Transaction was on 8/12. This company took full advantage of my father, who has severe psychiatric diagnosis and is permanently disabled. Sunrise Heat & Air in Palm Harbor, FL convinced my father that his brand new, 2-year-old, 3-ton, 16 SEER Trane AC System with a 10-year parts warranty was bad. They replaced it with the exact same unit, charging him $13,600 for their services. My father had maintenance on his AC 3 months prior to this incident, and the system was running perfectly. When we, the family, found out about this absurd transaction, we called and emailed the company, asking them to give us back the original working AC system, but they refused. I am my father's POA and look after him, and this company preyed on his weaknesses and disabilities. They must be reported.

I got a new AC and heating system from Sunrise Heat & Air on July 26. They finished the job on July 29. I paid half when I signed the contract and the rest when they were done on July 29. I had some complaints later on. Most of them got fixed, like when they repaired the damage to the existing supply duct while installing the new return duct. Here are my complaints: 1. The installation of the return duct was messy, and it made our almost new carpet all dirty with attic insulation stuck in it. The whole house was also covered in attic insulation and fiberglass duct board debris. Even though I asked them to be careful and protect our stuff, they didn't do it. We had to spend the next three days cleaning the house. 2. In our contract, we paid Sunrise Heat & Air for a full 10-year Goodman labor warranty. But when I tried to get the warranty, they only gave me a parts warranty. I've tried three times to fix this problem, but it didn't work out.
