I went into the store to do some shopping for a birthday and spend close on R3000. When I requested my free gift there was "none available" which is almost always the case. When that does happen from time to time I request to take an item from sale items which could be around R60 at most. The Manager of the store yesterday would not hear anything of it. She refused to give me her name, and when I asked for the contact details of the Regional manager she also refused. She became rather vocal and disrespectful in her tone this in front of her collegues and her child. I requested that she take my name and details and contact me when the stock arrives - her response was why didnt you say so in the first place. My points are as follows:
Why may I not contact the Regional manager
Is her name as Store Manager a state secret
Is TFG a daycare?
Why is TFG inconsistent with what the do with regard to the gift situation
Does this manager have the right to address me in the manner transpired
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and I would like my free gift. I dont understand why there is no stock for free gifts unless the staff are taking it for themselves.
