Subject: Request for Compensation for Damaged Water Pipeline and Driveway

Dear SNGPL,

I would like to raise a complaint regarding an issue that occurred at my house.

Address: Street 41, House 608-C, PWD, Islamabad.

Recently, gas pipeline work was carried out in our street. During the excavation, your workers accidentally damaged our water pipeline. As a result, we had no water supply for several weeks.

During this time, we had to arrange 9 water tankers, which cost us approximately PKR 18,000. After the problem was identified, we also had to change the water pipeline at a cost of PKR 25,000

Moreover, the workers also broke the driveways of many houses, including mine, to install the gas pipeline. However, we witnessed that for some houses, the pipeline was installed underground without damaging their driveways. This is highly unfair, as all homeowners in the society should be treated equally. There should not be different methods used for different houses without a valid reason.

Since the damage was caused during the gas pipeline work, I kindly request SNGPL to compensate us for the expenses we had to bear due to this incident.

I look forward to your response and hope this matter will be resolved as soon as possible.
