Stanley Steemer International review: stained carpey

Yesterday (11/24/09) we had our carpets cleaned by Stanley Steemer 13225 FM 529 Houston Texas [protected].

My daughter and I removed the furniture from many of the rooms. I told to cleaner that two carpet cleaning times ago, stains were made from the furniture when not removed. So we moved the furniture out so that would not happen again and we would move it back. Unfortunately, he did moved the living room furniture back! They put thin plastic squares under the furniture to protect the carpet. We guess what...the stain bleed through. When I went to move the furniture back there was drag marks and leg stain marks.

So we called the above company and they sent a technician over. He gave me their card, but did not write his name on it. He said it is my fault the stains are on the floor. I should have waited a full 24 hours before moving it. Here's my point...I never asked them to move the living room furniture back. They didn't move furniture back in the other rooms. In fact, they put the 1 inch risers under my other chairs in the family room. I didn't notice the marks until I began to move the furniture and they guy today said, you should have waited to move it! His futile attempts to remove the marks did not work and my living room carpet it ruined. He said, my boss will come out on Monday to take a look at the stains. Let me tell you friends, I am not happy!

I used to tell friends how good they were, but no more.
Do not use Stanley Steemer, take your chances with a different company!
