Tarte Customer service

I was not refunded the correct amount after an order I placed did not arrive. I had proof of this however was constantly being told to contact my bank even though I already had and they advised the issue was through Tarte and provided me the proof which I sent. I felt I was taken seriously and the service was unsatisfactory. First, my email was not responded to after the time frame provided, then when I called (which also cost me money as Tarte is based on the USA and I'm in the UK, I was charged at £3 a minute), I was hung up on which was extremely frustrating considering I was paying for the call and only went to that method after Live Chat and email messages were ignored. After many days, my issue still is not resolved. I'm out of pocket from the money I was owed and consequently had to use up my own time and even more money to try to get this resolved, and it still has not been.

Tarte Not Authorizing Purchases and Unethical and Biased Customer Service

I am not sure where to start. I am an individual who appreciates a good product and the hard work that was put into it but most of all I respect the company behind the product. I have been using make up since I've been 14 years old and I'm 40 yrs old now and still use make up. My taste has changed when it comes to cosmetics and I have been using Laura Mercier, Dior, Drunk Elephant, Paula's choice just to name a few. But in the past two months I have been doing a lot of research surrounding every single product I was using and as anyone may know with age you want the best possible for your skin. I happened to be at a friends house and we decided to head out at the very last minute and she allowed me to re-do my make up with her Tarte Collection of products that range from skincare to cosmetics. To say that I was shockingly surprised the way the Tarte products felt on my skin would be an understatement. I fell in love with Tarte right then and there, so I decided that I am going to switch my entire cosmetics collection to Tarte's which means everything from an eyeliner to foundation to moisturizers and so on, I think you understand what I'm trying to say. My horror story started on April 15, 2020 when my first order got shipped. At first I was excited and just couldn't wait to receive the items but when I finally received the package, two of my items were missing. They weren't shipped at all. So I had to start the whole spend an hour or two on the phone thing. Today is May 02 and I still didn't receive the replacement items. At this point, I thought mistakes happen and I will still go ahead with ordering my collection as there is no stopping now. On April 23rd I placed another order with Tarte and here it is

and every time I would place an order I would get excited as I know how certain items felt on my face the one time I tried them. It all came crashing down on April 24th literally a day after I placed my order I received an email that my order has been cancelled. No explanation, no understanding for situation I was put in or any mention of the inconvenience I was being put through. I contacted Tarte and asid "I have been waiting all day for an email from Tarte and never received one until I checked the status of my order and it said "CANCELLED" Whatever was in this order was a gift and some for my self and I really need these products and if I went ahead now to reorder them my code wouldn't work because it was used last night. Also the same day I went online and placed another order for the same items as I said I was and still am in the middle of replacing my entire skincare and beauty collection but there is no words to explain how much I regret starting this process and you will understand once I explain everything. The issue and the thing that I couldn't understand is that I would place an order, the payment would go through and I would receive a confirmation e mail so I could not figure out what was happening for the life of me. I thought for sure there is no way that anything can go wrong this time because I spent three hours on the phone with a representative and she assured me that everything would be ok. Mind you, the worst part and I mean the worst part of Tarte Cosmetics is the customer service side of the company. I have dealt with a lot of companies and worked at a lot to know what a good CSR Rep is and should do when it comes to dealing with customers especially a customer that doesn't care about how much money it takes to purchase all the Tarte items she needs. I was hung up on several times as soon as I would try and explain the circumstances surrounding my situation and I was in shock! I couldn't believe that they didn't care enough about the company itself which needed to make profit off of customers like myself who would be with them for life pretty much. When I selected all the items and tried putting in the 25% off code that I received for my birthday on April 17, 2020 along with the surprise birthday gift, the code didn't work and it stated that it has been used already. I was in shock! So not only was my order cancelled but I lost 25% discount code along with it. Not only that, my birthday gift surprise wasn't available for me anymore. So I was unable to receive the gift that Tarte sent me on my birthday. I tried contacting customer service but no one was available and I wanted to get this done and o we with so I called a friend of mine who buys Tarte products as well and she happened to have a discount code for me to use but asked me that if I receive one from Tarte if I could pass it on to her as she planned to get some products as well and she stated based on what's been happening to me and several times to her that we should switch companies for our cosmetics. I saw I wasn't going to get held on the phone I turned to online chats and attempted to get help there. Same exact thing would happen where they would just plainly leave the chat like I was a nobody and like my business or my money didn't matter to Tarte at all. Thats when I kind of started documenting everything that is happening as I saw that there is no way around me filing a complaint or going to social media or contacting the higher ups within Tarte who definitely should know how their company is represented and how the customers are treated and pretty much how the business is being turned away continuously. From April 24th to April 26th I spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to get in touch with anyone that would listed because all I wanted was to place a simple order, nothing else. After speaking to people that would promise me that a supervisor would call me within five minutes and not being called back made my every single bone in my body tell me Emina just forget it, grab all the item you have received and returned them and fin a company that cares about their customers and the money they spend. But for some reason i just couldn't do that as I wanted all the items I was eyeing so bad and I was willing to do whatever it takes to build my collection. Which means if I have a finishing powder that I've been using then I would need a finishing powder from Tarte, if I have been using three different types of primers then I would need those primers form Tarte, if I've been using 27 eyeshadow palettes then I would need to purchase at least a couple so that I can experiment with different types of looks and I actually have 27 big eyeshadow pallets. I also have maybe 15 different types of foundations/BB cream/CC cream/Tinted moisturizer then I would need to purchase a range it those items from Tarte to use on days that call for them. Finally, on April 27th my order was approved

I received an email Yesterday May 1st that it has been shipped so I will be waiting for it to arrive for the next 3-4 weeks which for a good product during this pandemic I don't mind at all. Now, I was going over the main things I would need and decided today. May I mention that my last conversation with a Tarte employee didn't go well as I never feel understood from any of Tarte's employees but at least she reassured me that the issue regarding the cancellation of my orders has been dealt with and that I shouldn't have any issues at all with any of my future orders. She just told me that in the future, every time I place an order and have a order number confirmation that I need to either go online on Tarte chat or phone Tarte in order to advise the customer service representatives that I did place an order, advise them of the order number and ask them to process it. I thought that was a bit much to go through every time I needed to place an order but it is what it is and I would do it. Here comes today May 02nd at 8am made me go online since I had some free time between my kids and other things I had to do around the house I would spend it choosing the products I need from Tarte. I really needed to be done with this as soon as possible as I wouldn't wish this kind of experience to my worst enemy and to be honest if I didn't have this one last thing that I was going to do which is reach out to anyone that would listen or even turn to social media or contact whoever it is that I had to contact I would. If all else fails I would go to Better Business Bureau as I strongly believe that no one should go though what I went through and I am not even done with trying to explain the worst of it. Honest to God, I spent 4 hours looking at different products, reading about them even watching videos that you have on your site in order for customers to be able to choose a specific product with more ease. Those videos made me want to purchase items that weren't on my radar prior to watching them, which is a good thing and you should definitely keep up with those, i definitely enjoyed them. After about 4.5 hours I was ready to check out and go on with my day. My kids were getting a bit out of line but thats how strongly I believed in Tarte and its products that I would spend that much time shopping and put my kids aside. Then I remember receiving an email this morning from Tarte stating
"Welcome to VARSITY! Your FREE welcome gift is in in the rewards shop". I tried everything possible to retrieve the FREE GIFT but I couldn't find it anywhere so I decided to ask for assistance from online chat support which by this time I dread. I typed my message and of course a minute later it tells me that nobody is available and to provide an email and someone would get back to me. Now, I need to mention this out of maybe 20 times I have done that on online chat support, Never, never, never did anyone get back to me or follow up via email as they claim to do. But I left my email and I jumped on the phone to see if I can reach someone that way. I did, I explained what happened and about the email and how I couldn't find it anywhere so the lady i spoke with God bless her sole, did her best. I appreciate people like her, even-though she didn't know how to help me she consulted with her supervisor and conveyed the message to me. It took a bit more time but at the end of it all she resolved my issue. Now, the mind blowing thing happens, I went to checkout and it wouldn't allow me to do so. I tried on my Mac, no luck, on my iPhone, no luck so i had to call again to see what is going on. Just so I don't forget, while I was trying to checkout all those times, the website would empty my shopping cart. I would go and all over again put the wanted items in the cart and it would happen again. I went through this like 5 times. Whoever picked up the phone this time was the most ignorant, unethical, and had the mind set of "I will tell you what I'm gonna tell you and you have no choice than to take it". I asked her if she could kindly explain to me what was happening as by now I have spent 6 hours dealing with Tarte and if she can't maybe she can contact someone that would be able to help. She went through couple of questions with me which I already did before I called. Then, she advised me that my order was flagged AGAIN! I was just about to drop the phone as I was shaking so much. She said that Tarte is a high security company and you can't just purchase whatever you want. If you ordered eyeshadow one month then you cant place an order for an eyeshadow the next month. Same goes for other things as Tarte would thing that the items are being purchased to be resold. I was in shock. I was trying to explain to her why I was purchasing all these items which made me feel i don't know i was belittled. All that should matter to a company is to assist and provide to a customer what they need but to be grilled like that was not necessary at all. I advised her that I am switching my entire skincare/makeup to Tarte but she didn't care to hear that, she just said that the issue will be escalated and I will hear something within a day or two. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said that she cannot connect me but that the supervisor would call me within 5 minutes. I nicely advised her that the same situation happened last weeks where an agent told me that Jose the supervisor would call me within 5 minutes and never did. It is almost 4pm and I am still dealing with this and typing this message which I hope gets to someone that would care enough about how their customers are being treated. If not I will have to resort to different avenues even-though i feel bad as I absolutely love Tarte but all I am trying to do is place a $500 order for things that anyone would need in their makeup selection. I am not asking for too much just take my money. I can't believe I am saying that. This entire thing is sad but so true and least expected from a company like Tarte. If Tarte has an issue with me personally or something that has to do with me I would appreciate you telling me so I don't look like an idiot trying to defend a company that could care less about its customers.Everyone at Tarte keeps telling me that they would help yet no one is helping me at all. I need this resolved so I can enjoy the weekend with my kids instead of spending it writing message upon message that nobody takes seriously. Here is some timelines and information I do have as I wrote them down
**Saturday April 18th at 8:30am spoke to Tashara online and spent an hour and a half with her and she couldn't help me and she promised to send me an email with an explanation to why these cancellations are happening to me and I never received any emails at all
**Saturday April 18th at 2:30pm I sent two very lengthy and detailed emails to Tarte and received no response to them. At this point I don't know what is happening and why do they promise to get back to you and then don't
*Saturday April 18 at 3:15pm attempted to have a conversation with Elizabeth on Tarte website and I sent her a message of my issue and she just left the chat without even saying a word. I typed everything up and hit send and I guess when she read it she decided that she doesn't want to deal with it.
**Saturday April 18 at 3:30pm spoke to Tashara again and she said she will be escalating the issue and will definitely inform me via email today what os happening. I never heard from her or anyone else
**Monday April 20 at 3pm spoke to Tatyana who promised a supervisor Jose would call me back within two minutes and he never did. I am starting to lose all the trust and credibility in Tarte because at this point employees are doing what they are trained to do and for me this is not acceptable
*Monday April 20 at 4pm spoke to Dixie regarding the circumstances surrounding the issues I have been having and how long I have been trying to deal with all of this but no one seems to truly want to help they just pass me from one person to another or blame one department over another. So at the end of the day I am left here without receiving and assistance. I had to put up with so many customer service representatives who never assisted or helped me but instead promised to follow up with answers, which never came and no one ever followed up I came today with high hopes of a resolution. I was promised things by another agent which should have been noted on the account and I'm not sure if it was but this agent Dixie did not recognize what I was saying and the promises that were made to me by Tarte representatives

I am hoping and praying that someone who truly cares about Tarte reads this and puts some guidelines in place when it comes to Tarte representatives dealing with customers and providing them with correct information. Also, keeping their promises, if they say they will email a customer with an update then please update the customer. If the supervisor says that they will call a customer please call because all we want it to resolve our issue and go on with our day as I am sure Tarte is not paying any of you to just sit around and watch time pass by while you get paid. The least you can do is answer our questions.

Also, I wanted to mention one of the bigger issues I have had and everyone kept on giving me wrong information. On one of my orders I used a 30% discount and there was a birthday gift on my order so once that order got cancelled by TARTE my discount was no longer valid and my birthday gift was no longer there. After speaking with multiple people regarding that I was given a code by one agent and then I went to use it and it would tell me that it was already used. At the same time, once I was speaking to someone and she offered a 30% code because she couldn't help me and I wrote it down so the next time I went to place an order I put that code in and I realized it was the same code that the other agent gave me so it was unusable and just garbage. Towards what I thought was the end of this hell I spoke to Tarte and I said " After spending so much time dealing with an issue that Tarte caused NOT ME and taking time away from my kids and my family not to mention the inconvenience for wanting a product that the company like Tarte just won't allow you to purchase. There might be something that Tarte can to to recognize what I have been through because nobody seems to be offering anything at all other than codes that don't work. I was advised by that particular agent that once the IT department completes what they need to do and they contact you, they will be able to offer you much more than I ever could for any inconvenience all this may have caused. So I thought, I will just wait and see as going through all this hell must be worth something in someones eyes. What ended up happening, I never even heard a zilch from the IT department not to mention receiving something form them or anyone else. Yes I was given codes that don't work but other than that nothing. Please try and understand, I am not here for any freebies but instead I would like someone to understand that what I have been through is not fun and not necessary at all. Tarte is not a small company so that I can justify certain things instead they omg, I can't I just can't give up on Tarte yet nor on the amazing products they have. Some of the resolutions to the issues and inconvenience I have had and been through with Tarte are, to allow me to make purchases for items I need without cancelling my orders without explanation or cancelling them period. I would like to be able to make a purchase without fearing every time that something is going to go wrong and I will have to deal with representatives who don't want to help. It would be nice to receive a code that I originally had on one of my orders for 30% I think it was along with the Welcome to varsity free welcome gift that no one at Tarte can seem to be able to help me redeem, yet I received an email about it but I just don't know how to retrieve it and I've been told neither do they.A recognition of inconvenience and hell that I have been put through just because of something that Tarte did, So I will send this to whomever it is supposed to get to and if that person sees anything that I have been going through and am still going through wrong or unethical or just unacceptable way to treat a customer then all I need is recognition and if my experience hasn't been awful enough for you thats ok too just as long as it doesn't keep on happening to other people then I am ok I have some screen shots of things that I kept just in case and if you need it please let me know. This is just scratching the surface on what I have been through just in the past month but I am hoping it's enough and the last thing that I would want is to turn to BBB or social media as I believe to be punished just because i am purchasing products that are listed to be purchased on your website is not a crime and I shouldn't be treated like a criminal.It would be greatly appreciated if someone could get back to me and let me know wether I should pursue purchasing from Tarte or give up and return all the items I purchased thus far and I will go ahead and pick another skincare/cosmetic company to do business with. Tarte 7 full times for $84 offer

Hi there, I recently purchased the great deal of 7 full sized items for $84. I was looking forward to receiving my parcel as I managed to get in early and pick some great things. Once I recieved my parcel I realised I was missing a product. I got intouch with customer service to ask if they could send the product out to me as soon as possible. In response the lady told me that they had refunded me $12 ($84 ÷ 7) and apologised. I didn't ask for a refund, certainly not $12, I asked for my product. When I reached out again I was informed that they do not send replacement for this deal. I am not asking for a replacement, I am asking for the product that I never recieved! How can I now go and purchase the product, which I would now have to do in order to have it, with a $12 refund! I want my missing product! Absolutly shocked at the service and lack of care by Tarte. After reading the other complaints I doubt I will ever be sent the product I was missing. Awful, and I will not be buying again. Looks like a lot of others feel the same.

Tarte delivery and customer service response is horrible

I placed an order for a special makeup kit that was final sale, once ordered it advised me shipping might be longer than expected. This was fine as it's a xmas gift and it is currently June. After not receiving package after a week I checked the status and the shipping co DHL cited "insufficient address" turns out the zip was off by two numbers and it was currently being shipped back to Tarte (no notification to me). Customer Service along with a manager told me 5 out of 6 of my products were out of stock and they can only give me a full refund and 70% off code. As a previous e-commerce employee, I don't understand why they do not have the ability to notify their warehouse to send my package to the correct address - but, alas, they say they cannot do it. This was my first or second time shopping with Tarte for xmas gifts for my daughter and I will not be giving them my business after this occurrence.

Tarte order never received-no resolution offered. customer service horrible!

I placed an order 12/31/18 and was billed for the order that day. It is now 1/16/19 and I still have not received my order. I have contact customer service 5 times and I just keep getting wait for another week. It does not take 3 weeks to ship something from NJ to OH unless a turtle is carrying it. FedEx tracking shows absolutely no movement. I contacted customer service again today and was told that they could replace my order however some items are now out of stock! No resolution was provided for this other than can refund. I will not order from this company ever again. Ridiculous!

My order also went missing around the same time! I got a refund but very annoying. I've waited 3 months for my concealer. I've ordered from them before and they've been fine but this time...

Tarte worst customer service ever

I am beyond dissapointed with the service received by Tarte.
When I placed my order my phone had autofilled the system and typed in my shipping address as my previous one.
I didn't realise until I'd placed the order, and attempted to start getting in touch with them the day after.

First contact, Live Chat:
I was initially told there was nothing they could do- but to reach out to DHL. DHL told me they hadn't received the order yet and could not help.

Second contact, Live Chat:
Reached back out to Tarte, was told it could be updated and that they had done it. Asked for a confirmation email of the change, they said sure.
Confirmation never arrived.

Third contact, Calling (UK to US phonenumber):
Contacted again to ask for confirmation of change. Turns out it had not been done. Agent made change for me and sent confirmation email.

A week goes by, I'm happy just waiting for my order.
Get a email confirming it's been shipped- check the email, wrong address still listed.

Fourth contact, Calling (still international):
Called in slightly annoyed. They re-assured me it had been changed, but as it's an internal system it just doesn't always update the email. I say ok cool and asked for my shipping info.
Was provided this and felt ok.

TEXT MESSAGE ARRIVES: Your order has been delivered.
No order. Nothing at my house or my neighbour or a note.
Check my tracking info: DELIVERED TO MY OLD ADDRESS.

Fifth contact, Call:
Explain the issue. That I'm annoyed and need to speak to someone who is able to help. Ideally a supervisor of some kind.
Agent did apologise and re-assured me she'd get someone.

Spoke to Supervisor who did not once offer an apology or even any smallest gesture of empathy. Basically told me, it has been updated in their internal system so must have been a mixup in the warehouse.

Explained to me that I really don't need to know what happens internally for them, what I want to know is what happens now. I've spent money and have nothing.

Eventually was offered a refund. Still no apology or ownership of any kind. Had to ask for a confirmation email, which arrivied with one sentance, a gramatical error, and overall no professional look (also of course no apology).

I love Tarte's products and will happily purchase them in store, but will never ever order from them online again and strongly encourage you to stay away from the website.

Tarte company does not care

This company's "kindness" mantra is BS. If you are wondering why their service is so poor, they treat their employees like garbage. Tarte only cares about making money. Most of Customer Service staff at Tarte are temps barely making abusive NY minimum wage. That's right, Tarte doesn't even care enough to pay these hardworking employees decently. Over 25 people have quit in the past 3 months due to working conditions. Also, newsflash. Tarte has since told all of these people that as of the wnd of the month, they will not longer have jobs. The customer service dept is being outsourced so cheap-[censored] Tarte can save a buck. You'll soon be talking to people out of the U.S. who will have no idea what they are talking about. Please stop supporting this horrible company and find a cruelty free company that really does care.

Tarte card charged for not purchasing!

Placed an order on their website $82.45 was detucted from my bank account but not a single confirmation email has been recieved plus their website said that credit card information was wrong after refreshing it they charged my card but I haven't recieved any information regarding my order. And I contacted them through every mean they provided but they are not responding back. What should I do now?

Tarte the website-orders

Todays date: 08/07/2018
I tried to order a palette off of your website today. It told me my card number was wrong. I tried it a few more times and same thing. I then checked my bank account and it said that your website had taken almost $400 out. Absolutely unacceptable! It still says I have no order, so why was an outstanding amount of $400 stolen out of my account? I am furious! I expect that money to be put back in my account immediately. All of it. I do not want that palette. I want all of my money back into my account.

Tarte tarteist lash mascara

I ordered 5 of the mascaras when you had a sale on them. I have used this mascara before. The mascara was so dry, the container seemed to be empty. I opened the rest and they were the same way, I was very disappointed with the mascara. It seemed when I paid full price it was fine the sale ones were so bad. I have been using tarte makeup for years now. I don't know what happened with this order. I need a resolution for this. If not I will be switching over to new line of makeup. The mascara lasted one week at the most. I them out, I was not going to order again from tarte but I was told to write this and see what happens. I am not one to complain but this was 5 mascaras I ordered I still have 2 left which I can send back to you, so that you can see for yourself how dried out they are.

Tarte pro glow color and highlight palette

order #[protected] — 2 of the squares in the palette are cracked and broken(picture attached) in mail today. How can I get a replacement? I bought this specifically for a vacation I am leaving for on Thursday 5/3. I would like to take it even if it is cracked, if I'm not able to get a new replacement before then. Please let me know how to proceed.

Tarte the website

I was so excited to finally order from tarte.com and use my 25% off friends and family discount. I ordered the Swamp Queen pallete and mermaid brushes. Well I wait over a week and finally get on and chat with someone. I asked them why my order hasn't been shipped because it had been about a week. They just told me "oh it can take 5-7 days". No help. So now over a week later still not shipped I get on and try again. This time I was informed that something was back ordered. I said just cancel my order because who knows when it will come back in stock. But as soon as I do that the chat disappears and I can't get t back. I check my order and it says cancelled but I was not able to see when I would get my money back or anything. The website just is not very good. Seems very glitchy. Also I get things get backordered but it would have been nice to know. A little aggravated.

Tarte delivery driver

First off - I am NOT a paying customer.

One of your delivery drivers delivered me a parcel (it has Tarte written all over the box) and drove off before I could say it was the wrong address. (This doesn't really seem a surprise now having read a lot of these complaints)

2 weeks to now: the same delivery driver arrives at my door at 8am screaming and shouting, effing and blinding at me demanding for the package. In this 2 week window I had already taken it to the post office to explain that it was delivered to the wrong address. After explaining this he started calling me a f****** lying b****! With our poor KID neighbours listening in.

So... cheers Tarte for the early morning verbal abuse. Moral of the story is, your delivery drivers are apalling and are ruining your brand reputation.

All this and I didn't even buy anything!

Tarte unauthorised credit card charges

tried to oreder foundation and concealer for $57, but the website was saying that there was something wrong with my transaction, that the card details where wrong. After two atempts i gave up. After doing so i checked my bank transactions and saw that $114 had been taken from my account, due to these purchases, even though i had not bought them. I revieved no email or order confirmation from the website although my apple pay says i have bought products from the website. I've payed double the amount for products i may or may not be recieving. And even more so, I only wanted one of these products. The order cannot be canceled as it isnt showing up in my orders n the website.

This is exactly what is happening to me right now. They have all my orders under an email that I used for paypal. None of my orders show up under my actual TARTE account. And I am receiving and paying for multiple orders and not receiving the rewards or discounts. AND I can't return because the orders do not show up on my account for me to print the return label they keep shoving down my throat. haha Wish I would have read this first.

Tarte limited-edition lip luxuries deluxe lip sculptor set

I ordered this set in December 2017 because I've heard good reviews about your lip shades. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience and I'm not going to order anything from Tarte again. The lipsticks have melted/been crushed despite the fact that they're just lying on my dressing table. I've used them barely 5-6 times and they look like someone ate them! Completely broken and cannot be used at all! I can't believe I spent $37 on such pathetic quality lipsticks! Extremely disappointed with your brand! I will never recommend your brand to anyone. Hopefully you'll make better quality items for other customers.

Tarte have not received my order!

I placed an order online on 12/29/2017 and the tracking# states that it has been shipped on 1/10/2018. I called Tarte customer service and was told to contact my local usps to track my order or file a claim. I called the usps office and according to them it has been shipped and i told them that no i have not received it. They asked me to file a claim online on their usps website. When i tried to file a claim online with the tracking # it says this order is not insured thus not able to proceed!

Seriously?

Tarte is so fast in taking the money out of our pockets and when comes to customer service.. we are tossed around like a ball... Tarte gad the worst customer service!

I have sent Tarte an email about this and yet waiting for a reply!

Just send the replacement for God's sake!
And you guys should be dealing with the postal service ...NOT the customers!

If this doesnt get resolved soon...Im going to FCC!

Tarte tarte customer service

This company is terrible at shipping product, I am missing an item from my order and I've tweeted the company they answer everyone else but ignore mine. I've sent emails, they ignore. They recently changed the website its horrible. If I don't get an answer I'm gonna contact my bank. The worst service of any cosmetics company. It's terrible. I would like whatever help possible.

Tarte missing items from my order/package.

I (first time) ordered makeup from Tarte during the birth sale on 10/18/17 and I received my package on 10/24/17, two times were missing from the box, but the packaged slip says quantity ordered/shipped is 5 (#5 is the free sample). I emailed [protected]@tartecomsmetics.com and I was asked to send a picture of the items I received and the packaged slip. I was like for real, this seems like a fraud, because the packaged slip literally typed 5 items quantity ordered and shipped, but the box only contains 2 items. What's there for me to proof, it seems like a setup? I am thinking that they already knew what is what and try to fake not be able to find what's going on. What the hell! This is very frustrating, I am a nursing student and a mother of two, so I am very busy, I don't have all time to keep emailing/replying them back without helping (such as reimburse me or send the missing items to me. I am hoping that I will get reimburse because I don't want anything from them anymore). Regardless how the result is going to be, this is will be my first and last order from Tarte.

My question is why a well-known cosmetics company like Tarte would do this to "small" person like me and other people. I searched for similar complaints on online, and I found similar encounters like mine, during this "so-call birthday sale." This is not an easy mistake to make, it's more like intentional. They cannot compensate for their mistakes.
