i had a grate time with sherrif goslin roofing. they did a awsome job. i def recommend them.

sherriff-goslin company did my roof and it was a long day for the workers. They worked for 16 hours straight without any breaks and there were no porta-potties for them to use. My gutters were in bad shape and needed to be fixed or replaced. However, the cleanup was not good. There were bottle caps, banana peels, coffee cup lids, and floss pics left behind. It was a huge mess and I had to clean it up myself for weeks after they left.

I call *** cuz I had sum shingles that blew off my roof during high winds. They came out and replaced my shingles right away. The crew was very professional. The work was top notch. They checked my whole roof. They are very good at their job. I was very satisfied with their work. My name is ***.

I had a tree fall on my house. My roof was leakin. They never came to fix it. After 3 weeks they put a few shingles on. They were supposed to do more work, they never came. After 3 years they called and said we still have some work to do. What are they joking, thinking I would wait that long! The worst company ever! !

I went to a few places, but Sherriff-Goslin was the only one who could vent my bathrooms and dryer to the roof. Other companies didn't want to do it. I'm grateful for their help. Before, my back porch always leaked where a few roofs met. I paid two other companies to fix it, but it still leaked. Sherriff-Goslin Dayton finally fixed it for me.

Sherriff Goslin is great! Their guy (can't remember his name) came and looked at my roof leak. He said the problem was probably a leaky boot over a pipe. He went up on the roof and checked it out. He said the roof was good and didn't try to sell me a new one. He even caulked the boot for free! He also told me about other things that could cause the spot on my ceiling. I hope it's fixed now, but he told me what to do if it happens again. I know what to do next time. I got a good roof check and help with my problem. When I need a new roof, I'll call Sherriff Goslin for sure!

This company didn't keep their promise on the warranty. We called them many times to fix our problem, but they keep saying they'll get to it without giving us a date. We have a problem with our shingles, and it's been more than a month since we asked them to review it. They're not following the warranty rules, and the longer they wait, the more chance of a leak. We paid a lot of money, and they're treating us badly. I don't think they deserve any stars, but I have to give them one star.

I had a bad time with Sherriff-Goslin Company. The roofers were not good and messed up my nice gutters. I asked them to fix it many times, but they didn't do anything. They came to check it out and said it was fine, but it was not. The gutters were crooked and water poured down the side of my house when it rained. They didn't do a good job putting them back up.

They did a bad job installing my roof which caused damage to my overhang. Some of it was rotten due to water damage and had to be replaced. The painter I hired to do outside work noticed the damaged overhang at the back of my house. It needed to be fixed right away so the painting could be done. A handyman did the work and saw that the damage was caused because the drip edge was not put over the gutters correctly when the roof was installed. It wasn't nailed to the roof and the water shield seemed to be holding it up. The handyman took pictures which I sent to the Sherriff Goslin office. Their representative came to look at the roof and said nothing was done wrong. But he didn't see the roof before the handyman fixed it. That's why I sent the pictures!

The work Sherriff-Goslin did on my roof was not good. They came on August 13 & 14, 2020 to put new shingles on my house, but they didn't finish the job and the work was not done well. I sent pictures to Mr. Dean R *** like he asked, but he hasn't done anything about it. The people who did the work put shingles on top of wood that was rotten, and they didn't change the flashing on the chimney. The flashing on the dormers is not flat, so when it's windy and raining, water can get under it. The shingles are not flat either, so water can get under them too. The caulking on the dormers looks really bad, like a little kid did it. They didn't change the drip edge on the dormers or the back porch. I just saw that the shingles on the back of the house are not straight. I don't know why Mr. R won't do anything about these problems. I picked Sherriff-Goslin because I thought they were a good company that had been around for a long time, but now I'm not so sure.

Roof put in by Sherriff-Goslin Company leaked and they won't honor the 10 year warranty on all roofing stuff and leaks. Roof put in on October 31 for $10,493. Warranty/guaranteed for 10 years on all labor and materials (Contract attached). Found deterioration of facia board, rafters, and wood undersheeting in August and a leak at the peak was found. Water marks on rafters showed travel to eave where major damages were seen. I called company and they sent someone to evaluate. They agreed to fix the peak leak but wouldn't fix the damages elsewhere. The employee was rude and made some degrading remarks about my house. They sent someone when I wasn't home and said the leak was fixed. I called corporate 5 times before I could talk to the VP (Craig). I was told the situation would be handled. I got no calls or visits from the company or its representatives. I was finally answered in November and the VP asked for pictures (pictures of texts will be attached). After the texts were sent on November 6th it took until November 20th for it to be read. And the message sent on November 20th wasn't read until January 1. No reply was received and the company hasn't answered any calls after.

I had a problem with my roof and contacted Sherrif Goslin Company in January . Craig L, the Quality Assurance Manager, said he would fix it under the warranty I bought in 2016. He promised to supervise the repairs with his crew in ***, just like he did in 2018. I have ten pages of contacts with Craig and Stephen T, the Executive Vice President, but no work has been done. I sent multiple texts and faxes since May, but no one responded. I even sent a fax to Craig and Stephen, but still no response. I paid $3500 for the warranty, but my roof is still leaking and causing interior damage. I haven't heard from anyone at Sherrif Goslin since April .

They came to check the job and Ben W said we owed $800 for sheathing, but I was quoted $300 for 8 sheets. They knew some sheathing needed to be replaced and it was quoted in the original price. Ben W said we needed 8 more sheets for $300. I told him we weren't happy with the bay window roofing and metal nailed to our house. He said they'd fix it, but then tried to charge $800 for sheathing. He said he ordered 23 sheets and would charge for 15. I saw only 8-10 sheets in the driveway and they threw 4 full sheets in the dumpster. He said the contract stated $50 per sheet, but I don't see that. They only replaced bad wood around skylights and a little farther up. It's not that large and wouldn't take 23 sheets. They inspected it 2 weeks later and I have pictures of our complaints. They didn't replace shingles over the bay window originally and I had to contact Ben. They sent Mark to do it. They replaced part of our roof 10 years ago and had their own crew do it. Can't send contract now, but can fax it.

We told Mr. not to touch our roof if they weren't going to do what we wanted. They took our money and we expect them to fix it. I tried to fix it myself but only got a few things done. I need to complain about Sherrif Goslin Roofing. We wanted the old shingles and felt taken off and hauled away, which they did. We also wanted new sheeting on the front porch, but they didn't do it. They took it back. We also wanted new felt covering all of the roof with starter shingles, but they didn't do it. The second story only has two pieces of yellow felt across the roof and I saw them put a shingle on bare wood on the north east edge. They did put a new drip edge on and new vents on the first story. They also put a new ridge vent on the second story after I had to call. I don't know if they put something in the valleys on the upper story to protect them better. We also wanted new 30 year shingles, but when it rains there has been a lot of little rocks come off. The shingles on the south side of the ridge vent look twisted. They tore off a patched area on our house that used to leak really bad and did not put the flashing on under the house siding to keep the water from going under the white flashing if the caulk fails. We also wanted one piece of rubber on the back porch running up the back and attached to the house, but they used two pieces. We made it very clear to Mr. we only wanted one piece of rubber and this has already had to be repaired because there was a cut and exposed wood under it also has three bubbled areas and may have nail holes on top where they had to pull the nails and move it up to attach it to the house. Mr. also said they would put ice and water shield on, but the ice and water shield isn't put on right on the second story. We don't know about the front porch and the first story was completely covered with felt as it should be so we don't know how it was put on there. Mr. said there is a 10 year guarantee. And a 30 year Warranty on the shingles but online it says Pinnacle shingles only have 5 years so we are confused. We also wanted new gutters, but some of them were holding water look higher than the roof. Our insurance said they aren't paying for any water damage. They also knocked some corner pieces off the house, ripped one of the screens on one of the upper window and the screen can't be removed so it can be fixed. A piece of the house siding is missing, Mr. said it was already like that but the maintenance man at the apartments next door said it was on there the day before and another person said the same thing. They broke my Good Fortune ceramic blue Elephant. Pulled out the down spout that had the sump pump drain running into it and left the pipe hanging and the drain pipe exposed to debris. We received a receipt showing it paid in full. $13,500,00. *** came out August 17th. He couldn't find the bare area even though I told him right where it was. He came down and said the gutters were holding water and would put drain pipes on and they would fix the corner pieces and put flashing on the back of the house. Nothing about fixing anything else. On Sept 1st Sherrif Goslin had sent *** back out. He put the down spouts on, fixed the corner pieces, put the flashing on the back of the house, patched the rubber, put ice and water shield on the bare area under the shingle that Mr. couldn't find. I told him how the roofing crew did the second story and he told me that isn't the way it should have been done and there wasn't anything he could do to fix that. I forgot to have him check for the nail holes on top of the rubber roof. We need our roof done right. Please help us. Thank you.
