I already paid this debt (somewhere else, a while back). They never showed me any proof of the debt, but they went ahead and gave me a bad credit score.

The accounts were opened without me knowing, consenting, or giving permission. I don't know how the stealing happened, and I don't know who did it.

I ain't responsible for this debt with NATIONAL GRID FKA LONG ISLAND and ain't got no contract with Stevens Business Service account # ***. They didn't give me the original application like I asked.

I paid off a $53.38 debt with this company after getting an *** credit report alert, havin not gotten the original bill. Then, after submitting payment, I got a second alert from *** that it was reported, after paying it in full. This is not right. Please remove the *** report on my credit. It appears as if the *** report was already deleted. thank you.

This company, Stevens Business Service, Inc., messed up my credit report on three credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, and Transunion. They opened an account on 06/01, but the information they posted was wrong and confusing. They even got the balances wrong ($237.00). I tried contacting them, but they haven't responded yet. I also sent disputes to the Credit Bureaus.

On July 21, I had a collection account pop up on my account for the *** Experian for $136. I ain't got no records of nobody contacting me 'bout this collection. I don't even know who this company is. I reckon this here's a fake claim. If they really got a legit collection, they shoulda reached out to me. I'm askin' 'em to take this account off collection right away and say sorry.

So, like, I called up Stevens Business Service, Inc. on 2/23/2022 at like 2:30pm est. I was all like, "Hey, I got this debt in collection you guys are handling, what's the deal?" They were all like, "We can settle it for 60% over the phone and make it disappear from your credit report." I was like, "Cool, but can I get that in writing?" And they were all like, "Nah, you gotta pay us first, then we'll give you the deets in writing." I was like, "Hold up, that's shady. I wanna see the terms before I fork over any cash." But they were all like, "Nope, pay up first, then we'll talk." It's like they don't wanna put anything in writing until they get paid. I just want them to put it in writing, man. Then I'll pay up, no problemo.

I just found out from my Experian credit report (I had a 750+ score) that Stevens Business Service reported me to the credit reporting agencies for National Grid. I haven't had a National Grid account in over 5 years, and I no longer own the house where I had the account. I don't even live in *** anymore. I haven't received any communication from National Grid or Stevens Business Service, and I had no idea about this until I got a notice that my fico score dropped into the 600s. I did some digging and found out that Stevens Business Service is the one who reported this wrong information. This is really bad business practice and it should be illegal and punished. If this isn't fixed right away, I'm going to contact a lawyer!

Stevens Business Service, a collections agency, got this bogus account and is telling the credit reporting agencies that it's an unpaid account under my name. I asked them to prove this account is legit, but they can't do it. Still, they keep messing up my credit even though they can't confirm the debt, which is totally fake. It seems like this company might have sneakily gotten hold of my personal info and reported it to the credit agencies just to force me into paying a debt that ain't even mine. They're acting all shady, and this is my last shot at giving them a chance to fix their records before I take 'em to court and make 'em pay for all the legal fees and damages.

So, I got this bill from Stevens Business Service, right? I called them up to talk about it. But man, they put me on hold for like 20 whole minutes! Then I called back and they tried to put me on hold again. I was like, "I'm calling about this bill you sent me saying I owe $476.48." But they didn't wanna listen. They asked for my social security number, but I was like, "Nah, I ain't giving you that." I only gave 'em my date of birth. Then this lady tells me that's what I owe, but I know for a fact that back in June, my account with Allied was only $212.35. She just wouldn't listen, man. She put me on hold again and kept me there for a freakin' long time. I got fed up and hung up on 'em. And guess what? They even reported this wrong amount to the credit bureau. Like, seriously? I was tryna pay off the balance, but I ain't payin' no business that can't even get their info straight. How the heck do I fix my credit report now?

I got this letter from Stevens Business Service, Inc. saying I owe $182.07 to ***. But I don't even have an account with them. So, I called them up and they asked for the last 4 digits of my Social Security number. I mean, come on! I don't even know these guys and they want my personal info? No way! I told them I'm not giving out my personal stuff and they just hung up on me. Can you believe it?

Anyway, here's the thing. My mom passed away and her house got sold earlier this year. Before that, all the bills for the house were sent to my address, but in my mom's name. I've paid all those bills and haven't received any new ones for like 6 months now. So, why am I suddenly getting this debt notice? It doesn't make any sense to me.

Honestly, I'm just frustrated with this whole situation. I don't owe any money to *** and I don't appreciate them trying to get my personal info like that. It's just not right.

In August 2022, I was checkin' out my credit file and I saw a bunch of collections that I didn't even know about or give permission for. So, I reached out to the companies to let 'em know what was goin' on. They told me to make a complaint on ComplaintsBoard.com and file a complaint report with ComplaintsBoard.com. The info they got listed is all wrong and it's there 'cause someone stole my identity. I didn't get any benefit or stuff from these accounts, so they gotta take 'em off my credit report. Here's the list of stuff that needs to be removed: Fake collection: STEVENS BUSINESS SERVI (Original Creditor: NATIONAL GRID FKA KEYSPAN NY) *** Date Opened: 04/01/2022 Balance: $534.00. Please get rid of this info from my file.

This account don’t belong to me, it’s fraudulent. I am a victim of identity theft. I have never opened an account with *** and I had no knowledge of an account in my name until it appeared on my credit report. there was no inquiry from *** / Stevens business inc. until recently as of March , before then I had absolutely no knowledge of a account because I *** have never opened an account with national grind and I have never missed a single payment for any of the accounts I actually own, my credit report can confirm that I have excellent payment history with every account that actually belongs to me, In addition to that I’ve had a security freeze on my credit report since 2007 so to grant credit or provide service in my name without identification and other identity verifying documents shouldn’t have been allowed and if my credit was checked *** should’ve noticed a security freeze and fraud alert and not have allowed service in my name at a address I do not reside and never lived at without first confirming the identity of the applicant. Sevens business inc. claimed to have mailed me a dispute packet I have yet to receive, they also agreed to close the account which is still open and doing more damage to my credit reports, the account amount went from zero dollars due to an amount over two thousand dollars and the account is now noted as open as of April 16th which means the company did the opposite of what they agreed on.
