Warranty Claim US02202520426 – 2/28/2025
I won a TCL Model 55S451 at a restaurant raffle from a local Radio Station. Upon turning the TV on, I noticed a vertical black line from top to bottom on the right side. I called Customer Support to report the issue. They were very helpful in troubleshooting the issue. They escalated me to the warranty department. I repeatedly told them that I did not have a receipt and that I won this in a raffle at a restaurant from a Radio station. They kept pointing me back to a requirement of needing to provide a proof of purchase. I obviously do not have a receipt, and have no idea which Radio station had the raffle. I feel TCL is just using this requirement as a way to not honor their warranty. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Why would I want to purchase a TCL product in which the company will use any excuse not to honor their warranty!
Desired outcome: Honor Warranty and replace TV
