Disappointing Experience with GoodAccountants: $15k Referral Was a Total Dud
I ain't gonna lie, I was pretty disappointed with GoodAccountants. I shelled out a whopping $15k for a referral and it turned out to be a total dud. I mean, come on now, that's a lot of dough for a referral that didn't even pan out. And to make matters worse, they ain't even willing to give me a refund. My poor kids are now starving because of this mess. I wouldn't recommend using their services unless you're willing to take a big risk with your hard-earned cash.
Disappointing Experience with GoodAccountants: Unreliable and Unprofessional
I recently gave GoodAccountants a try to find a bookkeeper and an accountant for my business. I was excited to see what they could offer me, so I set up two appointments for two separate days. Unfortunately, both appointments ended up being a complete waste of my time. Neither of the accountants showed up or even bothered to call me to let me know they couldn't make it. I waited for 30 minutes for each appointment, but no one showed up. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service.
Overall, I would not recommend GoodAccountants to anyone looking for reliable and professional accounting services. The lack of communication and punctuality was unacceptable and left me feeling like I wasted my time. It's important to have a trustworthy and dependable accountant for your business, and unfortunately, GoodAccountants did not deliver on that promise.
Goodaccountants Review: Connecting Businesses with Accountants - Is it Worth the Risk?
So, I got a call from "goodaccountants" the other day. The guy on the other end said he had a local organization that needed an audit and asked if I was interested. I was intrigued, so I listened to what he had to say. But then he dropped the bombshell - we had to become members of their service to get the audit. I mean, come on! Why didn't he just tell me that from the start? It's just typical telemarketing garbage, if you ask me.
But I have to admit, I was curious about this "goodaccountants" service. So I did a little research and found out that they're a company that connects businesses with accountants. They claim to have a network of over 1,000 accountants across the country, and they offer a range of services, from bookkeeping to tax preparation to audits.
Now, I'm no expert when it comes to accounting, but I do know that it's important to have a good accountant on your side. They can help you save money on taxes, keep your books in order, and make sure you're complying with all the regulations. And if "goodaccountants" really does have a network of qualified professionals, then that could be a real benefit to businesses.
Of course, there are always risks when it comes to working with a new company. You never know if they're going to deliver on their promises or if they're just out to make a quick buck. And the fact that they use telemarketing to drum up business doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
But at the end of the day, it's up to each individual business to decide if "goodaccountants" is right for them. If you're in need of accounting services and you're willing to take a chance, then it might be worth giving them a try. Just be sure to do your research and read the fine print before signing up.

GoodAccountants Review: Frustrating Sales Tactics Need Improvement
I recently had an experience with GoodAccountants (goodaccountants.com) that left me feeling a bit frustrated. While I do believe that they may be good at what they do, their tactics could use some improvement in my opinion.
During the middle of tax season, I received a call from a woman named Melissa Fernandez who claimed to be a business consultant. At first, I was intrigued and thought that perhaps she had some valuable information to share with me. However, after wasting my time for about 10 minutes, I realized that her true intention was to pitch me on their services.
Now, don't get me wrong - I understand that businesses need to make sales in order to survive. However, I felt that the way in which GoodAccountants went about it was less than professional. If they had been upfront with me from the beginning and explained that they were a membership organization with a potential client in need of an accountant, I would have been more interested.
Overall, I think that GoodAccountants has the potential to be a valuable resource for businesses in need of accounting services. However, I would caution them to be more transparent in their approach and to avoid wasting people's time with unnecessary small talk.
Unreliable and Unprofessional: My Experience with GoodAccountants
I recently had an experience with GoodAccountants and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I was hoping to find a reliable and trustworthy accountant in the Las Vegas area, so I decided to give their referral service a try. However, I was disappointed with the results.
After submitting my information, I received only one referral from GoodAccountants. Now, I know that in Las Vegas, there are plenty of CPAs to choose from, so I was surprised that they only sent me one. I decided to give the accountant a call and ask him a few questions to see if he was a good fit for my needs.
Unfortunately, I found out that he wasn't fully screened by GoodAccountants. He didn't have a place of business, references, or even a business website. As someone who takes their finances seriously, I knew that I couldn't trust someone who didn't have these basic requirements. So, I politely thanked him for his time and hung up.
I decided to call GoodAccountants and ask them about their screening process. To my surprise, they didn't tell me how or even if they screen their accountants. This was a huge red flag for me. As someone who wants to work with a professional and reliable accountant, I need to know that they have been properly vetted.
To make matters worse, their customer service department was very unprofessional. I was disappointed with the lack of care and attention they gave me as a potential customer. Overall, I would not recommend GoodAccountants as a professional CPA/Accountant referral service.
Lead Generation
I am an accounting service provider. Almost 3 years ago I signed up with GoodAccountants.com to access customers that needed accounting services. The sales pitch was thick with assurances that I would recoup my investment within a short amount of time. To date, I still have not reached breakeven.
Here we are now 3 years later and I have obtained 1 real client from the service. In total, I have received 14 "leads" on potential customers. Out of that 11 were junk, meaning missing contact information and/or no response. Or even better, I did not provide the service they were looking for, as stated in my profile. The other two clients were good potential but chose to go another direction. So 1 out of 3 I can understand.
In the first 12 months I received 12 leads. Since Dec 2020 I have received 2. The last one has been almost a year.
The agreement was to provide $20,000 in annual billings for $5,000 of investment. However, GA does not have a timeline in which to provide the leads in the agreement. So all risk is held by the service provider. Be Aware!
Desired outcome: Reasonable timeframe of fulfillment. Getting actual leads. Or a prorated refund based on receipts thus far.
I was supposed to get qualified leads...
Of the 3 leads I got in the last 9 months, 2 were small sole proprietors with no employees who cancelled their appointments without bothering to notify me, and the third was a priest who was upset with his Treasurer, but was not an officer, who I was very nice to, and I spent hours with explaining I couldn't help him, something goodaccountants.com should have done on the front end. So I have a guarantee of $17, 000 of new business from this company that can't get me one single legitimate interview, when everyone and there cousin needed help getting payroll protection loans. If this isn't a scam it's the next closest thing, save your money...
Accountant didn't work as I wanted and I lost money
I searched for the accountant for my company and for the help. I found it on the website www.goodaccountants.com. I was so excited, but the accountant wasn’t attentive and she missed some numbers, papers etc. I was so shocked, because the company told me that she was perfect and hard-working. I fired her, because I started to lose money and decided that the company wouldn’t provide good and honest accountant for me.
They did nothing, but I wasted large sum.
Don’t trust the guys from the company www.goodaccountants.com. I paid them around $5, 000 for the services, but they haven’t sent any referrals at all. The whole deal was big waste of money. I was so angry and contacted them several times, when I argued with the rep and threatened him. But he has listed to me and did nothing. It was the worst services and work, which I have ever seen before.
4 months and still no report
I subscribed for the website www.goodaccountants.com and paid about $3, 000 for the services. The rep promised to provide the annual report, but all their promises were big scam and blah-blah. I waited 4 months already, but each time these jerks found different mistakes and other scam; therefore they refused to provide the report. I really lost my temper, but I have no idea how to solve this stupid situation. Please, post comments.
They took money for the search
I searched for good accountant through the company www.goodaccountants.com. I was really disappointed, ‘coz I submitted my request, but I waited couple of weeks and got nothing. After that I checked my account and it turned out that they charged me for nothing, but it was mentioned that they offered to find the accountant completely for free. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Let’s share views about this website.
I have never signed their paperwork
Goodaccountants.com called my cell phone numerous times with a promise to lower the interest rates on all my credit cards to an average of 3%-6%. I spoke with them about their program and they faxed me over the paperwork to review and discuss with my spouse. Even though I have never signed their paperwork, they went ahead and charged my VISA $1499.00 while we were on the phone.
