I've never had cause to complain about SpeedX until 4 days ago. Normally I have very few issues with getting packages to my address; I live in a clearly visible area, right off of a main route through my county, in a townhome clearly marked both on Google/Apple Maps and via my own physical address. IOW, you have to be either a. a genuine idiot who cannot read basic road signs and follow basic directions, read and/or count house numbers, and/or follow clearly marked guidance to find my address, or b. The driver wanted an excuse to steal my package because it had a bunch of stuff in it.

I live ADJACENT to an apartment complex that is clearly labeled with a prominent sign before anyone can turn towards it. Likewise my court also displays a prominent sign; it helps that the street I live off of happens to be the same name that is prominent on that sign! It also helps that the addresses in the OPPOSITE direction are only 4-digit numbers that in no way resemble my own address even approximately, and my address is a 5-digit number very clearly different from the ones delineating the apartments. Yet for whatever reason this driver decided he MUST have been in the right place, and so marked my package as having an invalid address. The only way I can now have the package delivered is by contacting SpeedX to update the address. Here's the problem with that: Their only public email address goes unanswered, and their chatbot, Miles? Well, it literally told me it couldn't update ANYTHING unless the package was out for delivery, and since it's not going to be out for delivery without an address update that its incapable of doing because the address is already correct and the chatbot can clearly SEE that its correct already...well, now I'm in a catch-22. The chatbot told me to contact someone directly at speedx, but when I asked it how I could do that, it said it couldn't give me any information to do the thing it literally told me I needed to do to resolve this issue.

My next step is to pursue a regulatory or legal remedy with them. Nobody, and I literally mean no one, should trust this company to do anything it's being paid to do. I have read so many stories of people losing packages for no reason over stupid errors or driver incompetency, or just straight up have them stolen that its appalling. I would go to the Beltsville, MD warehouse myself if I could, but it's not a public address, and there's no phone number or ANYTHING to facilitate correcting their insanely stupid error. It's literally the easiest fix possible...IF I COULD JUST TALK TO SOMEONE TO FIX IT. And because that's impossible; because the company has gone out of its way to MAKE SURE THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE, now I'll end up spending two months trying to get a package delivered that, because a driver was either up to no good or just stupid, I will never see unless I pursue a regulatory option.

STAY THE F AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
