not Roomgo's fault.

I also learned that the Premium Membership doesn't really affect your results on the site. It just gives you unlimited access to contact and be contacted by other members. So if you're not being proactive about your search, it's not going to help you much.

Overall, I think Roomgo is a pretty good site. It's not perfect, but what is? If you're looking for a roommate or a room to rent, it's definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared to put in some effort on your end. And if you have any issues, don't be afraid to reach out to their customer service. They might surprise you.

Roomgo Roomgo Review: Total Scam with Zero Functionality and Customer Support

Roomgo - I have to say, I was really excited to try this site out. The design looked promising and I was hopeful that it would help me find a room to rent. However, I quickly realized that this site is a total scam. Even after paying for a premium membership, I was unable to see listings outside of San Francisco. This was a major issue for me, as I needed to find housing in San Mateo and surrounding areas quickly.

I tried to contact customer service using their email system, but the message wouldn't send because it said I hadn't filled in the "Message" parameter. I had definitely filled it in, so I'm not sure what the issue was there. I even included a detailed message explaining my problem and asking for help.

It's frustrating because I have a friend who registered for a free account and they are able to see listings in many cities. As a premium member, I should have even more access to listings, not less. This is a serious problem that needs to be fixed immediately.

I really hope that Roomgo will attend to my issue promptly. If they can't fix the problem, they need to return the money I paid for the premium membership. It's not fair to charge people for a service that doesn't work.

Overall, I would not recommend Roomgo to anyone. It's a total scam with zero functionality and zero ability to complain about it. Beware!

Roomgo Roomgo Review: A Decent Option for Finding a Roommate or Room to Rent

I gotta say, Roomgo ain't half bad. It's definitely got its issues, but overall it's a decent option for finding a roommate or a room to rent. As someone who's looking for a roommate, I appreciate that the site has a good mix of free and premium features. You can create a profile and browse listings for free, but if you want to contact someone or respond to messages, you'll need to pay for a premium membership. It's not ideal, but it's not the worst thing in the world either.

One thing that bugs me about Roomgo is the search function. It's not terrible, but it's not great either. You can search by location, price, and a few other criteria, but there are some basic features that are missing. For example, you can't search for listings that allow pets, which is a big deal for me since I have a dog. Also, the search results aren't always accurate. Sometimes I'll get listings that are way outside my price range or in a completely different neighborhood than what I searched for. It's not a dealbreaker, but it can be frustrating.

Another issue I have with Roomgo is the quality of the listings. Some of them are great, but others are clearly fake or spammy. It's not as bad as some other sites I've used, but it's still a problem. I wish there was a way to filter out the fake listings so I could focus on the ones that are actually worth my time.

Despite these issues, I still think Roomgo is worth checking out if you're looking for a roommate or a room to rent. The premium membership is a bit annoying, but it's not a dealbreaker. And there are plenty of good listings on the site if you're willing to do some digging. Overall, I'd say Roomgo is a solid option for anyone who's looking for a place to live.

Roomgo Beware of Scams on Roomgo: My Experience with a Fake Listing

So, I recently tried out Roomgo (roomgo.net) to find a room to rent while my husband and I sell our home out of state. My husband signed up for the Premium Membership and we were excited to receive an email from a potential landlord within a day. The email had all the details we needed, including the home address, pictures of the home, what was included, and the rent and refundable deposit amounts. We were able to communicate with the landlord via text and set up a date and time to view the home and room.

However, things took a turn when we received an email from ***@easyroommates.com and ***@usa.com with the subject line "Action required! Confirm your viewing request on Easyroommate." The email stated that we needed to pay a $500 deposit in Bitcoin to take the listing off the website. The email also listed Victoria as a customer service contact on the website. We were suspicious of this email, especially since the person who initially emailed us was using someone else's name who is a property manager in San Jose (we are in Texas). We did some digging and found out that the home owner had never put his home up for rent and that the website was a complete scam.

We were lucky to have caught on before we were scammed, but it's a slick scam that preys on people in a specific situation. The FAQ's on the Roomgo website actually list all of this, but we only found it by googling and couldn't access it on the site when logged in as a Premium Member. It's possible that Roomgo is selling customer information, as there was no initial message to or from this person on the website and no Listing ID was in any communication.

I notified ***@easyroommate.com via email, but I don't expect much of a response. It's important to be cautious when using websites like Roomgo and to do your research before making any payments.

Roomgo Roomgo Review: Lack of Safety Measures and User-Friendly Features

Roomgo is one of the many websites I use to advertise my rooms for rent. Over the years, I have contacted their customer service team numerous times to suggest improvements to the site. I have asked them to make the site more user-friendly, improve safety measures, and provide better value for both parties. These improvements would be easy for even a novice webmaster to implement. Unfortunately, my requests have fallen on deaf ears.

In the ten years that I have been renting out rooms, I have encountered more than one stranded and scammed individual who found me through this site. While this is not the fault of Roomgo, it could have been prevented with a few simple precautions. For example, the site could provide basic safety protocols and warnings for users traveling across continents.

I understand that Roomgo is a business, but I believe they could do more to ensure the safety of their users. They could add a fee for verification or provide a basic level of security. However, it seems that Roomgo is opposed to anything that remotely spells work. They have not made any improvements to the site, despite countless emails from me and other users.

What frustrates me the most is that Roomgo seems to be non-responsive to the consistent bad reviews they receive from users. They apologize and offer lame excuses, but they never take any action to improve the site. I have read their replies to reviews, and they are consistent with how they deal with any suggestions, recommendations, or complaints via email.

I decided to do some research to find out who is behind Roomgo. The company is W3 Ltd, founded in 1998. It seems that they have not changed much since then, while their users around the globe have transformed significantly. I found some information about the company on Bloomberg, and I also found a page on their website that lists the founder and his team.

The team includes Yannick Pons, the founder, John Mayfield, the Chief Financial Officer, Karim Goudiaby, the Chief Operating Officer, Benjamin Block, the Chief Technology Officer, and Jeremie Berton, the Vice President of Business Development. They also own other websites, including Vivastreet, HomesForStudents, and WhereToSleep.

On the team page, I read about the responsibilities of each leader. Benjamin Block, the Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for overseeing the technical operations of W3 Ltd. He manages a team of developers, project managers, and QA analysts, as well as a network of vendors and consultants who support the infrastructure and maintenance of each brand. It sounds like they have a great team, so why can't they make the simplest of improvements to their site? Why is nobody willing to grow and give a damn about their users' needs?

In a world where housing is becoming a crisis, we need a hero with passion in this industry who is hungry to fill the void in providing service. Roomgo could be that hero, but they need to step up and make some changes.

Roomgo Roomgo Review: Paid Service with Incomplete Details and Few Responses

I recently stumbled upon Roomgo (roomgo.net) while searching for a room to rent in my property. At first glance, the site seemed promising, but I quickly realized that I couldn't contact any potential roommates without paying for an upgrade. Once I upgraded, I found that there were very few contacts with proper details and very few responses to the emails I sent. Most of the site is filled with flatmates who have incomplete or really sketchy details.

I checked out their customer satisfaction guarantee, and it's complete nonsense. You sign up, pay money, and if you don't get a tenant, they'll renew your service for a month. But there's no mention of what happens if there's no response to your ad or if the details of the member you have are not correct or complete.

Furthermore, the search criteria to narrow down the searches doesn't work. I searched for females, and it gave me details of couples, men, etc. It's frustrating because people put their property up for rent to get some financial stability, not to be ripped off by sites like these. I don't mind paying if it results in an outcome, but this is utter nonsense. They keep sending you matches that are completely opposite to your requirements. It's just a waste of time and effort to look for individuals who seem legit, and then the details are incomplete or near to none.

My advice is to stay away from this site and don't pay any money under any condition. I think if you're paying $49.90 for a service, you should get proper commitments from the company.

In response to the reply from Roomgo, I appreciate the prompt response and action. However, I respectfully disagree with their explanation. My ad has all the information a possible tenant will need when looking for a property. Like any real estate ad that specifies smoking, non-smoking, pet-friendly or non-pet-friendly, for a couple or family, I have made the listing as thorough as possible. I gave my preferences as well as what the basic expectations might be in the household.

Considering Melbourne has a population of over 4.4 million, there will be a few suitable matches to my requirements. Moreover, as their website's sole purpose is to find flatmates or accommodations, I think it's common understanding that people from all races, cultures, or beliefs will look for options and advertise there.

The same ad has also been posted to other online platforms like Gumtree, Facebook, Real Estate, and Uni Housing sites, and I have received much better responses compared to what I had from Roomgo. If it's a paid service, I think my expectation is fair.

Lastly, if I had had a chat with someone within their business, I would have been advised not to go for paid advertising, or I would have been given a heads up on low results. It's quite hard to find where the contact us tab is on their site. From what I can see, first, you have to go to FAQ, then surf through the topics to find which one is relevant, and then there is a contact email provided on that page.

People can contact me for free after seven days, but for me to even look at other people's details or contact them myself, I still needed to pay for their service. In other words, I can understand their point of view, but as a user experience, you can see what my complaints and concerns are and how, as a paid client, my expectations are not over the top.

I do appreciate their response and refund, but if there are some restrictions on possibilities of finding enough or suitable matches, I will recommend they mention them in their terms and conditions, FAQ, or somewhere on the site. If they intend to have paid clients, then they should also have some ways to verify that the person when placing their details is putting correct information like Male rather than couple. Their platform is where both the tenant and the landlord are in vulnerable situations, both parties are strangers, and looking to either move into someone's place or allow someone to move into theirs. I'm not saying that the users are not genuine or good, but there are a lot of people who can be harmful. I think as a website, they should have some social accountability, and that can only be if they have rigid measures on the site.

Thanks again, and please know that I would like for their company to succeed, and I think this constructive feedback is in no way religious or biased.

Roomgo Roomgo Review: A Decent Platform for Finding a Place to Live

This website, Roomgo, is a pretty decent platform for finding a place to live. You start off with a basic profile that says your name and how much you can afford to pay each week. It's not the most detailed profile, but it gets the job done.

I've used other sites before that give you a lot more information about potential roommates, but I appreciate that Roomgo doesn't waste my time by showing me people who aren't a good fit for my home.

I did have a bit of trouble with Easyroomate, though. They were pretty rude when I asked them why they didn't have more detailed profiles. They basically told me that they can't force people to write more information. Fair enough, but I've had better luck with flatmates.com. Their clients seem to be more willing to share information, which makes it easier for me to decide who to contact.

One thing that I did notice is that a lot of my "matches" were looking for places in Sydney or Melbourne, even though my home is in Brisbane. I'm not sure how the matching algorithm works, but it doesn't seem to take geography into account.

Overall, I'd say that Roomgo is worth checking out if you're looking for a place to live. It's not perfect, but it's better than some of the other options out there.

Roomgo Mixed Experiences with Roomgo: Good Roommates, but Watch Out for Weirdos

I gotta tell ya, I've been using Roomgo for a while now and it's been a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, I've found some really great roommates through the site. But on the other hand, there are some real weirdos out there.

One thing that's been particularly frustrating is this person who keeps contacting me under different names and with different pictures, but it's always the same email address. They go by the name Derby and they seem to be really famous or something because I've gotten like 40 messages from them. It's super sketchy and I don't know what their deal is.

But aside from that, I've had some good experiences with Roomgo. I like that you can search for roommates based on things like interests and lifestyle, and I've found that the site attracts a lot of young professionals and students. It's also pretty easy to use and navigate.

That being said, I would definitely recommend being cautious when using Roomgo. There are some real creeps out there, and you never know who you're going to end up living with. But if you're careful and do your due diligence, you might just find your perfect roommate match.

Roomgo Disappointing Experience with Roomgo: Limited Options and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Roomgo. I was hoping to find a room for rent in a big American city with over 3 million people, but they didn't have anything available. So, I decided to expand my search to the entire west coast of the country, and even then, they only had a handful of options. What a rip off!

I reached out to EasyRoommates to see if they could help me out, but all they said was that it might be my filters causing the problem. I removed all my filters and even increased the amount of rent I was willing to pay, but still no luck. How is it possible that a site like this doesn't have any matches in a city with millions of people?

EasyRoommates suggested that I pay for their premium services, but I'm not sure if that's worth it. It seems like the premium service might give you access to matches that you can't see without it, but I'm not sure if I want to take that risk.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Roomgo if you're looking for a place to rent in the U.S. Maybe it's better in Europe, but I can't say for sure. It's just a shame that a site like this can't deliver on its promises.

Roomgo Roomgo vs. Spareroom: A Comparison of Roommate-Finding Websites

I gotta say, I had a bit of a problem with Roomgo. The thing is, if you wanna talk to someone, you gotta pay for a fancy account. Now, if the other person has a fancy account, you can talk to them, but where I'm at, there ain't nobody with a fancy account. So, unless I fork over some cash, I'm outta luck when it comes to finding a new roommate.

Now, I've had much better luck with Spareroom.co.uk. They got their site set up right, you can message anybody, but you gotta wait a week before you can do it. Only the fancy folks can message right away. That's a fair deal, if you ask me.

I been using Spareroom for three years now, and I ain't paid a dime. I ain't never going back to Roomgo, and I don't think you should either, unless they change their ways.

Roomgo Terrible Experience with Roommate Finder Website - Waste of Time and Money

This website is a total waste of time and money. I've been trying to find a roommate for months now, and I've had absolutely no luck. I've shown interest in several people who are looking for a room, but I've never received a single reply. It's really frustrating, especially since my property is clean, tidy, and reasonably priced. I've used other websites in the past that have worked well, but this one is just terrible.

I wish I had checked the reviews before I paid for two months up front. Apparently, this website has a terrible reputation, and I can see why. When I contacted them and asked for a refund, they told me that Premium Membership is entirely optional and that they couldn't give me my money back. They said they could assist me if I got back to them, but I don't see how that would help. If this website was any good, I would have had several people contact me within a month without needing any assistance.

I don't know if this website is just extremely inefficient or if it's a scam, but either way, I wouldn't bother with it. Save yourself the trouble and find a different website to use. Don't make the same mistake I did and waste your money on this useless website. I'm out ?99.99, and there's nothing I can do about it because the website is still live. It's really frustrating, and I don't want anyone else to go through the same thing.

Roomgo Roomgo Review: Total Scam, Don't Waste Your Money

I want my money back from Roomgo. This website is a total scam. They make it seem like they can help you find a place to live, but they don't tell you that you have to pay extra to actually talk to anyone. I paid for a Premium Membership, but I can't even get in touch with the people who are offering rooms. It's a total rip-off.

I'm so angry that I wasted my time on this website. Looking for a place to live is already stressful enough, but Roomgo just makes it worse. And to top it off, they're stealing people's money. It's not right.

I don't know how these people can sleep at night knowing that they're scamming people. It's just wrong. I hope they get what's coming to them. Maybe they'll get a big dose of karma this Christmas. They deserve it.

If you're thinking about using Roomgo, don't waste your time or money. They're just going to scam you. Find another website that actually cares about helping people find a place to live.

Roomgo Mixed Experience with Roomgo: Rising Costs, Decreasing Responses, and Terrible Account Management

I been using Roomgo for a while now to advertise my student houses, and I gotta say, it's been a mixed bag. At first, it was all good, you know? But then last year, the prices went up like crazy, like three times what they used to be. And on top of that, I noticed that the number of people responding to my ads started to go down. Not a good look, you know what I mean?

But the real kicker was when they started messing with my ads. I tried to remove an old floor plan from one of my properties, and they sent me an email saying my changes "had not made the grade." Like, what does that even mean? And then, to make matters worse, they deleted an existing floor plan from the same ad. I was so mad, I had to call them up and give them a piece of my mind.

But even then, they didn't seem to care. They told me it was an error and promised it wouldn't happen again. But guess what? It happened again. I made another change with another floor plan, and they did the same thing. I had to call them up again, and this time, I asked to speak to the person in charge. But they told me they don't take incoming calls and that they would call me back. Well, it's been almost ten hours, and I still haven't heard from them.

Honestly, I don't know if I can recommend Roomgo anymore. The costs keep going up, the responses keep going down, and the account management is just terrible. If you're thinking about using them to advertise your property, you should really think twice.

Roomgo Roomgo Review: Broken Links, Scams, and Frustration - A Warning to Others

I've been trying to use Roomgo for a while now, but it's been a real struggle. I've sent them multiple emails about the issues I've been having, but they keep telling me that their website is working fine. But let me tell you, it's definitely not. Every time I try to use it, it keeps telling me to upgrade my account, even though I already have. And when I look at the other members on the site, none of them seem to have premium memberships either. It's like they're all stuck on the basic plan.

To make matters worse, I can't even see anyone's contact information. What's the point of being on a roommate-finding website if you can't even contact the people you're interested in living with? And don't even get me started on the broken links. Half the time, I click on something and it just takes me to an error page. It's incredibly frustrating.

But the real kicker was when I got an email from someone who seemed interested in being my roommate. They sent me this long, sad story about how their dad had just passed away and their mother died years ago. They wanted to know how much it would cost to move in and how to transfer the money. I was suspicious, so I decided to test them by overstating the rent and bond. I told them it would be $4000 per month and a $4000 bond. And you know what? They didn't even bat an eye. They just replied with even more sad stories about how they were having a dispute with their will and needed me to transfer $15K to them as a token. It was so obviously a scam.

And then there was another person who said they were interested in being my roommate, but their profile said they were looking in Brisbane when I'm living in Victoria. It just doesn't add up. I've already contacted my bank to investigate this website because I paid for a premium membership and it's been a complete waste of money. Please, please don't make the same mistake I did.

Roomgo Roomgo: Beware of Criminal Landlords and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, Roomgo ain't all that great. They responded to my review all wrong, saying they're doing something about it but they still got this landlord who's a total liar, bully, and thief. And we ain't the only ones who know it - there's like 10 other people who've been screwed over by her too.

We even told Easy Roommate about it, but they don't wanna listen to us or believe us. They act like we're all making it up or something. Like, why would we wanna lie about a landlord who kicks people out for no reason, scares them, and takes their money?

The cops helped us get some of our money back, but not all of it. And getting a police report was a real pain in the butt. We had to spend hours trying to get one, and even then we still gotta go to court and wait weeks for it.

But the worst part is that Roomgo keeps listing these houses run by criminals. They know it too, but they don't care. Airbnb, Craigslist, Facebook, and even local housing agencies all banned this landlord, but not Roomgo. And they got all the evidence too, but they still do nothing.

So just be careful, y'all. If anything bad happens to you because of a house they list, they ain't gonna help you unless you got an official police report. And that ain't always easy to get, especially in some countries.

Roomgo Roomgo Review: A Complete Waste of Time and Money for Finding Accommodation

Roomgo is a website that claims to help people find accommodation, but in reality, it is a complete waste of time. Their website is full of fake flatmates who never contact you, and the only time they bother to check the ads is when they are about to expire. This means that you will never find a suitable flatmate on this website.

The website is poorly designed, and it is not uncommon to see couples and families listed for single rooms. This is against the law in New Zealand, but Roomgo does not care about the law. They only care about making money. They claim to have a matching system, but in reality, it is based on price alone. This means that you will be matched with someone who is not suitable for you.

Roomgo charges a lot of money for their services, but they do not provide any value to their customers. They have a ratchet feature that constantly increases prices, and they do not care about their customers. They are only interested in making money.

Their website is so complex that even IT experts find it difficult to use. Despite numerous complaints, they refuse to modify the website. Their management is only interested in making tax-free money, and their operations in New Zealand are illegal. They do not offer full board, even though it is expected.

Roomgo is inflexible, inefficient, and unreliable. It takes up to 21 hours for flatmate emails to reach you, which is unacceptable. They are not interested in providing good service to their customers.

In conclusion, Roomgo is a complete scam. They do not provide any value to their customers, and they are only interested in making money. If you are looking for accommodation, avoid this website at all costs.
