I entrusted my car to this business on April 9th, 2022, with the understanding that the repairs would be completed within a week and a half. I paid the deposit on April 11th and shortly after, I encountered issues with the contact number I had been using to reach them. Frustrated, I visited the shop in person on April 19th to inquire about the progress. They assured me that my car would be ready by Monday, April 25th, 2022, and provided me with a different contact number.

Throughout the entire duration that they had my car, they never proactively reached out to me unless it was in response to my missed calls. Despite this lack of communication, I paid the remaining balance and retrieved my car on Friday, April 29th, 2022, around 4pm. Unfortunately, the car was not in a drivable condition and I had to return it to their shop before 7pm on the same day. This unexpected turn of events forced me and my two small children to walk home along a busy highway.

The business has shown no remorse for the inconvenience caused and has only offered vague reassurances that they are "working on it" throughout the entire month. Their lack of communication has resulted in me having to walk to work, as they have failed to provide any updates or progress reports. Despite having paid the full balance, the car remains unfixed.

On April 30th, I called them again and was informed that they were still examining the car. They promised to call me with an update by noon, but failed to do so. I took the initiative to call them back before noon, and they informed me that they were still searching for the necessary part. They anticipated finding it by Monday, May 2, 2022, but stated that there was nothing else they could do at the moment. Additionally, they claimed that they had charged me the wrong amount and insisted that I owed them an additional $75. I firmly expressed my refusal to pay more, as they had already given me a $100 discount for a defective crankshaft.

Throughout this entire ordeal, the business has demonstrated a lack of communication, causing significant inconvenience and forcing me to rely on walking as my means of transportation. To make matters worse, after finally returning my car, it broke down again on the same day, leaving me and my children stranded on a busy highway. I am now without a car once again, uncertain of when it will be properly repaired, and they are demanding an additional $75 from me.
