I bought a ring for my fiancée at the end of July, and almost two months later, the white gold ring cover started peeling. Firstly, I was not informed that the ring is not made of white gold but only has a gold cover.

After speaking with the employees, they advised me that such rings are not meant for daily use, and it's normal for them to start wearing away. This is something I should have been informed about in the store before making the purchase, not afterwards. It is unacceptable for a company as large as Swarovski to offer such a low-quality product and provide such poor customer service.

I can't express how upset my fiancée is feeling right now, especially when the employee forwarded the request to her supervisor. We were supposed to receive a call the next day; however, we received the call three days later, and the supervisor was acting rudely. It is 100% unprofessional to be rude and disrespectful to your clients.

The final resolution should either be a voucher for their inexpensive products, which we do not want, or a replacement for the ring. They also mentioned that within a two-year period, they can replace the ring each month if it starts peeling off again. Our goal for this ring is for it to be worn on a daily basis and not to be replaced monthly until they finally refuse to replace it.

I truly regret the purchase as it has brought us so much negativity and arguments with several employees that could have been avoided if we had gone to any other jewelry store. Since we cannot get our money back and purchase a better ring, I can only advise others not to spend their money on something they won't be able to use for more than a few times. Moreover, given the current state of the world economy, which is affecting everyone, especially those with lower incomes, it's even more important not to waste funds on a temporary ring.

P.S. In the images below, you can see how badly the ring looks, and you can feel it by touching it. It's outrageous...
