I purchased a Honda CRV from Serra Honda on October 1. During the finance process, the individual handling my transaction (***) engaged in deceptive practices when selling me an extended warranty. One of the concerning aspects was that he failed to clearly disclose the price of the warranty, instead attempting to hide it within my overall payment amount. Upon realizing this after returning home, I immediately tried to reach out to him to express my desire to cancel the extended warranty. Unfortunately, he ignored my calls and neglected to respond to my voice mails. After multiple attempts, I reached out to my salesperson directly and asked them to intervene and request a call back from ***. Finally, on October 11, I received a call from him. During this conversation, I explicitly requested the cancellation of the warranty, and he assured me that he would take care of it. To provide evidence of the cancellation, he emailed me a copy of the cancellation form. However, when I reviewed my statement from American Honda Finance, I noticed that the credit for the cancelled warranty had not been applied. This prompted me to contact the warranty company on January 27, 2022, only to discover that they had never received the cancellation form. It became evident that *** had failed to send it as promised. This entire experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated, as it reflects a clear lack of honesty and integrity on his part.

I had some issues with my car recently - it would stop running after driving for a while, but then it would start up again after a bit. I decided to take it to this particular dealership to get it checked out. They charged me $136, including tax, just to diagnose the problem. According to them, the radiator was leaking and needed to be replaced, which would cost over $680. However, I decided not to have the repairs done there.

Upon further investigation, I discovered that the coolant was actually leaking from the coolant reservoir, not the radiator. This was happening because the engine was overheating, causing the coolant to boil and leak from the gap between the cap and the reservoir. The overheating issue was due to a faulty thermostat, as evidenced by the top hose of the radiator being hot while the bottom hose remained cold. Once I replaced the thermostat, the problem was resolved. I reached out to the dealership to inform them of the true cause of the issue. In response, they emailed me back with pictures showing what they claimed was a radiator leak. I replied, explaining that the leak was actually from the coolant reservoir due to boiling caused by the faulty thermostat. I even offered to bring the car back so they could see for themselves, but they never responded again. This has happened twice now.

The first time was about a year ago when my AC wasn't working. They told me the AC control module was faulty and would cost over $700 to fix. However, I discovered that the wire on the compressor was simply disconnected, so I reconnected it myself and the problem was solved. At least that time, they refunded me the diagnostic fee. It makes me wonder if they are intentionally trying to take advantage of customers. This kind of behavior is really unfair to customers and reflects poorly on their business.
