Ss396 Disappointed with Ss396: Incorrect Item Sent and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase from Ss396 (ss396.com) for item # DPC858, a pump to carb fuel line for my new style Holley carb with 3/8 inlets and 8 5/8 spread between inlets. I found this item advertised on page 117 of their latest catalog. However, when I received my order, I was disappointed to find that they had sent me item # FPC69ZZ instead. This item is meant for 5/16 lines with a 9 3/8 spread, which is not what I needed.

When I called to inquire about the mix-up, I was told that I had received the correct item. This was frustrating, as I had specifically ordered the correct item and had even double-checked the catalog to ensure that I was getting the right one. Despite this, I was given a RMA number to return the item at my own expense.

This experience left me feeling disappointed and frustrated with Ss396. It's frustrating to see companies selling parts that they clearly know nothing about. As a customer, I expect to receive the correct item that I ordered, and I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake.

Overall, I would caution others to be wary when ordering from Ss396. While they may have a wide selection of parts, their lack of attention to detail and customer service leaves much to be desired.

Ss396 Quick Delivery but Beware: Gauges Too Large for Factory Housing

I was so excited to receive my order from Ss396.com in such a quick delivery time. I had ordered gauges that convert from noid lights to gauges, but unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed to find out that the gauges they sent were too large to fit in the factory housing. It was a catastrophic moment for me. In order to install the new gauges, I had to destroy the back of the cluster. I really wish that this information was included on the website, so that buyers could be aware of this issue before making a purchase. So, if you're thinking about buying these gauges, be warned that you will have to destroy the back of your cluster to install them. Despite this issue, I have to say that the quality of the gauges themselves is excellent. They look great and work perfectly once installed. Overall, I would recommend Ss396.com for their quality products, but just be aware of this issue with the gauges.

Ss396 Disappointed with Ss396's Service and Pricing for Complete Rebuilds

I paid a heap of cash to Ss396 for two complete rebuilds from the ground up. Was waiting on some parts that never came, and it turns out they said they shipped it and didn't process it properly for drop shipment. Instead of making things right, they could have rushed the delivery, but that didn't happen. I'm a bit bummed out to later find out that some of the parts I bought can be found elsewhere for a better dollar. I gotta say, ss396.com, you've lost my loyalty, even though I spent lots of cash.

Ss396 Disappointing Experience with Ss396: False Promises and Out of Stock Items

I recently had an experience with Ss396 and it wasn't the best. I ordered a rear deck repair panel for my Chevelle and was promised free shipping. However, the next day I received an email saying that the item was out of stock. I was disappointed, but what really bothered me was that the website now said the item was not eligible for free shipping or any discounts. This was not mentioned when I made my purchase.

Ss396 Unhappy with ss396.com: Wrong Order and Poor Customer Service

I ordered a carpet for my Chevelle from ss396.com because I had a car show coming up. I made sure to place my order in plenty of time to receive it before the show. However, when the package arrived, I was sorely disappointed to discover that they had sent me a carpet meant for a Nova, and not even the right color! Talk about a frustrating inconvenience!

To make matters worse, when I contacted their customer service about the mistake, they made me jump through hoops by sending me a return label and forcing me to drop it off at a UPS location. This was such a hassle and it really put a damper on my excitement for my upcoming car show.

I had to wait for them to receive the incorrect carpet back in their warehouse, and only then would they ship my correct order. Needless to say, it put a serious wrench in my plans and I was very unhappy with how they handled this situation.

It's disappointing to have such a negative experience with a company, especially when you're counting on them to deliver quality products in a timely manner. Sadly, I will not be ordering from ss396.com again in the future. I'll take my business elsewhere and hope for a more positive experience next time.

Ss396 Mixed Experience with Ss396: A Bumpy Ride with a Lifesaving Customer Service Rep

I gotta say, my experience with Ss396 was a bit of a rollercoaster ride. At first, I was pretty ticked off because my order wasn't shipping and I had no idea why. I mean, come on, isn't it common sense to let your customers know if there's an issue with their order? But nope, I had to call customer service myself to find out what was going on.

Turns out, my order couldn't be shipped until I verified my info and address. Okay, fair enough, but why wasn't I told this in the first place? It's not like I was trying to pull a fast one or anything. I just wanted my dang order!

Anyway, I called customer service and spoke to a lady who was actually pretty helpful. She got everything sorted out for me and my order finally shipped. So, while I'm still a bit miffed about the whole situation, I gotta give credit where credit is due. The lady I spoke to was a real lifesaver.

Overall, I'd say Ss396 is a decent company. They've got some cool stuff on their site and their prices are pretty reasonable. Just be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride if you run into any issues with your order.

Ss396 SS396 Review: Long Wait Time and Poor Service for Brake Conversion Kit and Ignition Purchase

I got my eye on Ss396 for sometime but decided to order only few things from there last month. I grabbed a brake conversion kit, and some smaller items such as key and ignition. I placed my order excitedly on June 8th and awaited eagerly. But unfortunately, things didn't go the way I expected them to be.

After waiting ten long days, I got an update from them that the items will be sent fourteen days after. Well, that sounded steep but I stayed hopeful. I mean, these are premium products, right? But just when I thought things couldn't get worse, they did! I called after the waiting period and guess what? The item was now on back-order. They told me that it will now be sent out on July 14th, I mean holy cow!

It was so frustrating to have to wait so long for something I really had my heart set on. I could have spent my money somewhere else and I could have got it a whole lot quicker and the worst part is that they didn’t even offer me any incentive for the trouble I had to go through.

I was so disappointed, and to say the least, not impressed at all with the whole experience. Ss396 needs to improve their services especially when it comes to delivery times, and given that this product wasn't covered under free shipping, I won't be spending another dime with them in the future.

Ss396 Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Ss396 PS Conversion Kit

So, I had a bit of a problem with my PS conversion kit from Ss396. They sent me the wrong fitting, which was a bit of a bummer. I spent a good couple of hours on the phone with tech and customer service trying to sort it out. I even sent them a couple of emails with pictures to show them what was going on. But, unfortunately, they told me that I would have to buy the part that they sent wrong. It's only a $12.00 part, but still, it's the principle of the thing.

I mean, come on, any decent customer service would have just sent me the right part and admitted that they made a mistake. But no, they're still dragging their feet on this one. And, honestly, it's really disappointing. I spent $910.00 on this kit, and I feel like I'm not getting the service that I deserve.

It's a shame, really, because I was excited to try out some of the other parts that Ss396 has to offer. But now, I don't think I'll be giving them another chance. You only get one chance to make a first impression, and they blew it. So, if you're thinking about buying anything from Ss396, I would definitely think twice.

Ss396 Terrible Customer Service and Attitude: My Experience with Ss396

I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend Ss396 to anyone. They've been giving us some real attitude lately, and their customer service is just plain bad. We ordered a part and they sent us the wrong one, even though we sent them an email to cancel the order once we realized the mistake. But they just kept sending it anyway! When we finally got the part and called to complain, they told us we had to pay for shipping to send it back. And we've spent a ton of money at this place over the years, too! It's just not worth it. We'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

Ss396 Avoid Ss396 at all costs - Scam website with terrible customer service and overpriced parts

Ss396 sucks! I recently ordered a part from them and it never showed up. I tried emailing them twice, but no one bothered to reply. And when I called their customer service, I just got stuck with people who have no idea about customer service. They couldn't even explain where my part was. I'm still waiting for my refund and I don't think I'll be getting it anytime soon.

Honestly, I should have known that Ss396 was a scam from the start. Their website looks like it was made by a kid in their basement trying to earn some extra cash. And don't even get me started on their prices. They charge an arm and a leg for parts that don't even work!

If you're thinking about ordering from Ss396, take your money elsewhere. Don't make the same mistake I did. There are plenty of other sites out there that actually care about their customers and provide quality products. Ss396 is clueless when it comes to customer service, and they'll just take your money and run.

Ss396 Mixed experience with Ss396: Half of order arrived on time, still waiting on backordered item. Great selection and prices, but lacking

I recently purchased from Ss396 and while I received half of my order on time, I am still waiting for a console that I ordered back in November of 2021. It's almost February of 2022 now and I'm starting to get a little antsy. Overall, I would say my experience with Ss396 has been only half pleasing.

I was really excited to purchase from Ss396, especially since they had such great reviews online. When I received the first half of my order, which was delivered on time, it was like Christmas had come early! But then I started to get worried when I didn't receive the rest of my order. I reached out to customer service and they said it was on backorder, but they didn't have any information on when it would be back in stock.

On one hand, I appreciate that Ss396 was honest about the issue and didn't just string me along. But on the other hand, it is frustrating to not have a concrete timeline for when I can expect the rest of my order. I'm hoping it will arrive soon because I was really looking forward to getting that console!

Despite this hiccup in my order, I still think Ss396 has a lot of great products to offer. They have a wide selection of items, especially when it comes to car parts and accessories. If you're in need of something specific for your car, they likely have it! The prices are also very reasonable, which is a huge plus.

The only thing that I hope Ss396 improves on is their communication with customers. While they were upfront about the backorder issue, it's been frustrating to not have any updates on when I can expect my order. It would be great if they could be more proactive about updating customers on the status of their orders.

Ss396 Ss396: Total Disappointment with Poor Customer Service and Returns Process

I gotta tell ya something, Ss396 is a total disappointment. I mean, I tried to return a product according to their rules but I just keep getting excuse after excuse. And let me tell ya, the returns employee, she ain't got no customer skills at all. It takes her a week just to reply to my email. And get this, she don't even know where the returns are in the facility! What kinda organization is this? A dump, that's what it is. Don't waste your time with these guys.

Ss396 Disappointing Experience with Ss396.com for Racing Parts

Racing or their website ss396.com!

I gotta tell ya, I had an experience with Ss396 that left me feeling pretty frustrated. I put in an order for some parts and after waiting for what felt like an eternity, I still hadn't received anything! I couldn't get a response from anyone either, no matter how many voicemails I left. Can you believe that?

After all that hassle, I decided to cancel my order. But did they make it easy for me? Oh no, not at all! They said it would take a whole 7-10 days to refund me for parts that they never even shipped out. It was a real bummer, let me tell you.

At that point, I was pretty excited to find out that Summit Racing had the same product in stock. I went ahead and ordered it from them instead and guess what? It's due to arrive this Wednesday! Can you believe it? I'm so stoked!

Anyway, while I'm not one to bash businesses, I really feel like I should warn people not to order anything from Ground Up Racing or ss396.com. It just seemed like such a huge mess and a waste of my time. So yeah, just a friendly bit of advice from someone who's been there.

Ss396 Not worth the hassle: Dismal experience returning parts from this company

This place ain't for me. The catalog ain't clear about what rides their parts fit on. The website ain't no good either. When you gotta return a part, they don't give back the shipping cash. And dang, sometimes it cost more to send it back than it did to get it. They're slick too, they don't give the right weight to the shipping company and make out. I don't think they play by the rules, so you might wanna bounce on outta here.

Ss396 Ss396.com Review: Great Selection, Slow Customer Service

But, after a few weeks of trying to get in touch with them, they finally got back to me and were able to get the correct part shipped out. It was a relief to finally have everything we needed for the restoration.

Overall, I would say Ss396.com has a great selection of parts for classic cars and they are easy to order from. However, their customer service needs improvement. It's a shame that it took so long to resolve the issue with the wrong part, but at least they did eventually correct it.

One thing to note though is that you really need to make sure you know exactly what you need before ordering, as they can be a bit slow to respond to inquiries. But if you have the right information on hand, you should have a pretty smooth experience ordering from them.

In summary, Ss396.com has the parts you need for your classic car restoration project, but be prepared for the possibility of some bumps in the road when it comes to customer service.

Ss396 Unprofessional and Unethical Marketing: My Experience with Ss396 (ss396.com)

So, I got this email today from Ss396 (ss396.com). I mean, come on man! I never knew these guys existed before, and out of the blue, I get this spam email from them. I ain't even into muscle cars and stuff, so I don't understand how they got my email address and my contact details.

Anyway, the bottom line is that this kind of behavior ain't cool, dude. As a small business owner myself, I know that marketing can be tough, but resorting to spamming people like this is just unprofessional and unethical. It's like the Wild West out here, and we all gotta play the game clean and fair.

And to those guys at Ss396 (ss396.com), listen up. I reported this spam email to your email provider, and I'm gonna post a review about this unethical behavior wherever I can find. We all gotta do better in this world, and that's how we create a better tomorrow.

Ss396 Unreasonable Customer Service: My Experience with Ss396

for it? You know what they say, "Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice, shame on me."

So let me tell you about my experience with this Ss396 website. I was looking to buy a harness for my ride, but when it arrived, it was the wrong one. So, naturally, I contacted their customer service to see if I could exchange it. They told me to call the shipping company and gave me an hour to ship it back. So I did, and I even paid for the shipping myself because I really needed that harness.

But then things started to get crazy. The company didn't want to pay for the shipping to send me the correct harness, even though it was their mistake. To make it worse, the cost of shipping back to them was more than the actual harness itself! I asked for a return label, but they said no. Can you believe that?

I was really mad about the whole situation, and when I talked to my car club about it, they said that they just had a meeting and decided that they wouldn't do business with Ss396 anymore because they were not being reasonable. And to be honest, I totally agree with them.

It's just not right that we have to pay for their mistake when all we want is the right product that we ordered. So I'm warning you, don't trust these guys. They may have some cool stuff, but they are not reasonable when it comes to customer service. And we all know that customer service can make or break a business. 'Nuff said.

Ss396 Disappointing Experience with Ss396.com - Duplicate Parts and Poor Customer Service

i made a a couple of orders on Ss396.com and spent over $8000. im not completely satisfied with the experience though. i got some duplicate parts and i still havent received a few parts yet. They are pretty nice when youre first dealing with them but after that they dont really wanna work with you. their so called "three day policy" puts you in a situation where if you dont get all the parts you need, you cant put your ride together. i wont buy from them again, theres just too many places out there with better service. all i wanted was the parts that i ordered. i even offered to send back the duplicated parts but i was just told that thats just how they roll and thats their policy. i sent them pictures of what i got but they just didnt wanna help me out more.
