Starbucks - the iced cocoa cloud macchiato

I recently discovered this wonderful drink, the iced cocoa cloud macchiato. But first let me say this- I have been a Starbucks customer for many years. I frequent the flagship stores as well as the ones in service areas, Target stores and supermarkets. I spend ridiculous amount of money on your coffee. I actually ARGUE with people who think I shouldn't . I am a loyal customer because I appreciate consistency and continuity.
In the past, I have run into the occasional " Wait, this didn't taste like this in the last Starbucks ..?" But have overlooked it. Kids being trained to make coffee- they screw it up sometimes, whatever.
But now this: That cocoa cloud macchiato. I had one. WOW! I loved it. Refreshing sweet, creamy...lovely. Once only.
I have ordered this drink in every location listed above and some for which I have no address. Some of them I gave a second chance. The one on Lafayette Ave actually got it right twice. I have ordered this drink no fewer than 10 times, and I would venture to say it was more.
Three times, it was made properly. Once it was made with cinnamon..wtf? Once there was no cocoa to be found. In one place it looks one way- creamy white on top, in another it looks like a chocolate milkshake. In yet another it looks like a caramel drink.
I spend far too much money on these drinks to have to be consistently disappointed. At 5 bucks or more a pop, why? This is a CHAIN. Isn't the whole idea to be consistent? Aren't these baristas given formulas? Why is this consistently such a disappointment? I'm not wealthy, in fact, I am on a fixed income and this is the one treat I afford myself . To the tune of $140 dollars a month.
(Wow, seeing that in writing is shocking, Thats more than my phone bill.)
I want to be satisfied when I am paying that kind of money for my coffee. I am not satisfied. I am spending my time, my gas and my money and still coming away with nothing.
Additionally, the whole cold brew sweet cream was a disaster- once it tasted like it was made with salt water! ( Boston Post Road location by Iona college, New Rochelle NY) Really? I had one of those that was so amazing and then experienced the same exact issue as with the macchiato. No one made it the same way ever again. Thats how I eded up trying the macchiato, being disappointed 4 times with the cold brew.
Is it fair that I have had to pay for these drinks that are presumably made the same way in each spot only to be disappointed again and again? I wish I could have that money back but I imagine that is not your policy.
Can you do anything to compensate me for the very disappointing experience of incompetent baristas and disappointing coffee and the total letdown of driving all the way out of my way to a Starbucks, looking for the satisfying "ahhhh" of my favorite drink, only to be presented with a sub par beverage? Perhaps a Starbucks card so I can continue my search for a consistent coffee drink while giving my already exhausted finances a break ? I hope so. I want to remain a Starbucks customer, maybe you can help me out here?
