The Concrete Man

tony and his crew did a walk and patio for us. it was so nice to have a contractor who actually did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. the work was excellent and we will definitely be using him again.

I hired The Concrete Man to fix my driveway. I gave him $1,500 upfront (25% of the $6,000 total estimate) on 9/11. But he couldn't get the materials on time. He said he would do the work in November '21, but I refused because I was worried about the ground freezing and causing cracks. I suggested we wait until April this year. I tried to contact him via email and text in April, May, and June, but he didn't respond. I noticed he's still doing business on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TonyTheConcreteMan/). I just want my deposit back.

I got my whole driveway redone by The Concrete Man. It was concrete and asphalt before, but now it's all concrete with a drain grate in front of the garage. The work is amazing and *** was really careful with the details. He made sure that him and his team did it right. I would totally recommend him to anyone who needs work done.

tony and his crew were more than we could of expected. he walked through every step of the process and made sure we knew exactly what we were getting. he showed up on time, was polite and professional. he even gave suggestions after starting the work to make things look even better! the work was amazing and he even came back later to finish a small part of the job instead of waiting until the next day. tony is the way to go for any and all concrete needs.

I got my driveway done by The Concrete Man on August 24th and it was finished on September 8th. Unfortunately, it cracked on September 11th all the way across. We contacted The Concrete Man on September 15th and he asked for pictures, which my husband sent. On October 21st, we noticed that it was holding rain up by the garage. We texted The Concrete Man in November and called him on November 18th, but he didn't respond. On November 21st, he texted my husband and said he would come on November 24th. However, he called on the 22nd and changed it to Saturday the 28th, but he didn't show up or call. We called him again on November 22nd and he said he would fit us in, but we're still waiting for him to show up after a year. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone since he doesn't stand behind his work or his customers. Still waiting.

I talked to The Concrete Man about adding a pool deck. At first, everything was good. Then, he emailed me at 8:30pm on a Tuesday and asked if he could come the next morning for an estimate. I work at night, so I replied at midnight saying I was available and would be home all morning. Wednesday came and went, and at noon, I thought he wasn't coming. He didn't call or email to cancel or reschedule. I don't get why he asked so late if he wasn't available. On Thursday at 5:30pm, he called asking if he could come over. I said no and asked if we could schedule a time that worked for both of us. He said he couldn't commit to a schedule because of concrete jobs and rainy weather. He never apologized for not coming on Wednesday. I asked if he could come on Friday, but he said no. I felt pressured and told him he could come over with his ***-minute-notice. He called back 20 minutes later and declined the job, saying he had a bad vibe. I wasn't rude to him, even after waiting all morning for him. Maybe he thought I was rude when I said "fine" about the sudden estimate. He doesn't respect other people's time. It's good he declined the job. Customers deserve better treatment.
