Spoke with Sono Bello rep and agreed to prepay for procedure to get a discount but I had NOT even met with a Sono Bello doctor. My mistake to prepay before meeting with their doctors, however... When I went to meet with their doctors in Dec, 2024 at the Denver Sono Bello (a 6 hour drive from my home), two problems arose: (1) I had very high blood pressure (which I didn't realize) and the doctor told me I was a stroke risk if I had the procedure so he said I should work with primary doctor to control my bp which I did, and (2) a few months later in March, 2025 after my bp medicine was adjusted and my blood pressure controlled I went back to Sono Bello but for some reason still had high bp there; also at this time the new dr I was given (the previous one no longer worked there) said I wasn't "that fat" and given the smooth nature of my skin I could end up with ridges/wavy skin. I should mention I also was feeling sick. I was concerned about my blood pressure and a stroke risk during the procedure as well as the potential I could be left with abnormal wavy/ridges on my skin. So I cancelled and asked for a refund. They said they would get back to me. I said I understood if they needed to take some kind of deposit but I spent many thousands of dollars and I wanted most of that back. No response from them now. It's been months. There seems to be a disconnect between corporate/sales reps and doctors at Sono Bello. I've given them the opportunity to do the right thing, but they have not.
Recommendation: Don't go to Sono Bello. Go to a private practice with highly trained and specialized doctors and not to a large business that treats you like cattle. It's your health and your body - treat it well and carefully.
