I have filled out all the paper work for my $159.00 refund, due to the fact that I think your site is a scam. I have not heard for you in any form and it has been a month since I requested the refund. My credit card statement has come and I will dispute the charge if I do not hear from you in the next three days.

Browsing net found swipe auctions and filled in the application only to receive an email telling me I was being charge a fee! Immediately tried to discuss on line apparently the charge is obvious everywhere! Filled in a refund form and sent it off. Three weeks later again to the support line only to be told my refund was reject 'no order number' requested order number - number supplied. checked emails the number supplied is NOT the number on the original email. The site may be legitimate but gives all the appearances of being a scam.

Like others I thought that I was just registrating to be able to bid, then the $159.00 charge hit my charge card, I did everythig that I was told to do by the site operator and sure enough I did get my refund. It was credited today, and I am so thankful. From now on I will just stick wth
Ebay.

This is what I want for everyone to do... I want you to get your bank on the phone and have them say that you want the money back into the account, they will then say:
"We apologize for the inconvenience. There was clearly some confusion with this purchase. We do not want to see our customers unhappy. We will issue a refund to the credit card you purchased from. The refund will take 5 -10 Days to show on your credit card statement". Or something to that matter. Because it's all a skit...

If you the customer and the bank do not see the money into the account within those 5-10 days, then your bank will have to dispute the charges and the bank would have to enter the money back to your account on that end.

1.) Don't call there and just say that the money came out of your account. They are not trained to walk you through saying you want your money back. Call and say that you are going to dispute the charge with your BANK. Then you won't have to waist 20 minutes on the phone with them.

2.) It's best to have the BANK dispute the charges, because they more than likely will show it as disappearing and then in a couple of days, it will come back to the account.

3.) There are links that some people may receive in their emails that are different from what you would see on the regular site itself. At times those links don't show that you are making that membership purchase.

4.) Well I hope my free advice was able to help solve most of your issues...

I also have been scammed. I was on my e-mails saw this swipeauction.com. Said free, well free was not before I new it I was filling out information to check out how to get on the site for later use. Still free, put my credit card info hit continue and saw a flash of 159.00. I got off the site, got on my bank website, and they had already taken the 159.00. My bank would not stop this because it was a debit card. I immediately call the company. Have had to jump hoops. Send letter with my signature to get my $ back. Did not need that to take my $. First was told 14 days, then told 28 days. Also was told I was approved to get my refund, now I need to wait and additional 6 - 10 days I am on day 8 and still no refund. I have informed the the BBB and called my local television station. They have 2 more day, I can get evil.

I have been trying since September 30, 2010 to get a refund. I completed the form they required, contacted them two weeks after I mailed the form to them and was told I needed to wait two more weeks as they were backlogged (yeah, I just bet they were). Tried contacting them today and was told they are shutting down their operations and no more refunds would be issued. Tried to complain the the live chat agent pretended ignorance. I'm furious to say the very least!

REFUND.
HI Beth Wilson, swipe auction and Jennifer are bunch of thieves, the auction is fraudulent. I have filled in my application for my $159 refund for the past 2 months when I contact them via chat they told me to give them 3-10 business days that my refund has been processed I will receive it in my account within 3-10 business days. I contacted them again after 14 days, They said they just noticed that my refund has not been process that I check my account back in 3-5 business days, . The agent I chatted told me she will delete my account to enable the final refund process. After 8 business days I contacted them they can traced my account. Now my money is gone...Dont believe whatever the agent said, SWIPEAUCTION should be investigated, they are fraudulent and they have been cheating people. Check review by other people.

I will post my chatting experiences with them online by tomorrow.

You can read from her statement that she doesnt know the length of time started in their form. Bellow is the length of time stated in there refund form1-2 weeks, so if you have being waiting for a month, know they thieves
They have NO telephone no visble address.

exact same thing happned to me! i requested for reund the same day i was charged 159 dollars, they told me to fill up forms and mail it with a copy of my driver's license, and to chat with them after 21 days. i did everything and after 3 weeks they told me thru live chat they cannot help me and that they don't give refunds and that they sincerely apologize since they cannot help me. that's it! but on the form it says refund is guaranteed. there is no way to contact them...no phone no.

I filled out all the REFUND paperwork on 9/28/10 and followed the process outlined to me. The agents ensured me I would be refunded. I never logged into the site once I knew it was misleading. The website does have some small print which is also only a few shades lighter than the blue background on the charge of $159. However, most consumers/bidders are experienced in the "ebay" process. Which as everyone knows records your credit card information and holds it until you make a purchase. Even then it prompts you if you want to use what is on file vs. some other means of payment. I argue that the SwipeAuction knowingly mislead consumers into signing up. Even using marketing schemes saying they were better than ebay. Yet another luring ploy to get consumers to sign up to their website.

11/03/10 FYI - SWIPEAUCTIONS website and business has been shutdown and No One will recieve a REFUND for anything. Call for yourself [protected])

If anyone knows of a class action lawsuit against SWIPEAUCTIONS please post. I will gladly sign up.

Ran into the same situation. Called today and was basically hung up on by two separate customer service people. They would not give me a supervisor's name nor any other information, just that could not process any more claims. Not sure if there's any recourse, but I'm definitely not done.

I think I fell into the same trap. I just saw a charge of $159.00 on my debit card account which I never authorized. I never heard of this company, never bought anything from them and when I googled the name, I found this whole list of fraud alerts. I think I am stopping at my bank today.

I have been trying for over two months to get a refund from Swipe Auctions. I have filled out the paperwork and mailed it back to them just like they told me to do . I have tried calling but all I get is a message. The message says contact them through the website but now it seems to have been shut down. I guess this was an expensive lesson for me to learn. They must need my $160 more than I do. dthjr40@gmail.com

I filed my papers requesting a refund in a timely manner. I called the company within the desired time and have yet to hear from the company. If the company is willing to make a refund, then why have I not received one?
