I left my vehicle at St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Inc. on March 1st for some service. Unfortunately, they ended up damaging the frame of my vehicle. When I brought this issue to their attention and asked them to fix it or compensate me for the damage, they flat out refused to pay for anything. My truck ended up staying at the dealership for a whopping 4 months for repairs.

When I initially dropped off my truck, I was there with the advisor and everything seemed fine. However, a couple of weeks later, when we went back to retrieve some items from the truck, we noticed the damage. We took pictures of the damage and sent them to the dealership, clearly showing that they were responsible for it. Their response was that they don't have any cameras in their lot, so they couldn't take responsibility or pay for the damage.

I took my vehicle in for repair on September 3rd to St. Charles Chrysler Dodge and Jeep. I had several issues going on with my vehicle, which should have been covered under my extended warranty. My vehicle sat there for a month before I was contacted by the service department, stating that they were still waiting on parts for my vehicle, which were on back order. My vehicle sat for another month and I still didn't hear anything, so I contacted the service director and asked him what the problem was with my vehicle being worked on. It had been there long enough. He told me that my service advisor had contracted COVID-19. I told him that had nothing to do with me and that there were other service advisors who could help me. He said he would get back in contact with me, but I didn't hear back from him. Eventually, 4 months later, I heard back, stating that my vehicle was ready for pick up. I picked up my vehicle on December 22nd. Before I could make it home with my vehicle, it broke down on the expressway, almost causing me to have a bad accident. I had the vehicle towed back to the shop and advised them of what happened. They told me they would have to diagnose the vehicle. My vehicle sat there for two weeks without being worked on. I spoke to the service manager, who stated that they had not been paid by the extended warranty company. I told him that had nothing to do with me. These are all pre-existing conditions that should have been fixed while the vehicle was there for 4 months. He said he would get back to me, but he didn't. I tried reaching out to the advisor and the manager, but I couldn't get in contact with either one of them. They were suddenly not available and said they would get back in contact with me. I got really frustrated with this and picked up my vehicle. I had it towed to another service repair facility. Once it was there, they contacted me and informed me that they couldn't work on the vehicle due to the pre-existing conditions.
