I've been working with Supreme Service Today (SST) in Baltimore for the last year. I have an annual service contract with them. I have a geothermal HVAC unit that is 11 years old (perhaps suspiciously – because the previous owner of the house also had a contract with SST– the 1st breakdown happened just 1 month after the 10 year warranty lapsed). There have been a couple incidents with the unit, and in each case SST came out, took it apart, and said, oh you need this-or-that computer board, or you need to upgrade this-or-that component, and each time the parts & repairs were $3,000+. Thereby negating ANY savings from having a geothermal unit, compared with a regular system. I compare this with my dishwasher, which broke about a year ago, and the Samsung repair person only charged $350 to replace a computer board. Maybe apples & oranges comparison, but I'm not so sure. So that's the money story - very, very expensive. In terms of service, for the most recent repair I made an appointment for 10am-2pm window on a Friday and figured it would all be finished by noon. They did not show up. 2pm rolls around and not even a phone call. I call them at 2:30 and they put me on hold for 10 minutes and come back to say the assigned repairer was on "an emergency call" but that I was "still on the list for today" so I should expect them soon. 5:30pm rolls around and not even a phone call. I call them and speak to someone who wasn't one of their usual dispatchers, sounded like a back-up person, and says she'll call me back, and give me $50 credit "for the inconvenience". She _texts_ me an hour later and says a makeup appointment has been scheduled for the following morning. At 8am the next morning I get a phone call from an absurdly chirpy representative asking how the appointment the previous day went, and I told her the story about no one showing up, and no phone call. She (chirpily) apologized and said an owner/manager would "look into the situation". Never heard from a manager or owner. I have a full time, salaried job, and luckily I could work from home on the day they didn't show up, but I'll tell you, if I didn't show up for work one day without calling in and providing a credible explanation, I'd be out of a job the next day. It's amazing that this company thinks $50 covers the "inconvenience" of my waiting the entire day for a repairer not showing up, and not having heat for 3 days. Maybe if they refunded half of the repair costs (which were about $3,000) I'd forgive them for this, but I'm definitely looking for an alternative to this company now.

Very happy with the service call. Paul found a simple solution to a line problem I had. He came on time and fix it real quick. The price was fair and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg. I would definitely recommend Supreme Service Today to my friends and family. They know what they're doing and they do it good.

Absolutely horrible experience. I spent a great deal of money on an annual maintenance contract, but they didn't show up. The office support was very rude. I asked the owner to contact me multiple times, but they never called. I strongly advise staying away from them!

UNPROFESSIONAL CRIME SYNDICATE. They forged my signature on a document and said it was no big deal cuz that was their normal biz practice. They are terrible ppl who really don't care about the customer at all. I contacted the AG's office. They shouldn't be in biz anywhere.

You pay more and risk big damages to your house. Supreme Service Today comes fast, but that's all. They see a replacement job quickly, but miss other parts that a quick look would prevent damage. I paid $1000 for a sump pump replacement and got $3000+ damage because they didn't check the discharge line before turning on the new pump. They gave me a high quote to fix it, no discount! Be careful.

When I called Supreme, they said they knew about my hybrid water heater and could fix it or tell me what was wrong. They also mentioned a $49.00 fee for the visit, which would be deducted from the repair cost. When the technician arrived, he asked, "What's that thing on top?" He had never seen a hybrid water heater before and didn't know what to do. He called his manager, who immediately tried to sell me an expensive replacement. I declined and paid the $49.00 to get rid of him. Supreme is a scam. They take advantage of older folks like me, being 80 years old. They should be reported to the ComplaintsBoard.com for their actions. They are doing a terrible disservice to all plumbers and tarnishing their reputation. They are a useless scam!

Do your homework on Supreme Service. The Technicians and Day Dispatchers are fantastic. If you are looking for a money saver, then this is NOT your product. Some misleading things. The initial warranty we were told was 25 years on the unit and 50 on the ground piping. The 25 years was actually the salesman adding each 5 year and 10 year warranty to make 25 years.
I would say about half of my unit has been replaced. Switches and computer elements, internal piping, heater core, main hard drive and I'm sure i'm forgetting something. Even the tax credits aren't worth it. The amount that you save on your monthly energy bill does not compare to the amount you will be spending in maintenance and repair. There is nothing inexpensive about a *** unit. And best of luck if something does happen that is Supreme's fault. YUP, you are still going to be paying for it because they know that you have too buy the parts to get the system operational and you have no choice, or be cold or be hot. They truly don't care.

This company sent out an AC technician who shorted my AC breaker and possibly disconnected wires to make it look like it was not repairable. He then told me that a new system would cost $10,000 - $12,000 for a 2.5 ton system. The Supreme Tech set me up with a sales person who came out and I told him that the number the tech said was ridiculous and he needed to make sure it was a fair number. He still quoted me thousands of dollars above the next quote for a Goodman system, a brand that carries a shorter warranty. My second quote was given over the phone, sight unseen for the complete replacement and all service included. I told him what I needed and he came in almost $3000 less than Supreme for a better brand. Supreme tried to lower it, but it was still $1000 dollars above the other quote and Supreme was using Goodman while the 2nd was using an Amana system (better brand warranty, same manufacturer!) My 3rd company came in to give me a quote and told me that what Supreme's AC tech told me went bad on the system couldn't happen. He said there were protections in the system to prevent it. He then assessed and repaired the unit, found everything that was disconnected, and figured out that the Supreme tech had shorted the breaker, disconnected some wire that didn't need to be. It ended up being a capacitor, one that the tech from Supreme replaced and showed me that the system "didn't work", because because the Supreme tech tripped the breaker to turn off the power. As soon as it was reset and had that same capacitor, it came right back on. Supreme AC charges $250 to replace the capacitor. The part costs $15 buck at most of the local stores that sell it. ( And yes, it's the same one!) The part is inside of the compartment with 6 screws holding it in. I realized that the last time one of the Supreme Techs came in, he did the same thing with the capacitor inside my furnace. He hooked up an Ohm meter of some kind and told me that it was fluctuating and needed to be replaced. He also wanted $250 to replace it and it sits behind the control board and need a few screws removed to replace it. That capacitor costs $6 online and less than $10 in the store. The one I bought, because I knew it was nothing to install, is still sitting unused a year later. This company seems to run scams. I even have a service agreement with them! I am cancelling that!
