I am writing to formally express my frustration and dissatisfaction regarding my ongoing internet service outage and the inconvenience it has caused my household.
On the evening of March 31, 2026 at approximately 8:50 PM, I spoke with a representative concerning my router not receiving a signal. I was advised to either return the router to a Spectrum location or have a replacement sent. I chose to pick up a new router in person, brought it home, and connected it as instructed. Unfortunately, I encountered the exact same issue with the replacement device.
Today at 4:35 PM, I contacted Spectrum again to report that the new router was still not receiving a signal. The representative conducted several signal tests and determined that the router was not receiving a signal from the modem. As a result, a technician visit was scheduled.
Shortly afterward, I received a call informing me that all technicians were fully booked for today, and the earliest available appointment would be tomorrow Thursday April 2, 2026 between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This delay is extremely frustrating, as it means yet another full day without internet service. Additionally, this scheduled time is highly inconvenient due to a prior medical appointment I must attend.
At 6:14 PM, I called again to express my concerns and disappointment. It is unacceptable that my household must go multiple days without internet access. This disruption has significantly impacted my children, who are unable to complete their homework or access educational resources, as well as basic entertainment such as television.
I am requesting immediate attention to this matter, as well as consideration for compensation or credit for the days of lost service. I rely on Spectrum services, and this experience has been both stressful and disruptive.
I appreciate your prompt response and resolution to this issue.
