I think StarOfService is not very good. We tried it, but it wasn't great. On their website, they have a lot of people looking for services, but when you try to contact them, a lot of them don't reply. We only got one person who replied and said they weren't interested. The rest didn't reply at all. We thought it was strange. It seems like they're trying to scam people out of their money. They took our money and then changed their platform, so we couldn't use it anymore. When we asked for our money back, they said no. We're really unhappy about it. We might even report them to the authorities. It seems like all of these project websites are scams. We've tried a few of them and none of them had real clients that wanted our services. We don't recommend using StarOfService or any of these other websites.

I'm a boudoir photograpaher and I use starofservice.com to get leads. It can be a hit or miss sometimes. Sometimes people accept my quote and then back out saying they found someone else or they were a photographer too. It can be frustrating because I end up losing money. When I contacted the platform, they only gave me credit for a month instead of reimbursing me. The problem with that is that in my niche, boudoir photography, I need more than a month to use up those credits. So basically, I end up losing money. This happened to me at least 12 times already and I'm not sure if this platform is worth it for me anymore.

The worst part? StarOfService will charge your credit card without a second thought. They have no qualms about taking your hard-earned money for "contacts" that are completely useless. They'll even claim you owe them money for a phone number or email address that turns out to be false - it's outrageous.

All in all, I would definitely stay far, far away from StarOfService. Don't get sucked in to their never-ending scams - it's just not worth the time, effort, or money. Save yourself the headache and focus on more reliable ways to grow your business.

I had the opportunity to try out StarOfService as a professional, not as a client, and unfortunately the experience was not a pleasant one. Within a week of signing up, I was unexpectedly charged $150 for clients who supposedly had clicked on my phone number.

I reached out to the customer service team to inquire about this practice, and was met with a response that left me feeling frustrated and confused. The representative stated that if a message was received from the customer, or if the customer used my phone number to contact me, or even if I simply consulted the customer's phone number, I would be charged for the contact information. And to make matters worse, I was informed that StarOfService would send the customer's information to the first professional who sent in a quote, regardless of whether or not the customer had reached out to them directly.

As a professional, I understand the importance of paying for leads and the importance of networking to grow one's business. However, the arbitrary and confusing practices of StarOfService left me feeling taken advantage of. It seems as though they are charging professionals at their own discretion, without any clear guidelines or explanation.

I urge other professionals to beware of this potential scam and to do their research before signing up for the service. While the website may seem promising, the hidden fees and unexplained charges are simply not worth it.

SAS will charge you for almost any customer request, without your approval, and even if you deactivate your services - they will automatically reactivate your services and charge you for the next customer to force money out of you at any price.

During COVID-19, SAS automatically reactivated my services when they were deactivated, switched on StarofService Live features, and charged my credit card while I was away without my approval.

I've deleted my account since it is the only way out of their endless automated abuse to my wallet.

Make sure you either don't join SAS in the first place, or delete your account before they suck your wallet dry.

Somehow in my account was automatically activated a button -"turbo" -which automatically replayed to messages received on the platform and lead to charges for every message that was sent, eventhough they were not related to subject. The message was generated automatically, saying " Dear customer(name), I am very interested in your project and want to discuss more about it. Can you tell me more about it here on the platform or directly over the phone?". Very nasty message, it's not ok to assume that in my name. When I created the account this button didn't create any problems, but at some point it got activated and they got away with some cash. However this is not well intended, they just do this things to get some money from users. From me they got away with 60$ for 2 messages.

This StarOfService website is not worth it at all! I've been using this service for over a year and haven't had a good client yet. I paid 40 EUR for each "opportunity" and got nothing but disappointment in return. So, I decided to forget about them and move on. But then, they sent me an offer to try their Premium service for free for a week. It sounded too good to be true, and as it turns out, it was!
I tried it out and forgot to unsubscribe before it expired. Then, on the morning of December 28th, they charged me a whopping 285 EURO for three months of Premium service! I was stunned. I tried to reach out to them several times, but to no avail. They ignore all my messages and calls.
This company is a total scam, and I don't recommend anyone to use their services. They don't care about their clients and only care about making money. They never mentioned the price of the Premium service, but somehow charged me such a large amount without my consent. It's the biggest rip-off I've ever encountered in my life!

Let me tell ya about StarOfService.com. First of all, they charge a pretty penny, and for what? You don't get any leads but they still take your money without even batting an eye. And when you try to complain? They act all generous and pretend they're doing you a favor by giving you some virtual credit that only lasts for 30 days.

First, they offered me the service of being able to connect with potential clients that were located in my local area. The idea was to subscribe, pay a fee and receive potential clients that were interested in the services I offered. I was interested, and I did register, so I put all my information, including my address, city and country. Next thing you know, they started charging me weekly for each of the "referrals" they sent me. The trouble was that the rate they charged was way too high, especially here in my hometown, in Colombia, the cost was approximately $34,000 (USD $9) for each "referral."

The thing that made me even angrier is that they would charge me for supposed referrals that were not even located in my area of influence. As a real estate agent, it is important to me that the property is located in the area that I service. Unfortunately, they kept sending me leads from other towns that were located more than 500 kilometers away from my location. It was very disappointing, especially when I disabled the Turbo option, hoping to avoid paying for non-viable referrals.

What surprised me the most is that they continued to charge my registered payment even when I hadn't accepted any of the referrals. The worst part is that they never gave me an answer when I asked for an explanation. I put the rest of my money into a prepaid card, and I noticed that they kept trying to charge my card, even though they had not received my approval. Thank goodness my bank sent me a message of declined charges for amounts close to $50.

I felt like there waz no support offered to me at all. Not only that, they dont have a vetting proces for their contractors. This was a really bad and costly mistake. However, to my dismay, I found that the PayPal payment mode simply did not work - the only viable payment method was by card.

In the past, I was already paying for an automatic subscription that I couldn't cancel when I discovered that most of the clients who contacted me were not genuine, but rather fake profiles. That experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and I am determined not to fall for their scam again.
