Teamviewer is a company of thiefs!
Once I paid the first year of license, they auto-renew it without letting me know and automatically picked 417, 60€ via Paypal/bank account. There is no obvious way to cancel the renewal, the client has to send them a message to this end to an address hidden somewhere in the Teamviewer website.

The apparently wrote the renewal was automatic every year in small hidden characters in the contract conditions when purchasing the first time.
This is abuse/scam.

    I purchased this last November for a year.
    This year I didn't want to renew and 2 weeks before the 18th of November (renewal date) I emailed to cancel my subscription.
    They sent me an email on the 21st of September to say, the renewal will take place - but in this email nowhere was said that if I want to cancel, I have to cancel one month in advance! This is misleading.

    In other words, TV wants to trick me and should be forced to have a service, even if I don't want

    I had no information / option / warning before renewal/ that I have to cancel.

      TeamViewerLifetime subscription

      I have tried to contact Teamviewer by phone and put in 2 tickets.
      I purchased a lifetime subscription for $800.00 and have tried to follow their instructions on how to activate my business account but can't figure it out.
      This happens every time they have an update and they force you to update.

      I feel totally ripped off because I can't wait any longer as I have work to do. They are obviously not going to honor the agreement since they don't respond to my tickets. I am forced to buy elsewhere.

      Why does my account not just work after an upgrade? Why do I have to activate anything?

      What a ripoff! people need to know...

        A renewal notice was sent whilst the business was shut, and all employees were on furlough due to COVID restrictions from the UK government.

        This renewal notice was missed and the services which were no longer required auto-renewed and we were invoiced for them.

        We have requested to cancel now but have been told we are now not within terms. We have stressed that we were put in an impossible situation as the notice was sent whilst the business was closed and all employees were on furlough so could not be actioned. They are refusing to budge referring us to their EULA which we think is unfair during these exceptional circumstances.

        We have now been threatened with collection companies if we do not pay.

          Team viewer is a fraud company, they auto renew the license by generating the invoice without customer consent. And they claim that they mention in the policy and invoice document to inform in writing prior to 28 days if we need to terminate the contract.
          If you don't pay then they will threaten you to forward to debt collection agencies

          Apart from this customer support is the worst ever I have dealt with. If by mistake you call the customer support, they will not allow you to speak instead they will only speak and if you say some harsh statement they will disconnect the call.

          Whoever if they read this review, My strong recommendation to not to use the Teamviewer software. Or else use it on your own risk.

            was contacted by rep for version 14 to install and told me amazon showed i ordered 2 items today and team viewer was goiog not only help me not cancel but arrange for refund of 1299.00USD. after being on phone over 1 hr and multiple numbers to enter they said they needed me to send 350usd. when i refused they popped up on my screen joysporn.com and it took me 10 attemps to close it down. when i tried to contact amazon support it interupted my chat and had me using vile language to and receing from amazon. finally able to contact amazon to resolve matter and told them the vile comments were not from me. amazon is having their fraud dept me for further information. i can provide you with numbers they had me to use if desire. [protected]@sbcglobal.net my email address. do you have an address either computer or mailing so i can contact your if have one related better business bureau.

              I have requested that my data is deleted from Teamviewers database in accordance with GDPR, however despite them telling me my this has been done and I am still receiving correspondence / emails from them which I do not want nor did I sign up for. I have registered the complaint as unsolicited calls but it is unsolicited emails.

              I am still receiving these emails from you despite you saying you have unsubscribed me. You should not have any of my data on your database and should have deleted all traces in accordance with data protection.
              Please remove my details or put me through to your Complaints Department as it is illegal to hold my data when I have requested it to be completely removed.

                First a call came in from Wenatchee, Washington [protected] saying I had a refund coming because some protection plan wasn't working and in order to send me a refund they had to connect to my computer, I started following the directions AFTER I asked questions, The guy (Indian voice) started getting really pushy and persistent, I switched to another screen an googled TeamViewer and that's where I found out about it being a scam. I yelled at him saying that he doesn't have very good customer service and told him not to [censored]ing contact me again because customer service professionals aren't pushy and hung up. Then within 5 mins later that same guy called me from Sunnyvale, California [protected], yelling and cussing me out "You [censored]ing [censored], I'm going to block your computer, you [censored]ing [censored]!!" then hung up on me.

                  Hi. I updated TeamViewer software on a remote computer and, instead of the usual situation where you get a message to ask if you wanted to wait for your connection, there was no message and now I have a remote pc, about 240 miles away, that I can't connect to. Why does your software updates do this? I suspect that I NEED to login again and it's just lucky that my son can do this on Monday. I pay a lot of money for the teamviewer software and I expect a better service. Please sort it out!

                    I was scammed by someone who was supposed to be a tech from your service. He said my computer had something wrong with it and needed fixing. Then he started having me go buy Googleplay gift cards, give him the code numbers off the back where you have to scratch off. I was told to shred them up afterwards and to not tell anybody. I purchased nearly $5'000.00 worth of the cards and then I started getting calls from this guy . He said that $3900.00 had been put into my bank account and that was why I was getting these cards to refund the money back. I checked my bank account and all the money was gone. Then he told me that $10, 000.00 had been put into my available credit on my discover card. Of course it wasn, t because I called Discover to find out after I saw that all the available credit had been drained. They more or less robbed me of these two things. I have closed all my accounts, and now seeing charges that were for Skype. I never subscribbed to that. I have started fraud claims with my bank and with my credit card issuers. I will probably never see any of my funds back and will have to pay the charges to my credit cards and my Paypal account. I will never use or reccommend Teamviewer to anyone. It is a shame that people are being wipped out of much needed funds by these people. I hope they are found. Also I didn, t shred the Googleplay cards, and the reciepts of the places I bought them. That way if needed I have them as evidence. The guy calling me was using a Tennessee phone number an I have the name he gave me.I guess it is fake. Any help would be appreciated on this matter. I hope you don't have someone working for you that is pulling this scam on people.

                      I've written our Legal Department, following the email below I will note the fact that we have a license for TM10 that we purchased permanently . After we asked to try a trial version of the new version and decided not to buy you canceled the permanent license of TM10 as a punitive measure contrary to any law or agreement.

                      Our company serves many customers and we are currently disabled and disable other companies, the damage is constant and financial damage is huge.

                      It's embarrassing that a company with a name like yours is doing such a move, we've passed dozens of clients from logmein to TM but we'll make sure everyone is notified of this failure. At the same time, we file a claim for the damages caused to us.
