In early August 2026 I was told by Customer Service that I could transfer my Internet and TV service to my new address by physically brining my equipment, including my DVR, router and modem to the new location in hooking them up at no charge to me. Then, without authorization they changed my plan, resulting in numerous hours and multiple calls to try to rectify the problem, during which time I was without internet service or TV. Final result was that on 8/12/26 I called and tried to close my account. After a long discussion, the rep (Chris) convinced me to give them one more chance, and he returned my service to my original plan, with a monthly charge of $174 with a guaranteed price freeze for three years. Then an unexplained charge of $95 was processed on my account and they sent a notice that the "updated service" would cost me $272.51 and that new equipment was shipped to me, all of which I never agreed to or authorized.
Claimed loss: Unauthorized charges of $367.51.
Desired outcome: Reduce all unauthorized charges.
