I went into the Spectrum store in Fenton Michigan to get the Spectrum $60 internet and TV bundle for 2-years and the salesperson Robert Gale behind my back changed it to the more expensive package at $149.03 package. He said If I switched my 2-phones over for $30 each a month he could extend the deal to 3-years which I did. I didn't know until I received the 1st bill what had happened that he changed it to the more expensive package. When I called to complain about it Spectrum told me they wouldn't honor the advertised $60 Internet + TV plan. They did change it to $75 for 1-year only. They have since raised my phnes to $40 per month after 1-month. Classic case of "BAIT & SWITCH!
Claimed loss: I have so far lost only $35 but will lose that much every month over this year of discounted service. After my 1-year is up that I was told would be 3-years, there will be way more cost that I don't even know yet how much that will be.
Desired outcome: I want the pricing on my 2-phones of $30 each for 3-years and the internet + TV package of $60 a month for 3-years like I was told I would get and was advertised on the Spectrum website when I signed up.
